So I'm finally filling in this bio - it's only taken me about a year... :P :)

Among my favorites are Harry Potter, poetry, writing, anything equine (that is, having to do with horses), mac and cheese, books, music, the violin, the Ron/Hermione ship (along with Harry/Ginny and Lily/James), rainy days, and chocolate. I got hooked on HP when I stole the first book out of my brother's room when I was 5 years old. I have too many favorite characters to count. I found MNFF while clicking around Mugglenet one day and have been addicted ever since.

When God gave out brains, I thought he said trains, so I asked for a slow, small one :)

I think that is my favorite line ever... "The chances of me going out with you are about as great as Sirius being sent to Azkaban for helping Voldemort.” :)
Great job, I'm off to read the next couple of chapters!

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

Make It Right by LiliacFleur

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: What will it take to open Lily’s eyes and show her that James Potter is no longer the cocky, annoying little boy she sees him as, and make it right? A little trouble with Professor McGonagall, a detention and a list, it seems.
When Lily is forced to write a list of the positive attributes of James Potter, she finds her task less difficult and much more enlightening than she could ever have thought.

A one-shot fic that somehow managed to make itself into a two-part fic, featuring one of the Potterverse’s most beloved couples.

Date: 08/07/07 Title: Chapter 2: Detentions Can Be Interesting

Wow! This has got to be one of the best Lily/James fics I've ever read. It was really original, and I loved what they had to do for detention. James really sounded like James, and the same for Lily and Professor McGonagall. It was well written, it made me laugh, and I just loved the entire thing. Keep writing.

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!

This fic was hilarious to the point where I was laughing so hard my brother came over to see what I was reading. Not only was it hilarious, it was creative and (very) unique.
I was reading some of the reviews below and saw that you said it was, and I quote, "a stupid story" :o But I don't think it's stupid! Ridiculous, maybe, but in a good way. :)
I loved how you included so many random pop-culture references. I adore Pirates of the Caribbean, The Princess Bride, and Monty Python especially (What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?)
Also, Bellatrix's comments made me laugh out loud!!!!111!!!!11?!!!
If you get the chance, could you tell Smolderin' Volders from me that I really quite enjoyed his blog? Thanks!
~Vivian

Author's Response: Oh, wow! I am so pleeezed that you like it! And yes, I think it's stupid, but stupid in a 'delightfully, entertainingly stupid' kind of way. Then again, I DID write it my freshman year, so I'm glad that someone other than me thinks it's funny! And it's great that I'm not the only human being in the world who likes POTC, Princess Bride, and Monty Python!

Voldemort says that he feels unclean and dishonoured that anyone whose username contains the names of both the mascot of the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter's Mudblood sidekick would read his blog, and he's going to go scrub himself in Lysol. That's his way of saying 'thanks!'

I absolutley love this poem, especially the part about Lily - that made me laugh. I really liked reading Harry's thoughts, which were really well written, and seemed like exactly what Harry would have felt and thought about his family. Good job!

I almost cried when I read this! You did a really great job with this poem. There was only one line that was a little too long ( I didn't get to see your first day at school or embarrass you by beggining to cry), but I actually really liked that line anyways. I can imagine that this is how Lily feels, watching her son grow up without her.

Author's Response: Thank you so very much! Yeah, that particular line was shorter, but I guess I added more when I wrote it out on the computer. Lol. Thank you so very much again for the compliments and reading!

Great job! I really loved this poem - even though it did make me incredibly sad - you did a great job writing it, and you did a superb job with ryhming. My favorite part was probably the ending. I loved what you wrote for James' tombstone.
Keep writing! This poem is going on my favorites.

Wow. (I'm still trying not to cry). This poem is absolutley amazing. There are so many things I love about it, especially the ending. You really captured the way so many of us felt when we read about a characters death - I had to go back and re-read because I couldn't believe they were dead. I think this is my favorite part:
Because of them,
The end could begin;
Thanks to their love, the
Dark Lord couldn’t win.
That was just really powerful. I thought the entire poem was powerful. I also loved the part about Fred, that was well written. Great job. This poem is going to my favorites.
Keep writing!

Author's Response: The Fred verse was probably the best because his death affected me the most. I just honestly couldn\'t believe Jo had done this to me (the twins were two of my favorite characters). I was just so sad, I knew I had to do something for them - and this was the result. Thank you for the review; I\'m glad you liked it! (even if I did almost make you cry :))
