Don't Tell! by butter_beer_drinker

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

Draco is apprehended by members of the Order and held for questioning. While Harry and Ron search for Horcruxes, Hermione has to stay behind and is asked to tend to their ‘guest’. After two months of confinement, a beaten down Draco and a frustrated Hermione start a tentative friendship, based entirely on loneliness. Draco is set free after agreeing to help the Order, but when Harry and Hermione are captured by Death Eaters, he has to decide whom he will betray, his master, or the girl he can’t stop thinking about.

I have made a few minor changes to chapter 9, I changed the direction of the end of the story so it was neccassary.  Chapter 10 is in the que now.

"Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."

I enjoyed this chapter. It was really good how you put in the orphanage and the 'it'. But the creepy thing is that when I got the email for the update, I was reading your 'The Flower Collector' story (look for a review there too!)

I love your writing, and i hope you keep it up!

Episkey by Elmindreda

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A quiet evening is about to turn considerably less so, as Severus Snape has a visitor he could not pretend to have not expected, and would never admit to have dreaded...

Oh. My. God. That was brilliant, you captured how Snape would think and say to Harry should he follow Snape and try to take revenge. I love the twists that this fic might be taking...
I love it!!

Author's Response: *blush* Looking back now, I realize that it was really unexpected, actually, how I simply found myself in Severus\' head... I feel like a ghostwriter most of the time with him.

Oh my gosh! The twist and the turns of the World of Potter! I'm shocked.

Author's Response: Shocked? Well, I guess this chapter indeed has some shock value. I can honestly say some points of it surprised even me. :)

That last line! I love it! I truly did enjoy this fic and believe that you did a fantastic job at writing it...I say Brava!

Author's Response: Thank you very much, Jade. I hope that the fic was at least half as enjoyable to read as it was to write. It was my honor to relay the story. *bows*

I'll Never Let Go by bubblegumpinkhair

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Hermione decides that she's done with Ron and his constant want to pick fights with her. Not thinking that things could get any worse, Ron tells her how he really feels. Cute little One Shot form Ron's POV. Definitely a little fluffy.

Excerpt:

Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth to say something. When nothing came out, I removed my hand from her chin, and I felt my face flushing scarlet again.

How could I have been so stupid?

“I understand,” I heard myself saying, but deep down I knew I never would.

I liked it. It's nice to hear from Ron's pov every now and again. Plus, it was soooo sweet! You did a really good job.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! And just a little fun fact, I just reviewed your story like two seconds ago *cue creepy music*

A Letter For Fred by PadfootnPeeves

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: George is feeling depressed after his brother's death. Molly suggests to write out his feelings- but how will that turn out? A rather sentimental poem from George to Fred.

And if you still haven't read DH, well, prepare to be shocked.

I loved it.

Author's Response: Why, thanks! And I loved your review ^_^

Pushit by MaiaMadness

Rated: Professors •
Summary:
“Saw that gap again today as you were begging me to stay. Managed to push myself away, and you as well, my dear. You still love me and you push it on me. And I’m slipping back into the gap again. I feel alive when you touch me. I feel alive when you hold me down. If, when I say I might fade like a sigh if I stay, you minimise my movement anyway, I must persuade you another way. Pushing and shoving and pushing me… There’s no love in fear!”

This wasn’t the way it was meant to be, staring at each other over pieces of broken glass, the air heavy with the echo of angry words and endless regret. This wasn’t how it was meant to be…

It was very interesting, I think Draco was a bit too desperate. Very good job though!

Destined Love by Seawitch

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Julietta Greyback journeys to Hogwarts in the dead of the night; with the sole intention of confronting Bill Weasley and his brothers about Fenrir Greyback's attack. However, she finds herself a little... distracted by the youngest son. And so begins a tale of love and hatred, life and death, where friendships are cemented and hearts broken.

Rating applies to later chapters, as do most of the warnings.

For me, the best inspirations come with Sour Patch Kids. But a net could work...

Author's Response: A net had better work, I can\'t think of any other way! And thanks for reviewing!

I could say something truly lame about how you need to call in the 'Exambusters' but I'm going to save you the torment of reading said lame post.
I liked this chapter because it delved deeper into the mental aspects of both Fenir and Ron. I really hope that you find inspiration at every turn in life.

