Wow. I love this story

You definitely got into to character's heads and portrayed them perfectly.

The way you described Remus's death made me cry.

The last line was the perfect ending and I now have a new appreciation of those words.

The only thing that I think would improve it was if you could expand on the Prongs section.

I felt it was too short compared to the other sections, not quite enough time to fully connect with his character.

But that could just be me ;)

I really enjoyed that :) I loved the Greek Goddess jokes.

Might I just point out that you mentioned Professor Quirrel - from what I could gather (and correct me if i'm wrong), your character is a first year in the year below the Trio? That would mean that she had never been taught by Quirrel, would she actually remember jokes made about a teacher she had never met?

Also I think that the quote "A true friend is one who thinks you are a good egg even if you are half cracked." was by Bernard Meltzer.

Can't wait to read more :)

Author's Response: Thank you. Yes, I had fun picking at Persephone's name. Actually, Persephone and Valiant are IN Harry's year, not a year below them. I figured this would be clear since their roommates, Tracey Davis and Daphne Greengrass are their roommates. They are both "canon" and are both in Harry's year. So, that would make Quirrel their current DADA professor. So, yes, she would get the joke. And is the quote by Bernard Meltzer? The place I got it from had it as anonymous, but I'll definitely get around to changing that if it was him. Thanks for the review. Part 2 should be coming soon!

But it is as if they are looking through a veil, thinking through a veil. There’s a truth in the undercurrent of this unnatural flow of life in the Light, one that can’t seem to get past anyone’s mind. After all, the Light plays tricks, too.
