B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L Banner by the talented Pixichik118 (Alyssa)

Hullo, I’m Priz, your hyper, Mexican 13-year-old that uberly adores Harry Potter. :D

Banner by the amazing Hokey (Jenn)

I enjoy making Banners, drawing, listening to music, debating, reading and writing.

My favourite characters are Fred Weasley, George Weasley, Draco Malfoy and Ron Weasley.
I ship Draco/Me (no joke, I love that ship), Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks and Harry/Ginny.

Banner by Moi!

I was sorted into the amazing Toaster House (Gryffindor) and I’m a member of the MNFF Toaster Trio. :D

Astonishing Banner by BeautifulDreamer07 (Hallie)

My Fics

Awesome banner by Hokey (Jenn)

Info and Summary: Keep Holding On is my very first fic. It’s a Dark/Angst one shot that narrates Roxanne’s last moments alive. Songfic to Avril Lavigne’s Keep Holding On.
Characters: KHO features my OC Roxanne and Draco. Fortunately, my readers have said I managed to keep my beloved Slytherin IC and that Roxanne dosn't suck that much.
Ships Draco/Roxanne, in other words, Slytherin/Slytherin. :D
Rating and Warnings: 3rd--5th , Character Death.
Beta(s): Ash (Biscuits) and Ellie (though, the story had already been submitted and validated by the time she sent my fic back)
Status: Finished.
Random Fact: Roxanne’s middle name is Hope. This isn’t mentioned in the story.

Breathtaking Banner by Solemlyswear_x (Mel)

Info and Summary: Starlight and Shadows is a poem written in Ginny’s POV after Harry’s death. She allows sorrow to invade her as she recalls the night her beloved Harry slipped away.
Characters: Ginny, Harry is mentioned in the Flashback stanzas.
Ships Harry/Ginny
Rating and Warnings: 3rd--5th , Character Death.
Beta(s): Ash (Biscuits) and Kate (Euphrates)
Status: Finished.
Random Fact: I wrote this in the middle of the night, gazing at the stars. Night skies bring inspiration!

G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S banner by Sayiansirius (KC)

Info and Summary: Dear Diary is my very first attempt at writing a chaptered humor fic. The fic is composed by entries that I shamelessly stole from Dave’s diary. They give us an insight of a Dementor’s harsh life.
Characters: Dave D. Dementor, Josh, Aeneas the Depraved Boss. Some canon characters mentioned… but they don’t really participate in the story.
Ships None, yet.
Rating and Warnings: 1st—2nd years, None.
Beta(s): Ash (Biscuits) and Shmergo (Shmerg_The_Impaler)
Status: WIP ;)
Random Fact: This story started as a drabble for the Gryff In-Houshe challenge, but Dave kept annoying me with his ‘I want to be the famous, published diarist I was born to be’ rant, so I decided to submit the story to MNFF’s Archive.
Dave’s Note: You should totally read this! We Dementors have seriously misunderstood existences and my diary is like, just perfect to dignify us all. Plus, I’m absolutely amazing and, since the story focuses on me, you’ll love it!
Author’s Note regarding Dave’s Note: Ok, so the fic isn’t that amazing. Dave’s just extremely self-centered.

Have fun, dearies!

Hey there Mugglegurl! *tackles lovely ‘Puff*

Well, I’ll apologize in advance for what I know will be a quite lengthy review. In my defense, I read the whole story at once so… well I have to comment about all 10 chappies at the same time.

I must say that your plot is amazing! Really intriguing and Roemeo&Juliet-ish (hm… that’s not even a word, but… oh, well! *shrugs*) I love it! It had me hooked since the first two chapters :D
Frankly, my favorite chapter was ‘A near Kiss’. It had romance, yet it wasn’t too fluffy. It was smooth and flawlessly written, as the rest of the story is, of course. But… well, what can I say; I’m a hopeless romantic and a Tabby/Decimus shipper!
I don’t think you’re going too fast, you’re just showing us the first sparks of what might be a fiery and awesome relationship between our dear Tabby Potter and our smart and charming Decimus Malfoy.

In addition, your attention to little details and awesome descriptions astound me. You show, not tell- which is a really good thing for us readers.

But what has to be your great forte (in my opinion) is characterization. Harry is such a cute father! You portray his personality wonderfully; he’s really IC, only a bit more mature (which is a natural thing, since now he’s not a hotheaded 15-year-old anymore :P). The “a tabby cat for Tabby” gag was so incredibly sweet! Particularly just how I picture our green-eyed hero as a daddy!
Ginny and McGonnagall are really well-written too. Ginny even seemed a bit Molly-ish in the first chapter :D Oh! And my beloved prankster twins! You capture their essence so well… they’ll never stop being the mischievous Fred and George, right? ”Hard to believe I married that woman, actually.” *giggles*

Anyways, I think the best part of the fic itself were your OCs. They’re so well developed and wonderfully described. Not even a whisper of Mary or Gary!

Tabby is such a nice girl, she really pops. She’s good-looking, but not extraordinarily so, she seems smart, but not the top of her class. I could even find some things about myself in her, too (her competitive spirit, mainly *blushes*).

Nikki is just so adorable! All enthusiastic, yet she manages to keep composure. She’s also sly and sensitive. But before I turn her into a Mary-Sue, I dare say that I think she’s one of those persons that get their feelings hurt easily and, of course, the vampire thing… it made me think of Remy’s “Furry Little Problem” only that this one could be called a “Tiny, Teeth Issue”.

