Sorry guys, I will be taking a break from MNFF for a while. I have exams coming up for my Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology classes soon as well as some other major personal events coming up as well. I will try to make some time to continue working on my writing. I would like to take some more time to edit future chapters for Beginning and End of the Marauders, as I was personally dissatisfied with the most recent chapter. I will be editing that one as well until I am happy with it, because I rushed into posting it without carefully combing through and wish to better display my writing skills. Most likely, there will be more poetry coming to Diary of a Thousand Heartaches in the near future. Everyone have a great summer holiday!

--- I am a female, reside in the USA, avid HP fan, didn't read the books until November of 2005. I was always a fan of the movies, but never bothered to read the books because I so stupidly thought they were "children's" books.

But then, one day at the library, I thought to myself, "I wonder what the big deal is about those HP books?" So I checked out the first five and brought them home with me (looking rather like a nerd carrying so many books, DURING holiday break).

By the first page, JKR had me captivated. (Actually, it was probably more like page 5, US edition). I read the first 5 books in a week and a half, and would have read the sixth but didn't get it until Christmas. I read that one in 2 days. Thus starting my love (borderline obsession) with Harry Potter.

I also love the movies, which I know, are "not as good" as the books. But they still provide wonderful entertainment. I was at the midnight release of the Goblet of Fire DVD, and much to my surprise, I was probably the youngest person there. (As a college student, I expected there to be younger kids that had dragged their parents there).

So here's my deal: I was upset the JKR said she probably wouldn't write more HP books after Deathly Hallows, and I always wanted to know more about what happened with the Marauders. JKR apparently didn't wanna pull a whole "Star Wars" thing and go back in time. But I have no problem whatsoever with doing it myself!

So I wrote my own story. I stayed as true to the characters as possible, based on my limited knowledge of them. I also incorporated incidences that were mentioned in the HP books, such as Snape's worst memory, other snippets of memories of Snape from Order of the Phoenix, Lily being prefect, Snape almost getting mauled by Remus as a werewolf, all that good stuff.

I created my own character, Trista to give better insight into the story. I based a good amount of her personality off myself, so if you don't like her then you probably wouldn't like me! (Though I must say I'm much cooler than she is). Just joking. Hope you like the story,

In case you were wondering:
Fav book characters: Fred and George, Sirius, Lupin, Luna.

Fav movie characters: Hermione, McGonagall, Snape,

After several consistent online quizzes, I would be these Houses: First Ravenclaw, then Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and then Slytherin.
