Stories

Harmony by hestiajones

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

Thanks to Jess for encouraging me to publish this.

Learning to Fly by Equinox Chick

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Severus Snape fell off his broom the first time he tried to fly. He had no natural talent, not like the loathsome Potter, and couldn't really see the point at all in Quidditch.

But then he saw Lily watching a certain Chaser play and suddenly flying becomes very important.

I am not JK Rowling and I know nothing about flying on a broomstick. This is all made up.

Thank you Natalie (thelastolympian) for beta'ing this story in its original form a whole year ago.

Nought to Sixty by enchantedteapot

They meet one night at her sister's engagement party and while she may be troubled and detached, Draco quickly finds himself worryingly obsessed. But Astoria has a secret, one that the Greengrass family have kept buried since her childhood and one that she is ever-desperate to escape.

DISCLAIMER: I am not J.K.Rowling.

The Arcane ScoRA and the Blood Pact by OliveOil_Med

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Albus, Rose, and Scorpius about to return Hogwarts when the Daily Prophet is splattered with headlines of Alarice Dugan, Maddox's mother, proclaiming the exhistance of the Arcane ScoRA and tell the world about the Blood Pact she has made with her son to find justice for her son. Now, all the wizarding world is focused on these three second-years' and their every waking moment.

Staying under the radar should prove simple enough, but between receiving strange gifts of great magical power followed by perfect oppurtunities to use them, it is proving quite difficult. Now it seems like just a matter of time before the Arcane ScoRA first and most important rule is broken, and the secret organization comes crumbling down.

Everything We Could Have Been by redcastle

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: With Ron's constant snogging of his new girlfriend, Lavender, Hermione is never around. Yes, she was jealous of Lavender and upset with Ron, but what was she doing all this time? The rise of Voldemort, constant pressure in school, and her love for Ron are clear issues in her life, but what if Hermione was struggling with other problems—problems no one else, save one, knew about? What if, while in love with Ron, she found herself falling in love with someone else—someone none of her friends, nor herself, would ever have expected? This is the bittersweet tale of the love that blossomed between Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy during their 6th year at Hogwarts and beyond.

**UPDATE:** I am sorry for taking such a long break. I am now rewriting the story from a third person perspective because I just feel it is my stronger style and I feel I could not describe things the way I wanted to simply from Hermione's eyes, especially because she could not know Draco's thoughts, which I would like to include. I hope to finish the new Prologue in a few days and hopefully it will be validated quickly. I will probably just delete the current chapters as soon as the new version is accepted. Please continue to review and let me know what your opinion of the new version is. Again, I am so sorry. Future updates will be announced on my livejournal account so please follow there and comment. Thank you for any fans left out there who believe in my story. I am also looking for a beta to please look over my chapters before I submit them. Send me a message on the forum (username: redcastle) or on livejournal (username: cherryredcastle) if you are interested.

Fire by BrieJeanne

The Missing Ear of George Weasley by YerAWizard

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: George Weasley and Angelina Johnson have come up with a brilliant idea to honor Fred. They have spent the past several months gathering favorite memories of him and arranging them to share at his memorial service. One particular memory, however, brings a great deal of pain to George. It makes him reflect for the first time on the war that took both his ear and his twin away from him.

A Christmas Flower by Apollonious

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It is Christmas Eve, 1998.

Fleur sits alone, reading, in her bedroom at Shell Cottage. All around her, the freezing coastal winds carry snow. Suffering from the sorrow of Fred Weasley's death, and convinced that she is an outsider, Fleur is determined not to join the other Weasleys at the Burrow.

That is, until she is rudely awakened by a visiting spirit.

After all, when one cannot see the joy of Christmas, what one needs most is a little vigilance.

This is Apollonious of Hufflepuff House, with my entry for Prompt 4 of the Christmas' Past, Present, and Future Challenge. Enjoy!
