**UPDATE:** I am sorry for taking such a long break. I am now rewriting the story from a third person perspective because I just feel it is my stronger style and I feel I could not describe things the way I wanted to simply from Hermione's eyes, especially because she could not know Draco's thoughts, which I would like to include. I hope to finish the new Prologue in a few days and hopefully it will be validated quickly. I will probably just delete the current chapters as soon as the new version is accepted. If you've read Mere Wisps of Light, then you'll know that Charity Burbage was very reticent about her Yule Ball romance when talking to Draco. This is why. The stories are linked, but it is not essential to read one to understand the other.
