'Lo, all! I'm Liz. You can call me Dreameth, though. Whichever floats your boat. Glad you stopped by so I can waste your tim- Er, tell you a bit about myself.

I love Harry Potter (obviously, or I wouldn't be here.) I also love writing (again, rather obviously) and reading (not quite as obvious, but if you didn't have that figured out yet...)

I'm a big Monty Python fan. I also love the Princess Bride (movie and book) Eragon (NOT the movie... -shudder-), LOTR, and Dianna Wynne Jones. I also like free time, ice cream, computers, and Christmas.

I love classic rock, especially the Traveling Wilburys. My favorites are probably Handle with Care, End of the Line, Heading For the Light, Inside Out, Dirty World, Last Night… All of them, pretty much, but especially those first three. The Beatles are pretty good too (Not as good as TW, though. So sue me.) They just don't make music like that anymore…

I also love classic movies (sometimes I wonder if I was born in the right generation…). My dad's going through this classic movies spree. He got a book on the best classics, and we're watching all of them. Singing In the Rain, Meet Me in St Louis, Bringing Up Baby, North by Northwest… I love Cary Grant *sigh*

Harry Potter-wise, my favorite charrie is James. All of the Marauders, really, even Peter, though I do want to strangle him sometimes. A lot of times, actually. I also love Ginny, Filch, and Lord Voldemort. My favorite book is the fifth, although I loved the seventh. The rest, in order, are 3, 6, 4, 2, and 1.

I've only gotten one poem up so far. It's called Alone: The Memories of RJL. R&R please, it's very encouraging, really. I'm working on a couple of other things, but I've written descriptions of dead WIPs and I'm tired of putting them up and taking them down again, so they'll get submitted if they're finished, and if I get bored of them I won't.

That's just about it. Check out my Favorites, they're all fantastic. I'm sure the authors love reviews as much as I do, and they probably deserve them a lot more.

[i'm dean thomas]

...and which lesser Harry Potter character are you?

Now go away, or I shall taunt you a second time!

Do Be My Enemy for Friendship's Sake by ByMerlinsBeard

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

Laura has been a good friend to Percy for seven years. She took his side during a fight between Percy and Oliver their second year. She accepted Percy the way he was, something most of his brothers couldn't even do. And when the one brother who did understand Percy died, Laura was there to help Percy through it, even though the death hurt her greatly as well.

Yes, Laura has been a good friend to Percy. So why, during their seventh year, is Percy allowing his friend to be lonely and miserable?

A fellow Gryffindor decides to try to ease Laura's loneliness by interfering in her life. The result is that Laura must suddenly deal with new relationships, including an unlikely reconciliation with Oliver.

Laura succeeded in being a good friend when she only had one friend. Now she must learn how to be a good friend to several people... including herself. Oliver/OC

Complete!

Congratz on being runner up in the QSQ Awards! If I had decided, you would have been first... then again, I've never read the other one. It's a fantastic story, by the way. I llloooooovvvveeeeddddd it. Twas fantastic!

Author's Response: Thanks very much, Dreameth. I\'ve never read Sins of the Father, either, but I\'ve heard it\'s excellent. Definitely didn\'t hurt my pride to come in second to it. :-)

The Mystery of the Lightning Bond by electronicquillster

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: As Andrea Benning starts her fifth year at Hogwarts alongside The Trio, she has her own daily things to deal with, like a life-altering secret, studying, orchestrating Operation Sophie-Roderick Romance and a crush of her own. When one attends Hogwarts, one can hardly expect things to go as planned.

Fred and George Weasley are really only returning to Hogwarts for the priceless market research, but will there be time for other things as well?

As friendships and romances develop, the students at Hogwarts will also have to deal with the second rise of the evil Lord Voldemort and the terrible toad of a Defense professor - Umbridge.

Wow! It's really good so far. Keep writing. Soon. Please.

The Fred/Andrea bits were a bit mushy for my liking, but maybe that's just me. I'm loving the UFFC, and the whole Fred thing, though.

And I want to know what the lightning bond is, too. So KEEP WRITING.

Harry Potter, the Half-Blood Prince and Mary-Sue by Valentinia

This story is fantastic! I especially loved this chapter. It was my favorite so far. Before that, it was when Voldy got glasses... He rawks in this story. So do you. You're my second favorite charrie...

