This is really excellent!
This is probably my favorite story of all the ones I've read on MNFF - pleae keep it up!
Author's Response: Thank you! I intend to keep it coming - all of CoS is written and I\'ve started on Book 3.
I really enjoyed this. It's a great perspective to tell a story from - I'd love to read more!
Excellent work!
I would very much like to read a longer, chaptered version of this. I think you did a good job of showing the weariness and pain that Hermione experienced.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I am currently outlining something longer. PLS add me to your faves and I will keep you updated.
Very nice!
I think setting it several months after Fred's death explains the relative lack of angst just fine. The only thing I'd question is everyone's surprise at George offering the job to Ron - with the situation you set up, I'd have guessed that the rest of the Weasleys would be wondering what took George to long to get around to asking.
Great job with the characterization. I really enjoyed this!
Author's Response: Thank you for the review!! I think that the Weasleys might have been a little shocked, because they didn\'t think that George would have been able to cope in the shop without Fred and they themselves weren\'t ready to move on yet. so yeah.
I'm intrigued. I'm not usually a big reader of Marauder-era stories, but this one really captured my interest.
I am very curious to see what their issue of Magical Moments looks like. I can only imagine the sort of reader questions Remus will be forced to tackle!
Author's Response: Wow, I'm flattened that you find the story interesting to read. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Watch out what the boys will be doing. lol
Barely sixteen years old and fearing for his mother's life, Draco stepped up in his father's absence to take his place amongst the Death Eaters. The following year at Hogwarts School was, without a doubt, the hardest he had ever endured. Now seventeen, the young Malfoy seeks to keep safe all he loves by doing the opposite, and taking the golden advice Albus Dumbledore had left him minutes before his death.
I just came across this story. It's really excellent, and I'll be looking forward to more!
I am very much not a Draco fan, and yet you've got me waiting to read more about him and from his perspective, and that's a challenge for me!
You've also kept him realistic - I can easily imagine the Draco you've written emerging from the events of HBP.
Fantastic work!
Author's Response:
Thank you for your kind review! :D I'm glad to hear that my story got you more interested in Draco and his point of view, at least a little bit. I love hearing when readers feel my versions of the characters are kept in canon, or close to it. It's really encouraging. :)
I'll be updating soon. I've got a really intense chapter in progress!
