First of all, thanks for the lovely review, and I'm honored that you plan to be a devoted reader! :) As to your questions, I think this is a little more than a third of the way into the story. Unfortunately, I usually have time only to update once a month, although more often if it's a month with a school vacation in it. Also, though, I make sure the chapter is the best I can make it even before I send it to my beta, so that's part of the slowness in updating. I will not give up on this story, I can promise you that!

This is a really nice story. You've illustrated the characters well and the friendship between the Mauraders really shows. :) The only thing I'd say that needs improvement is the speed of it. James and Lily's relationship is going just a bit too quickly and I think the story would benefit from it being slower. Being completely honest, though, I really enjoyed this. The stories I've read lately aren't as good as this and so this was very refreshing. Update soon! :D

Author's Response: Thank you! I actually really appreciate that because, oddly enough, Mrs. Potter's short appearance in this chapter was the most difficult to write. I didn't want her to be too babying, but JKR has always said that James was a rather spoiled child.
