Summary: It's baaaaaack...........

As the name implies, the ever-wacky, ever-evil Power Of Suggestion has returned to Hogwarts! What insanity will occur this time?

Note that this is a sequel (duh), so it's strongly advised to read the first part first. Just check my author page for a link!

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!

"So, really, we’re all men of our word, except for x_voldy_is_teh_hotness_x, who is, in fact, a woman.
"

care for a bit of rum?

Author's Response: Hahahaha! I was auditioning for Les Miserables yesterday, and we were all singing this song called "Master Of The HOuse" in the audition line (which takes place in a bar-- the song, not the audition line), and we were all pretending to be drunk and swig out of our water bottles. And I was pretending to be Captain Jack! ^_^

"It didn’t take him long to realise that he’d been set up. He tried to escape, but he tripped over Ron’s foot (knew those big feet of his would come in handy some day) and fell off a cliff. This was especially weird, since we were in the middle of a suburban shopping centre."

I knew this was coming since the A/N.

I loved the fic, and I hope to see the sequel!

Author's Response: Bahahaha, you clever child. But yeah, it should have been expected... I'm surprised less people did! There are two chapters up of the sequel, but I kinda lost inspiration and abandoned it. It's called "The E-Journal of an Evil Janitor," though.

Potter's Pentagon: The Five (Book One) by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: WARNING! This story contains a jingle-bell antler headband, a shower of potatoes, boy/girl mushiness, underwear karaoke, family trouble, an excessively adorable werewolf, death, the song "Werewolves of London," betrayal, and the word 'Jordan' five times in a row near the beginning of chapter seven.

Twenty-one years after Voldemort's defeat, five fourth-years are faced with a new threat. Will all of the five stay true to the light side? Will they all emerge whole in the end? Will Jordan Potter ever get a life? You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll gasp, you'll sigh! Part one in a trilogy!

Well, after much deliberation and consideration, I've decided to submit my future-gen trilogy! This particular installment is three years old, so it's definitely different from my current writing style, but I'm quite fond of the characters.

DH is disregarded. It's a total coincidence that one of the main characters is named Ted Lupin.

Starring Quicksilver Quills 2008 Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, and Emma Weasley, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin!

Five times nominated (once for each member of Potter's Pentagon!) for the Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards, and nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards...

I like Jordan the best. I don't know why, but he's the koolest (not 'coolest').

I dub these the sequel to the HP (Harry Potter, not computers) book series. Looking forward to the completion of Book 3

I also have something to ask you, but I dont want to get yelled at by MNFF for advertising other sites, so if I had another way to contact you, it would be awesome.

Author's Response: Honestly, I like Jordan the best, too! He's so dorky and not at all cool, but he's proud of it. The trilogy is really about Jordan and his growth as a person, so I'm glad you like him. Hey, you can email me at the 'contact author link'. I got your llama song email-- I didn't reply because I didn't really know what to say (so I'll respond now with, 'YAAAY! I love that song, and it totally does sound like a drunk guy who drank all the helium from a ballloon and mysteriously acquired a middle-eastern accent. And I'm so glad you like my stories!)

Long-Distance Extendable Ears by Schmerg_The_Impaler

But that's just the beginning! Because one of George's ears is up in heaven, and the other is down on earth...

I found my favorite line!

" “Mum, I promise I won’t get in a sword fight with anyone with a peg leg and an octopus beard. And I’ll hardly ever fire the cannon at anyone, and I’ll try not to get marooned on a rum-filled island.” "

Drink up me hearties YO HO!
::cool theme music::

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I went on Pirates of the Caribbean three times, and I LOVE the Captain Jacks that they added in.

you know.....you could like, so totally copyright that with a few minor changes, and turn it into a book, or a movie, or a ...a....a something......my point is that there is some talent in that brain of yours, and you should use it to its fullest potential.............

Author's Response: Hehehehe, I actually thought of that... but the problem is, the whole story plays on the fact that they invented Extendable Ears and George had lost an ear. It would just be weird with original characters, because this is a strange enough premise as is! But I have to admit, I like the concept...

Potter's Pentagon: The Truth (Book Two) by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is book two in the "Potter's Pentagon" trilogy. Read "Potter's Pentagon: The Five" first, myesss? Cool.

WARNING: This story contains French people, an internal monologue about a blue orange, adolescent facial hair, good old-fashioned snogging, superstitious truck drivers, a portrait who calls everyone "Mavis," a zoo break-in, some very strange clothes, romantic conflict galore, and Ron Weasley's caffeine addiction. And worst of all, Professor Zabini!

