MOMENTS OF BLISS by moonymaniac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.

Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.

World Enough by Willow Rosenberg

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The Marauders have left school behind them just as war has fallen across the Wizarding World at last--quiet and invisible, but war nonetheless. And on the front lines is this small group of young Hogwarts graduates who have moved from pranking battles to something far more serious.

In this third and final installment to the James and Lily story begun in “Trickster” and “Stars Apart,” the Marauders join their friends in the Order as a part of what feels more and more like a fight they have no chance of winning. In the middle of it all, love grows and friendships break, trust forms and wavers, and warriors who are barely more than children must learn not only how to fight but what they are fighting for.

Things Change by Gmariam

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

James Potter has changed: no longer an arrogant, irresponsible prankster, he has matured into a responsible Head Boy with tops marks in Transfiguration. Lily Evans has changed as well: normally studious and in control, she has lost focus as she struggles with Head Girl responsibilities and N.E.W.T level studies. An unexpected encounter in the corridors one weekend leads to several startling realizations, the least of which is that things have definitely changed between James Potter and Lily Evans.

This story was nominated for a 2010 QSQ and is now complete.

You Told Me Once, Dear by MagEd

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Her voice is firm and fiery and it reminds him of the rose-coloured past and too bright sunshine and a giggling girl with unruly curls and dirt under her nails, who says with a voice too loud and an attitude too large,"Oh, Sev."

He doesn't know why Lily has come, why her husband has let her, or what they're even doing. All he knows is that he's right beside her in the car, and they're leaving the rest of the world behind. (Two-shot.)

More than Meets the Eye by lilybobily7

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: First problem: James Potter is Head Boy. Second problem: Why is he acting so different? The James Potter that Lily Evans knows is arrogant and conceited and loves Quidditch and bullying his “inferiors” with an unimaginable passion. This year he’s kind and charming and much more, shall we dare say it…mature. He is also much more distant than he has ever been in all her years at Hogwarts. In her seventh year, Lily finds out that there is much more to James Potter than meets the eye and together they set out on the long and precarious road to each other’s hearts.
