A Cold Heaven by forsakenphoenix

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Even in death, James shines brighter than Sirius. But he’s no longer jealous, knows that it’s just borrowed light; James glows when he’s loved. He was always loved, will always be loved.
Reviewer: MaraudersAffair Signed
Date: 05/23/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Wow, I'm very much enjoying this. The chemistry between Sirius and James is perfect -- and I really feel incredibly horrible for Sirius. Loved the descriptions of how his family thought -- how they wanted him to hate Muggles. And the scene in the dormitory -- James jumping on everyone -- brilliant!

Harry Potter and the Serpent's Eye by Marauder9744

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A 7th year fic in which Harry, Ron and Hermione search for the remaining Horcruxes and ultimately battle Voldemort. Post HBP; in canon, no slash. H/G R/Hr

Chapter 25 is up; Chapter 26 is with my beta!

Date: 05/13/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - Return to Privet Drive

Ahaha -- I think it's hilarious that the Dursleys didn't try to stop Tonks. They had no idea if Tonks was just another death eater trying to kill Harry. XD Great chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks a lot, MaraudersAffair! You\'re actually the first person to comment on that scene which I thought was pretty funny :) Glad you enjoyed!

Batter and Banter by Slian Martreb

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Sirius and Remus bake a cake
Reviewer: MaraudersAffair Signed
Date: 01/10/07 Title: Chapter 1: Batter and Banter

Oh, I love the idea of Remus baking a chocolate cake. Ahaha - Sirius not knowing what the hell Remus was doing. Perfect. Crack-licious! :D

Author's Response: Didn\'t you realize that that\'s what the white powdery stuff was? *waggles eyebrows* Thanks for reading!

Oh, wow - you wrote Voldemort perfectly! Great chapter and descriptions of each character. :D

“Severus, there’s no need for flattery."

Wonderful! Please continue!

Welcome, The Darkness Infused by Prophecies

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Harry Potter has always been unusual. But how unusual will he become when a brutal massacre at Bill and Fleur's wedding leaves him simmering with rage and revenge? Confronted with a darker side of himself and with unlikely allies, what's going to be next? Follow him while he deals with the ever growing threat of a world full of despair and darkness, and his quest to conquer the Dark Lord. Book 7 fic, HBP compliant.

Loved it. Seeing Harry in such a ruthless light. It's really something different -- Harry as such a rash character. Great work. :D

Author's Response: Thanks for taking the time to review! Harry can be a very rash character imo when it comes to his emotions or notions he gets into his head, just think of Sirius in Ootp or how he goes into the \'Slytherin\' train compartment, following Malfoy around all year. I\'m glad you\'re enjoying the story so far, thanks for the compliment! :)

Whoa -- I was so excited when I thought Snape and Harry were actually going to face one another. *dies* That would just be so brilliant -- but I doubt he would roll on the ground with Snape like he did with Draco. That scene really had slash undertones. So satisfying.

Author's Response: Well LOL that would have just been too easy for Snape. Remember the end of HBP? I couldn\'t do that to Harry.

Reviewer: MaraudersAffair Signed
Date: 05/20/07 Title: Chapter 3: Going Numb

That was incredible. Your writing reminds me of my own -- maybe that is why I love your descriptions so much. It's strange to think of Voldemort at a feast -- that he actually eats. And Snape -- still waiting for him to make more of an appearance. I'm so depressed for Harry -- awful to think about being sliced open. *cries*

Author's Response: A story is nothing without descriptions to give the reader the correct settings and ambiance of the story :) Glad you enjoyed that. I will have to read one of your stories to see what you mean hehe..

YES! YES! YES!

I knew Snape had to come into play sometime. And what a perfect way -- saving Harry from Voldemort. Loved your characterization of Snape -- so great. :D

Author's Response: Thank you so much for all your reviews! It really makes me happy seeing that you enjoy it so much. Gives me a sense of accomplishment! Thanks!

That Bloke Remus Lupin by Meryl Montgomery

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Derry "D" O'Keane records her hopeful romance for a studious Gryffindor in an enchanted diary.

Remus Lupin/Original Character
Reviewer: MaraudersAffair Signed
Date: 06/09/07 Title: Chapter 1: Kisses, Eduardo.

I really love this character you have created. She strikes me as just so real -- especially with the dialict you gave her -- oh, and I think her crush on Remus is just too sweet. Maybe a bit too innocent for being seventeen and such, but I can totally believe. Will move on to read next chapter. Great work. :]

So good -- loved the part about her father. Remus is too adorable. :D

Broken At Least Twice by BeautifulDreamer07

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Albus Dumbeldore is a character that has been puzzling Harry Potter fans since the very first chapter of Book 1. How did he get that interesting scar that is a perfect map of the London Underground? How did his nose get so crooked? Why does he trust Severus Snape? Broken At Least Twice explores one of Dumbledore's more interesting characteristics...

"His blue eyes were light, bright, and sparkling behind half-moon spectacles and his nose was very long and crooked, as though it had been broken at least twice."

SS/PS chapter 1

Wow -- I very much liked this. Such a different view of Dumbledore -- meaning delving into his inner thoughts and whatnot. Great work! :D

Never Again by HandPFeather

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Canon Compliant to Chapter 33 of DH.
Severus Snape: Dumbledore’s man or Dumbledore’s murderer? This OFC fic explores what happened all those years ago to make Snape turn spy and how it shaped the Potions Master into the man we love to hate.

Date: 05/18/07 Title: Chapter 1: Feast and Famine

Just the thought of Snape with Violet makes me jump with glee. Did I use glee correctly? I'm not too sure -- but you get the point. Great beginning!

Author's Response: I\'m so happy that you are enjoying it! And yes, I do believe that if you meant all happy and smiling then yes, you did use glee correctly. Let me know what you think as you read on.

At The Sign of the Green Dragon by FlightofthePhoenix

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: When tragedy strikes and Harry dies, Ginny must learn to live with her painful memories. She forces herself to carry on in her life, convincing everyone that she's alright. But, underneath her smile, her world is caving in. Can she ever truly love again?
Reviewer: MaraudersAffair Signed
Date: 05/17/07 Title: Chapter 1: Underneath This Smile

Lying on the bed was a familiar faced young man. His face was covered in scratches; the one standing out the best was the infamous lightning bolt scar on his forehead. His eyes were still open in determination; the last emotion he had felt before meeting the end of his life when the Killing Curse had met its target.

Incredibly striking. Loved the description.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, I try to as descriptive as possible :). ~Nicole

This is such a great fic -- it's amazing! It really makes me feel for Lupin -- loved the scenes between Snape and him. :D

Author's Response: Thanks! :) Being a wizard doesn\'t solve all the problems - though it probably helps - but it was nice to show some realism.

Date: 06/08/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Summer After First Year

Hmm, I must say that this is one of the better snevans fics I have read. See -- I'm planning on writing my own fic about Lily/Snape and I have been reading all the stories that center around the pairing.

I very much liked how you wrote Snape -- in such an early teenage awkwardness. :D But I did have trouble following the fic whenever you used Pepper of Salty -- I found myself having to stop and wondering why the narrator would use their nicknames.

And Snape riding a broom to Lily's house! So great -- loved how you described it, too. :]

Author's Response: The narrator uses their nicknames because she cannot bear to have a character called Petunia! I\'m glad you enjoyed it ;)

For some reason -- I just really want Draco to turn into someone Ginny can fall in love with. But that's just be. Good chapter. :]
