The Beast and The War by Dragontamer1

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: "A little story to whom it may concern- which is probably very few people, but it is an interesting (though exhausting to tell) story, indeed. I'll go against my better judgment and tell you about it anyways. This story is about The Sphinx Science War. (I hope you’ve heard of it, supposing they still teach a history of magic at Hogwarts) It is about how my immature little brother started the Sphinx Science War and how yours truly put an end to it." This is for The One-Shot Monologue Challenge for Ravenclaw House

Pure-Blooded Angst by pheonixhobbit

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Chapter 13 is written and in the queue....again....Hopefully it will go through this time?

Draco Malfoy has painted a perfect bad boy reputation, he has put defenses around his weaknesses so that no one can learn of them. But his greatest weakness is one that cannot be swept away. His greatest weakness, his greatest love, Hermione Granger. PG for insults, no swearing.
Disclaimer: I do not own the HP characters. They belong and always will, to the honorable J.K. Rowling.

Girl Meets Wolf; or The Unlikely Love Story of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks by hannahlinnekamp

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Behold! Here is the story of what happened behind the scenes in OOTP and HBP, the story of a feisty Metamorphmagus who falls in love with a hesitant werewolf.
Chapter one, Call me Tonks, describes their first encounter. It takes place at the beginning of OOTP.
Read and review, but most of all, enjoy!
PS: Does not contain HBP spoilers, but further chapters will (but you really should have read it by now, of course).

Edit: I had always planned to continue this tale, but never had the time. Unfortunately, in light of recent tragic events in Deathly Hallows, I'm really not very motivated to write the rest of the story... So this is the first and only chapter. Sorry guys. Still, enjoy!

Orange Sky by Canadian Confessional

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A person once said that in life, people must make sacrifices for the people and things they love the most, no matter how difficult it may be. Since he was born, Harry Potter has always been burdened with this saying. The Dark Lord, the Prophecy, and the many twists and turns in Harry’s fated life have always kept him from thinking a lot about “sacrifice” though. But at the end of Harry’s long journey of desperation and death, he reflects upon this very thought. He thinks about how it can make the greatest difference, and also how it can define a person. Most of all, however, he thinks about how lonely sacrifice can really and truly be, and how it is the most difficult decision made in life.
