What happens next?
Author's Response: Keep reading!
Ginny begins to say she doesn't have her wand, but then "but all of a sudden something burst from the end of her wand". Is this just the magic of the dream?
Author's Response: Yes, it\'s just the magic of the dream. If you\'ll read that again, you\'ll see that Ginny says, \"But I don\'t have my. . .\" and then all of a sudden she realizes her wand is in her hands. It\'s like one of those dreams where you feel like you\'re naked but everyone else seems to think you\'re dressed. Doesn\'t always make sense.
Oh, I love this! So funny.
But Hermione sounded a bit like Molly Weasley when she said "I'm all aflutter"...
Author's Response: Molly & Hermione actually have a good deal in common. And you\'ve heard that men always marry women who remind them of their mothers. . .
How old are Teddy and Victoire?
Author's Response: Teddy would be about 7 and Victoire 5 at this point in the story.
I have never read about Ginny being nick-named as Gin. Creative of you.
You've really captured Fred's character.
I can't stop reading this!
Author's Response: A lot of fanfics use that nickname. I\'m glad you like my version of Fred. I was a bit worried about capturing his essence, as it were.
Ah, we have progressed to "Gin-Gin". Cute and affectionate, but it sounds like something Harry might call her, not George, kind of like how Lavender Brown called Ron "Won-Won".
In the original books, Fred and George seemed to be almost the one character until George's ear got cut off. It is nice to see further distinction between their personalities.
Love the bit about the "callipygian". very creative and believable.
You tend to repeat the phrase: "build up a head of steam".
I hope you don't think I'm too harsh. That's just my honest opinion.
Author's Response: Actually, I think Ginny would clobber Harry if he called her \"Gin-Gin.\" And judging by his reaction to Lavender calling Ron Won-Won, it doesn\'t seem like something he would do. Gin-Gin seems like a childhood nickname to me, and only someone like George would ever dare use it as an adult. No, I don\'t think you\'re being too harsh. I appreciate the observation. I\'ll have to keep an eye on that one.
Interesting dream....does Rose actually look like that? I can't remember if her appearance was mentioned in The Deathly Hallows...
Author's Response: No, Jo never gave us a description of Rose. She never gave us a description of any NextGen characters except for Al, Lily, and Teddy as a baby. However, knowing what Ron & Hermione looked like, I applied Mendelian laws and came up with red, curly hair. Seemed to make sense.
Why does Ginny keep calling Harry "Potter"? Why doesn't she just call him "Harry"? It sounds like when Draco Malfoy and all of his teachers were addressing him... it just doesn't seem to fit right...
Author's Response: Oh, I think Ginny is just being a bit snarky with calling Harry \"Potter.\" Don\'t forget, Lily called James that when she was angry at him. It just strikes me as the kind of thing Ginny would do. The name Harry was always something she said with affection, so \"Potter\" would be the choice when she\'s annoyed. Remember even Hagrid called him \"Potter\" when he was mad at Harry in HBP, so Ginny can probably get away with it too.
Wow!! Dumbledore really sounds like Dumbledore!!
What happens next?? What happens next??!!!
Author's Response: Well, keep reading and you\'ll find out! Dumbledore is ridiculously difficult to write. He\'s so maddeningly vague, but nothing he says is insignificant, so he has to be managed carefully. You really have to read between the lines with Dumbledore, I always felt.
What happens next? What happens next??!!
Author's Response: Hang in there! You\'ll find out soon.
!!!!!!!!
Didn't see that last sentence coming...
I bet either Albus or Scorpius is this kid from the legend...
Narcissa Malfoy caught me off my guard. I knew it had to be her when Rookwood turned into Harry, Though...
So.
What happens next? Albus' dramatic birth?
Author's Response: Albus\'s dramatic birth is coming up, but there are a couple of detours before that happens. You\'ll know what those are when you read the next chapter.
Interesting. Veeery interesting.
Would like to read more about Andromeda. Sirius said she was his favourite cousin.
What happens next? :D
Author's Response: You\'ll learn a bit more about Andromeda in future chapters. I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it.
What comes next?
Author's Response: Draco and co. are now officially involved in this little prank war, and are planning some very Slytherin revenge.
This is soooo funny! Come on! Who's Hermione going to dare?!
Author's Response: All I can say is that the game is going to expand to include way more students than they planned!
What happens next? What happens next??!!!
Author's Response: Hermione will be livid with Ron of course, but only at first, because he's got ways of turning her frown into a smile. Snape is in for a drastic cosmetic change!
Not quite as funny as the last one, but still brilliant!
So. What happens next?
Author's Response: Thanks? In the next chapter, we\'ll see the beginning of some Slytherin deviousness and thoughts of revenge...
What happens next? What happens next?!
Oooohhh!!! Please write more soon!! :)
Author's Response: Don't you worry! I don't think this plot bunny's original mommy would allow me to leave her baby out in the cold.
What happens next?
Author's Response: If all goes well, you'll find out any day now in the new chapter! I had some Beta problems that severely stalled this long-awaited chapter. I know you won't be disappointed!
Argh! Please write more soon. You always cut off at the good bits....
Author's Response: Yay! Eighty reviews! :):) Lol, sorry about cutting off at cliff hangers. You are going to be so angry at me after chapter eight....
Anyway, thanks so much for the review. As a matter of fact, Chapter Seven is in the queue right at this moment and Chapter 8 is well on its way to being completed.
