Rated: 6th-7th Years •Summary: In the Indian society, the arrival of a baby girl in the house is considered equivalent to the arrival of a goddess. Women are considered the glue holding a family together. They go on to become mothers and they’re the emotional support of a family unit.

Summary: A life-changing disaster at work drives Neville Longbottom to seek aid from the only ally he thinks he can trust - Hermione Weasley. She's more than willing to help, but keeping it a secret puts nearly as much of a strain on herself and her family as it does on Neville, though for entirely different reasons.

I'm not JKR. (I don't think JKR would get such a kick out of putting Neville in such horrid situations.) She owns the Potterverse and everything in it.
Title and various chapter names are from the LeeAnn Rimes song Can't Fight the Moonlight.
Once again, this is a Brand New Neville, completely different to every other Neville you've read about from me. And if you're curious about following along, find yourself a moon phase chart from 2007.

She often thought on that - ever since she heard it in Harry's hushed tones. Maybe before that even. Not in the exact sense, of course - she would not claim the powers of a Seer (Merlin forbid). But something close to it, maybe - a strange, half-formed thought; ethereal and not quite tangible.

My protagonist, Danny, was briefly mentioned in my story Drowning, not Waving. This is his story and has been written nearly a year after Jess (ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor) asked me to write it.
This story won the 2013 QSQ for Best SSP and Danny won the 2013 QSQ for Best Original Character. I thank the judges, very much.