Suggestions: You probably don't need any, a'cauz it's fantastic already, but you might consider someone getting incurable hiccups.

Author's Response: In...curable.....................o_o WHY DIDN\'T I THINK OF THAT?!

The E-Journal of an Evil Janitor by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's the sequel to "The Dark Lord's Blog," guys! (And girls... and, I don't know, gender-neutral people and centaurs and walruses and parameciums and shrubs and stuff.)

Several months have passed since Filch came into possession of Voldemort's magical powers, and he has taken over Hogwarts.

With Filch serving as The Dark Lord Snoogerblossom, the position of Hogwarts caretaker/janitor is open. Seeing as Voldemort wants his magical powers back, he and his extremely attractive new sidekick, Mungo Phelps, go undercover at Hogwarts, with Mungo posing as a transfer student and Voldemort posing as the new janitor. Wacky high-jinks ensue.

Join Voldemort as he tries to get back his magic, kill Harry Potter, steal Gryffindor's sword to make a shiny new Horcrux, romance Minerva McGonagall, discover Sirius's secret to becoming a chick magnet, and swallow a teaspoon of his pride to mop up spills the Muggle way and wear an unflattering uniform! WARNING: Extremely silly and very out-of-character.

If you haven't read "The Dark Lord's Blog," well, what are you doing? GO READ IT NOW! Just click on my author name and you'll be directed to my chaotic author page, which lists all my wacky stories.

This is on hiatus, dudes. Ooh! But it was twice nominated by nice (and insane) people for the Best Humour Fic award in the Quicksilver Quills thingy!

Also, some wonderful loony nominated Mungo Phelps for Best Male OC, making him if possible even more conceited! (No one had the heart to tell Mungo that he was designed as an example of a terrible OC.)

EXCITING NEWS! "The E-Journal of an Evil Janitor" is now continued as a Twitter blog! Go to Twitter dot com and find thedarklord666. Voldy's waiting!

It's great! It's a bit more plotted and less blogish than the first one, but I still love it. Keep working on it!

PS You got the jelly song from rathergood.com stuck in my head. E-crucios.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, this one has a lot more plot... I didn\'t want to write it in blog format, but I tried, and I don\'t think it\'s really working.
Sorry about the Jelly Song... I like to sing it in the closest impersonation of the freaky owl that I can do. (Love the random masked/lampshade wearing people in the background.)

The Cause by Pussycat123

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Marty Price works for The Cause, which involves several campaigns and petitions on a weekly basis. It has become common knowledge within Hogwarts that if you see her coming towards you with a clipboard, you should turn and walk the other way. Or perhaps deny all grasp of the English language. And if this isn’t eccentric enough, there’s also her obsessive written observations of four boys in her year, which will one day make a rather interesting book ...

Remus Lupin, meanwhile, has always been a little different, too. Poor, sweet Remus Lupin is, to the casual observer, the picture of a sensible, hard working student. However, he has three friends who have done more for him than anyone knows and they have done this because of his troubled past, troubled present and troubled future. Why the gloominess? Because Remus Lupin just so happens to be a werewolf.

So what could these two possibly have in common? And how can their stories possibly connect?

Runner-up for the 2008 Best Marauder Era QSQ.

And I thought the last chapter was my favorite... I can see how you had fun with it. “Secrets, Lies and Deceit: The True Story of Four Hypocritical and Scum-filled Tyrants, and How Their Black Hearts of Evil Lead Eventually to Their Celebrated and Timely Demise”. I'm going to be snorting randomly for the rest of the day. I loved the Luanne bit, and the poem, and the musical, and... everything else. Keep it up, can't wait for the next chapter, update soon, etc. I LOVE it!

Author's Response: Thank you! The next chapter is already in the queue, so hopefully you\'ll be able to love that pretty soon, too ... and I\'m really glad you enjoyed this one!

Author's Response: Thanks! I\'ll definitely try!

Wow. GREAT story! I loved it *huggles story* You might have added a bit more about Peter, though. He might even have shown up. Otherwise it was fantastic. I loved the end, with the 'real Marauders'. Great job.

Author's Response: I know, I used to hate Peter back when I wrote this story but now I don\'t mind writing him. It\'s almost like writing an OC- we hardly know anything about him. Thanks for the review!
