Okay, I'm a normal girl with a hippie name (damn parents) and a (not so) closet obsession with Harry Potter. I have practically memorized the books, having listened to them on CD and read them all at least a hundred times. I love writing fanfiction and reading it. I used to only go on myb cousin's MNFF account but it's about time that I got my own. I already know that my favorite MNFF stories are:
**The Upside of Being Down**
Moments of Bliss
Uncle Fred Calls Him Dick
When Darkness Did Surround Us
Padfoot Prohibbited
anything by Melindaleo...

Outside of the Harry Potter univers, I love:
Candles, Snow, Stars, Writing, Reading, My friends (how I ended up with such amazing ones, I'll never know), Snowboarding, Raspberries, Chocolate

Contact me, if you ever want to chat or anything like that (if anyone is actually reading this...) and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

awww, but they never got to see his seventeenth birthday!

Author's Response: I know! They didn\'t even get to witness any of his other birthdays. I wanted to make it sad. Thanks for the review!

Good story, but the chapters are a bit short. Keep more coming.

Author's Response: Sorry about that, but I'm trying to focus on coursework. >.<

This was perhaps the most amazing one-shot I have ever read.

Author's Response: Thanks, that makes me smile!

The Light of His Life by The Scribbler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The Marauders seventh year at Hogwarts is about to begin and everyone is excited, but for James, something—or rather someone—weighs heavily on his mind. All summer he had worked to change into a better person… all for Lily Evans. The only question now is if she’ll give him the second chance he needs to change her mind.

The sequel to The Beginning and Unexpected Hope.

I think this was an amazing one-shot, wich is saying something since I usually despise one-shots. I am more the type that likes really really long stories with equally long sequels. If you would write one of those, I would be very interested.

hint hint

Author's Response: Despise one-shots? I love them! That\'s a pretty high compliment, though, for someone who hates them to like mine. I do have some ideas for some longer stories, but they still need to stew around for awhile before they\'re posted for public reading.

I'll Pick You Up by MagEd

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: “Guilt brings people together. It’s a takes one to know one type thing.”

James Potter has always been a spoiled, arrogant, lazy show-off. When he enters his final year at Hogwarts School, he’s Head Boy . . . and he’s still a spoiled, arrogant, lazy, show-off. But because of that terrible summer, he’s also guilt-ridden.

Lily Evans has always been a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. When she begins her last year at Hogwarts, she’s Head Girl . . . and still a self-righteous, impatient, temperamental know-it-all. But the first night back — and the murder that takes the entire school by surprise — leave her guilt-ridden as well.

With the darkness that’s surrounding the Wizarding world slowly seeping, at long last, onto the grounds of Hogwarts and into the lives of James Potter and Lily Evans, what comes next?

This is amazing. I love all of your stories but this one really stands out to me. I think it's because the night that you've described is so realistic. Fanfiction writers tend to be too young to add in parts of teenage living (especially in the 70s) that included smoking, drinking, and clubbing. And usually, if they do so, they get it wrong. You did a good job, though. I'm definitely interested to read the rest.

Author's Response: Thanks very much! I was really afraid the start would be boring because it's just one regular night, so I'm glad that you liked it and thought it realistic! :)