Hogwarts is hosting the Triwizard Tournament, and when one of the members of Potter's Pentagon is selected to represent the school, much excitement ensues. Simultaneously, elections are being held for Minister of Magic, and things are getting busy at the Ministry.

Not to mention the fact that Jordan's made a new Muggle friend without informing her of the itty-bitty fact that he's magical, Haley has found an enchanted diary of dubious origin, Ted's met a werewolf from Beauxbatons, and Emma... well, Emma's not having a good year.

And what exactly is Ivy up to, anyway?

Everyone has secrets. But in the end, the truth will have to come out.

Starring Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character Nominees Ivy Potter, Emma Weasley, Haley Potter, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards!

' “That’s not the problem,” Ivy informed them, lying back down on her bed. “I think he’s got his eye on a Beauxbatons girl.”

There was an awkward silence.

“Oh.”

“Oh.” '

That is why I could never be a writer. I believe too much in happy endings to do something like that. Things like that drive me nuts (not a very far drive, mind.).

Author's Response: Hey, I believe in happy endings, too. I just make a lot of complications along the way... the path to happiness can be rocky! My endings are generally pretty happy, though! That said, read on!

I kew both of the surprises (well, I knew Apple was up to SOMETHING, cause if he wasn't, This would be the last chapter.). You probably don't believe me, but I knew Apple was too good to be true.

THE ONLY reason I knew about Ivy was the Marauders/Maraudettes' similarities. I half expected the others to become animagi too.

Author's Response: Congrats for guessing! Yeah, Apple was supposed to seem a little suspicious, but... well, I don't think anyone guessed his TRUE aim, which you will find out in a few chapters. It's awesome that you guessed about Ivy-- you're really observant! I don't think Emma or Haley would really want to put in that much work, though, and I think becoming an Animagus was, for Ivy, a personal thing, a way to get closer to Ted. I don't think Emma and Haley would want to infringe on that.

....I have to say, you have a serious talent. I hold your story to high standards. I am favoriteing (sp) all the stories in the trilogy, and heartily recomending them to my friend (the one who is helping me with the archive), and she is even coming to MNFF to read them (something she will stubbornly refuse to do for ANYTHING). I cannot wait for the last Potters Pentagon story to be finished, and I kow it will be as good as the first two.

I lament that it is only a trilogy, but I understand both that it is VERY hard to come up wth inspiration, and turn it into something wonderful, and that f there were more than three, than these ones wouldn't seem all that great.

You already know who my favorite characterer is, though I like all of the 'Five plus Five' very well. And my least favorit character HAD to be Apple. As for which one I relate to, I would have to say I have a lot of the qualities from each of the Pentagon. I have Jordan's smarts, Haley's....well, Haley-ness, Ivy's shyness, and Ted's people skills (at times).

As I've said coutless times, wonderful story.

Now that I have broken the world record for longest review, I must depart. I hope you have time for my offer. (And as a side note, I had no idea about Lee.)

Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much! I'm sooo glad that you like these. And although this is only a trilogy, there are spin-offs. "Pride and Pre-Juiced Plums" is a spinoff from Emma's point of view. And I may write a prequel that takes place in first year and a story that takes place when the Pentagon are grown up with kids.

It's so cool that you can relate to all of the characters. I kind of hoped to create characters that people can relate to. And I'm glad that you didn't guess about Lee! Thanks for your reviews!

Potter's Pentagon: The Past (Book Three) by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The final installment in the Potter’s Pentagon Trilogy. Read “The Five” and “The Truth” first, myess? Okay!

WARNING! Contains Muggle adventures in Diagon Alley, unusual eyebrows, cheesy clichés galore, psycho Ted, the not-so-lost years of Merlin, a school-wide singalong, the old potato joke, Tyrone’s Princess Bride obsession, Emma’s stubborn denial of the existence of Tyrone’s mustache, a graphic death, a joke shop product as a major plot device, hobo Jordan, Jordan hugging, Jordan pulling pranks, time travel, the Love Shack, angst, and worst of all, Professor Zabini.

It’s the sixth year for Potter’s Pentagon and company, and our heroes learn that in the wizarding world, coming of age has a somewhat weightier significance. Students are busy with an Inter-House Unity Project, Jordan is having weird dreams, Pansy and Ophidias Malfoy have been released from Azkaban, Professor Zabini has a mysterious project of his own, and almost everyone is acting strangely. Meanwhile, at the Ministry of Magic, a man with a vendetta against Ron Weasley is trying his hardest to get him in the biggest trouble possible. Is the only way to save him to travel into the past?

New talents are discovered, new friendships form and old ones change, pasts are dredged up, and, of course, there’s lots of good old-fashioned snogging. And one of the five kills for the first time… while another becomes a casualty of war.
