I like that you are having Lupin come (he was always my favorite) but i think that it is a bit improbable that he would agree and be let to go to a muggle ski resort (wouldn't the ministry, dumbledore and his parents want specifics before they just let him go somewhere?). I like the thing about movies though...are we going to get to hear about sirius's first movie? :-)

Author's Response: I've always really liked Lupin, too! Yes, it is improbable, but I promise, it's a bit justified. Unfortunately, the movie isn't really dwelled upon... but I think I might go and edit a bit because a lot of people want to see Sirius and James' thoughts on movies! I liked the chapter. I only have two things to suggest the first is just that when towards the beginning Lily is speaking with James about her muggle friends there is no mention of where they are because before the muggle friends were close by in the room so it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't hear, the second is the the scene in which the death eater kidnaps her seems a little forced. why would he suddenly choose to take her in the middle of a restaurant? wouldn't people notice? also wouldn't Lily fight back? I always though of her as being really brave and clever. I really like the story though and i have a lot of fun reading it. I especially like all the jokes about Sirius not knowing muggle stuff. One more thing that is just because i am an American not English are chips french fries and crisps chips or am i confused?

Author's Response: Wow, thanks for such a long review! For the first scene you mentioned, I think Lily's friends had left the kitchen to greet Sirius and James, so they would be out of the room when Lily and Sirius were talking. I guess I should include more details like that to make it more clear! For the scene with the Death Eater, I think he had been following them for a while, trying to find a way to get to James, so when Lily bumped into him, he thought she would be good bait. And I was actually thinking while I wrote this part that Lily should be stronger and fight back more, but I had the DE just point his wand at her instead. Also, she didn't have her own wand at the time, so she probably didn't want to start a fist fight. And yeah, chips are french fries and crisps are chips! I'm glad you liked the chapter, and I love writing Sirius' Muggle confusions, so I'm happy you like reading them! Thanks again for such a long, lovely review! =]