Author's Response: Oh, thank you! That was a really nice review. \r\n(I\'m not so sure about finding inspiration... I\'ll probably try and catch it with a net - for some reason, it\'s avoiding me.)

I liked this chapter! It might not have had much action, but you get a look into all the brother's thoughts and how Julietta was affecting them. I'm curious to see what she has up her sleeves though.

Author's Response: Sorry for the lack of action, I\'m just trying to show how everyone is reacting. And be VERY worried about what Julietta has planned!

A Snowy Evening by kingbobrules

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Christmas is just around the corner, but with the war raging all around them, it seems that the festive spirit will be passing Harry and Ginny's love life by this year. But can a classic Weasley plan, an awkward dinner party, a frank conversation and some good old fashioned snow convince Harry to stop pushing Ginny away? And if he changes his mind… will he be able to let her go again?

The Christmas song 'Baby it's Cold Outside' (if anyone knows what I'm talking about or if that's the right name) would go perfectly with this. It was really good, the beginning did a pretty good description of what Ginny did feel about the whole 'Harry staying away from her for her own good' stuff.

Author's Response: Well, as I mentioned, in my A/N, this fic was written 4 a competition based on \'Baby it\'s Cold Outside\', so I\'m glad U spotted the connection! I\'m glad U enjoyed it, and apreciated the slant towards Ginny\'s POV.

Wake Up by coolh5000

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Every morning Ron arrives at the shop and wakes up George with a cup of tea. One morning, however, George doesn't wake up.

This started as a 500 word drabble for my DADA class and turned into a 2000 word one-shot instead, before becoming two chapters. The prompt for my drabble was to use an overdose so be warned that this fic is not a happy one. It is actually I lot darker than I really imagine the Weasley family being after the war, but this is what came out when I started writing and I think it is possible.

please note that the warning is for attempted suicide only

An epilogue has arrived and I promise that I have now finished, though I have found this interesting to write so I may carry on with this version of the Weasley family at some point

I loved this, I swear it was...amazing. I did cry a bit and I'm not afraid to admit it.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review and I\'m glad you liked it. I\'m sorry I made you cry - though it\'s good you\'ll admit it - I hope the fact that he woke up and will hopefull go on living makes you feel a bit better.

The Survivor by Lola-Louisa

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: It's a month after Voldemort's death and Harry is called to the Ministry of Magic by Kingsley.

There he is introduced to a young woman who was found at Malfoy Manor. Everyone thinks she's insane, but Harry knows better.

The girl has a story to tell, a story that will help Harry come to terms with the horrors of the last seven years.

But someone doesn't want the girl's story told. In fact, they will do anything to stop her talking.

Harry must save the girl, and save himself, before it's too late... Suicide warning for brief mention in chapter 4.

I'm curious as to who the strangers are, but I could see why Ron and Hermione think Harry is only doing this to redeem himself. I can't wait for the next chapter though! Let the light of expression always shine through.

Author's Response: I hope it does! Thank you so much!

I'm hooked. I can't wait for the next chapter! May dreams keep inspiring you wherever you may be...(such as in the middle of exams)

Author's Response: thanks!\r\nGot another one today, French A level resit. Unfortunately, it\'s listening, so if I do get another dream I\'m screwed haha.\r\nGlad you liked it x

The Slytherin Spy by Shy

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: This is a three part story. The first five chapters focus on a slash romance. The five next focus on a mystery around an OC. Part three is the epilogue.
Chapter one: The Marauders begin their sixth year at Hogwarts and Sirius is keeping a secret he doesn't know will change his life. But you can count on James to figure out what it is.

Date: 06/09/08 Title: Chapter 1: Sirius Kept a Secret

This is the first Remus/Sirius fic I've read and it's great! I love how you showed how the Marauders were concerned about Padfoot, and how you tied in the background given to us on how they each became Animagi. You did splendidly and I say to you Brava!

I can't wait until the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you, I really tried to write like JKR at first (then, I guess I got a little carried away, but you\'ll see). I wanted to stay true to canon in that way. It\'s great to finally share this fic with fans, you have no idea. Keep reading and tell me what you think.\r\nShy\r\nPS: \"bravo\" would be better as I\'m a guy... ; )