Oh, and Quinn! Her personality seems like a mixture of Hermione’s and Ron’s… which happen to be two of my dearest characters :D Speaking of it… are they married in your fic? If so, do they have any children? How close are Tabby and her siblings to them (the whole Weasley-Granger family… if it exists)?

This trio is so different from the ones I’ve read in other fics… really original and unique!

Trent and Chris are just my idea of the perfect brothers. Caring, lovable and protective. They’re awesome! (I wish my bf/bro was like that… *gets smacked in the head by raging brother* *yelps*)

Also, Krystal is just so cool! My friends call me Ice Queen too :P but I’m not white-and-blue colored, mind you… they call me that ‘cause that I’m always cold XD.

And this Gareth boy… I don’t know why but I have the feeling he’d be just great for our favourite Vampire ;)

And well, my personal favorite is Decimus! He’s just going straight to my “Most-Loved Characters Top Ten” XD. He’s so witty and smart, sharing a big resemblance to his devilishly good-looking dad in that feature; yet, he’s nowhere near as cold and sneery. I just wish I could pull him into a bone-crushing hug-- poor thing! – his lack of love is so terribly sad… besides, he deserves to be loved! He’s quite caring and nice, so different from his Death Eater ancestor in that aspect. And his fear for new things (such as love) is so reasonable. You sure fleshed him out the right way!

Oh pleaaaaase mods, tell me you will validate the 11th chapter soon! *looks at lovely mods with pleading sad-puppy eyes* I can’t wait to read more!

I’m sorry for the long review…
*huggles*
~Priz

Ps: Expect to see some drawings of your characters sometime soon in my Dean’s Corner thread ;)
Pps: I adore your story banner, and your author’s page banner and your Penname banner!
Ppps: Oh, nothing! I just like postscripts. *shrugs*

Author's Response: *blinks* Well, congrats, dear. I believe you\'ve just received a dedicated chapter from me with for giving me my longest review yet! And, yes, Ron and Hermione are married. They have one son. You\'ll find out more in later chapters. Also, one more thing, lay off on the caffeine, yes? ;)

I'm speechless! Your use of prose took my breath away!
I particularly adore your use of metaphores and the awesome description. You portrayed Ginny's feelings in such a real and strong way. I L-O-V-E IT!.

Somewhere, someplace a woman is crying, crying and waiting. She sits by the hour watching the seasons change, waiting for him to return to her. Autumn fades away into winter and winter melts into spring which throws itself to summer. The earth is dead once more and then it’s winter again.

This passage is so beautiful... it builds the mood for the whole fic gorgeously.

I have to say that this Fic made me cry... something that doesn't happen very often
Thanks for writing this, dear!

Somebody Beside Me by guiding ray of sunlight

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: When Kayla's father passes away, all she needs is a loving person beside her.

A One-shot submittion for the Gryffendor July Challenge- A Banner for Thee.
Reviewer: Disappearance_26 Signed
Date: 05/28/07 Title: Chapter 1: Somebody Beside Me

I daresay, I’m too emotional right now to write a descent review, however, I’ll do my best to give some feedback to such an amazing masterpiece.

You might be wondering why I classify this One-Shot as a ‘masterpiece’. Well, allow me to elaborate.

My first reason has to be the sentiment. It’s a really strong, poignant piece of literature that moves your every fiber from the very first paragraph. The emotions Kayla is dealing with are complex, yet they’re handled masterfully; showing the reader the endless pit of loneliness where Kayla feels she’s falling, and the heart-ache her father’s loss left.

…He would never be able to see me graduate from Hogwarts, which was only a month away. He was the one who had led me thus far, and he hadn't even lived to see me reach my goal…

The way Sunray describes her character’s feelings makes you share her despair and tears, making you yearn to comfort the poor, lonely girl and wipe away her tears.

This empathetic feeling leads me to my second reason: The characters.
As I said before, the description builds a sympathetic sensation in your heart towards Kayla, showing you her pain and allowing you to understand. She seems to be strong most of the time, for she had to live without her father really being there- yet, she knew he really loved her and understood that his love was more than enough to make him present, or so I understood. However, she does brake when her father’s gone, yet, she still tries to fight her tears back.

I watched the rain fall, and listened to the rhythm in which it hit the window pane. I closed my eyes, and cleared my mind of all thought. I knew that if I would think, I would cry.

Another character I grew fond of was the kind, sweet Ben. He was Kayla’s knight in shining armor, being there to show her she wasn’t alone. He really showed his Gryffindor bravery by giving Kayla hints of his love for her- choosing a perfect moment to do so. A moment when she needed to know she was loved.

"That is not true," Ben spoke slowly, quietly. He picked up my face so that he could look in my eyes. "There are people in this world who care for you. Also if you do not see it, you will always have a lifeline composed of love. Even if you do not love this person back, he will love you."

Anyways, I’d say this story is beautiful, particularly because of the mechanics. The use of literary elements is very well handled, as is the dialogue and description.

I strongly recommend “Somebody Beside Me”, specially if you want to see gorgeous imagery, intense dialogue and meet amazing new characters; all in one, comfy 917-word package!

Author's Response: O. M. G. PRiZ!!! *squee!!* Thank you! I don\'t know what to say! I\'m really happy you liked it! Thank you so so much for this awsomelitios review!! See you around Gryff! *huggles*

When little Janey Weasley starts life at Hogwarts, the mystery is still unsolved. On a whim, and desperate for recognition, she writes home to her father, asking how it came to be.
