*As of 2020 I've moved Snowflakes over to AO3!

And on the off chance that anyone is reading this bio- I'm writing a sequel to Snowflakes over on AO3 as well :)

Hello everyone! My name is Dylan and I am 16 years old. And for the record... I am a girl. Some people get confused... Dylan is usually a boy's name... Anyway. Some things about me:

- I have read Harry Potter more times than I can count
- I went to the midnight release of the 6th movie and to both parts of 7
- I love musicals, but suck at singing
- My friends and I make movies... a lot
- I have a pet bunny
- I am going to be a junior
- I am obsessed with Tiny Wings
- I love my HP soundtracks
- There is a picture of a door on my door
- I watch The Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, Community, Parks and Rec, Gossip Girl, The Newsroom, and Doctor Who
- I always dress up as a Gryffindor for Halloween
- I'm sorta addicted to youtube
- The Vlogbrothers are my heroes
- My favorite band is Fountains of Wayne
- I love British Television like The Inbetweeners, Sherlock, and The Office (UK)
- Currently, my favorite non HP movie is V For Vendetta
- I'm very interested in films and I want to be a film major in college
- I write mostly James/Lily, but I want to try some other genres

I am completely obsessed with Harry Potter.

Right now, I am working on two chaptered fics-

Snowflakes:
Lily and her muggle friends go to a ski resort over summer holiday and James turns up with Sirius Black. They have some good fun and run from some Death Eaters and get up to shenanigans ;)

The Marauder's Map to a Gryffindor's Heart:
I started this a while ago, so it really isn't the best piece of writing... but I do like the story, so I will probably continue. Ten chapters have been written (from about three years ago) so I hope to edit them and hopefully get them on this site! This one basically follows the Marauders through their years at school. Don't expect much character development, since I wrote this when I was about twelve. At least until I get past the first ten chapters :P

Then there's a one-shot!

The Sorting Hat Put Me in Slytherin:
This one shows what might have happened if Harry had become friends with Malfoy... *shutters* It has a lot more to do with Harry's character and all that deep stuff. Enjoy :D

Plot bunnies:
1. A second Generation story about Lily Luna Potter's Hogwarts experience and her unexpected friend, Scorpius Malfoy.
2. A tale about Dobby's life
3. A fic about Merope Gaunt and how she fell in love with Tom Riddle
4. A story about Seamus' mother and how she grew up in a muggle home as an adopted servant girl and after going to Hogwarts, falls in love with a Muggle

I always love getting reviews! (but then again, don't we all?) Well, I think that's all I have to say!
Cheers :]

You Told Me Once, Dear by MagEd

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Her voice is firm and fiery and it reminds him of the rose-coloured past and too bright sunshine and a giggling girl with unruly curls and dirt under her nails, who says with a voice too loud and an attitude too large,"Oh, Sev."

He doesn't know why Lily has come, why her husband has let her, or what they're even doing. All he knows is that he's right beside her in the car, and they're leaving the rest of the world behind. (Two-shot.)

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you think so :)

Slytherin Boy by XxCourtneyxCeexX

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Well, basically in the first and second chapter it is describing what happened in Voldemort’s downfall.. but obviously in a different version as Harry Potters parents live.. and that is another thing I need to explain, Harry Potter is not the chosen one in my story, Neville Longbottom is..
The title explains it all for Harry and I am sure as you carry on reading it will explain everything and I am sure you will understand it!
So.. ENJOY =D

So, Neville's dead, his parents are alive, and the Potters aren't in the picture yet? Interesting idea... I've actually written a one-shot where Harry is in Slytherin, myself. I'm curious to see how you pull this off. Also, you may want to look back at your second to last paragraph- the commas are kind of over done and its a bit of a run-on sentence. And one more nit-pick: your dialogue is a bit formal. For instance, try "can't" instead of "cannot" to make it a bit more believable. Good luck with this story!

Author's Response: Yep, Neville is indeed dead and his parent's are alive =] But see, just wait till the next chapterand it will be a tad more explained.. I know that the story is about Harry being put into Slytherin but I felt like I had to add these first to chapters in =] And thanks.. I will try and sort that a litte Thanks for reading and reviewing though ~Courtney~

That was really good! I think Hugo's was my favorite. You did an excellent job with all the different characters and all of their personalities. I hope you do more of these! I would love to see some other characters! Anyway, I absolutely loved this!

Author's Response: Thanks! Hugo's was probably one of my favorites to write, so I'm glad you liked it! :)

Wow! That was great! I really like these little "character studies" as you call them. They're witty and emotional and wonderfully written. I really like Harry's part. I thought it was really in in character and perfect for him. Can't wait for the next one!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! "Character study" might not be the right term, but I can't think of anything better -- and it's starting to grow on me ;) I'm glad you liked this and enjoyed Harry's part; his was actually the one I had the most trouble writing, as odd as that might be.

Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda by miss ginny1

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: We all know the real of what happened to our poor friend Harry Potter- The evil Lord Voldemort killed his young parents and forced him to spend several miserable years with his Muggle family, the Dursleys. But what if Lord Voldemort had never exsisted? What if Lily and James hadn't perished, but lived to see their only son grow up to be the man he is today? Whould Harry still be friends with Ron and Hermione? Whould Draco Malfoy still be an annoying Slytherin git?... Don't answer that. This, my friends, is the story of what should have, could have, and would have happened to the messy-haired hero we've all come to love- Harry Potter.

Hello! I really like this story so far! Sirius is great, James and Lily are cute together, and it all seems so lovely! It's interesting to see what things might have been like if Harry still had his parents. I know the letter at the end pretty much sums up that Harry was in Gryffindor, but what about Ron? What about Neville? I'm assuming the Longbottoms would be a complete family, so has Neville changed at all? I'm excited to read about Draco and I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter! Keep writing!!

Author's Response: Oh my gosh! You don't even know how cool I think it is that you read my story and wrote a review! Like really, and I'm not just being cheesy! You're, like, one of my favorite authors on MuggleNet FanFiction, and I think it's really cool of you to read my story! I think it's cool of anyone to read my story, but I think everyone knows that by now. :-) Anyway, thanks bunches! I think everyone knows by now that I'm like in love with the characters of James and Sirius, and my friends tell me I'm a little bit like Lily (mostly Ginny, though), so she was easy to write about. As for Ron, well, I can tell you write now he's not as insecure around Harry as he was in the books, because... well, Harry's not the Chosen One, or The Boy Who Lived, or anything like that. He still likes Hermione, of course, that's kind of unavoidable. And I wasn't even thinking about Neville when I started this story, so I'm glad you brought him up. You know, yeah, I guess he has a complete family and he's not as insecure and awkward as he is in the books since he never had to deal with his parents being tortured to insanity. Also, my best friend Michaela -with whom I share an account with, so you can read her story on our bio- is like, in love with Draco, so I'm definitely going to ask her to help me out with him! Thanks again for the review, and I hope you'll stick with the rest of the story because one, I'm hopelessy slow and lazy and two, it's gonna be AWESOME! P.S. I've had WAY too much sugar today!

Changing Faces by coolh5000

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Hermione knows Draco Malfoy - he is arrogant, mean and has been nothing but hurtful towards her ever since the first time they met. Called to testify at his trial, however, she sees something other than hatred in the face of her old nemesis and begins to wonder if there is something she has been missing all along.

Date: 01/30/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Wow that was really good! I loved all the description and how there was hardly any dialogue. It really worked well with the flow of the story. And it is definitely interesting to see Hermione grasping for every little bit of hope like she did at the end. I especially enjoy how you ended it sort of up in the air, like anything was possible. Thanks for writing this!

The Third Option by SaladOrCellarDoor

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Peter Pettigrew has fallen hard for a girl. The only trouble is, she's not his usual type...or any guy's usual type, for that matter...

Aw, that was cute =] I really liked Remus' characterization and the way Peter is really cool and sweet. So much different than the wormtail that he is in the books. Good job, I really liked it!

Date: 06/29/10 Title: Chapter 1: Prologue: Not Gryffindor

Whoa. I actually had a gasp moment when I read your summery, so I just had to see what it was all about! Wow, Lily is really brave, I definitely wouldn't be able to do that! But how will she get along in Slytherin? Will she have any friends? I'm really excited to see how this story turns out!

Author's Response: Hahaha GOOD! :) It's so awesome to hear that my summary is drawing readers in. They're not always my strong point--I usually just use a quote from my story! I know, if I were Lily, I'd definitely just agree and say, "Yup, Gryffindor is fine with me!" She's definitely going to struggle this year. People in Slytherin don't necessarily like the Potters, and people in the other houses are not going to like her because *they* didn't hear her conversation with the hat, so everyone just thinks she's...well, evil. Haha I feel bad for her brothers, too, who also won't have an easy year. It should mean some pretty interesting chapters in the future, though! So excited that you're interested! Many thanks for the review.

I like him. I think he likes me.

I guess it isn't that simple.

James Sirius Potter is trying desperately to snag the girl of his dreams…but she doesn’t even know how he feels about her. She’s not giving him anything to work with! And besides, she’s a Ravenclaw; he’s not smart enough for her…

Molly Woodruff has had her eye on James Potter since they’d met. Now, three years later, she was very ready and willing to be his girlfriend. The boy must be blind to not see her staring at him!

Insanity ensues…because really, if a Potter is involved, it can’t be smooth sailing.

This was really cute! Usually, you read fics where the guy likes the girl but the girl doesn't like the guy (or vise versa). It should be interesting to read about them both liking each other! Update soon, this is a rally good start and I'm excited to find out what happens next! =]

Author's Response: Chapter two is already being betaed :) thanks for the review!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! Thanks to all this positive feedback, I have submitted a story of a similar style, Potters Go For Redheads, which will hopefully be accepted soon! It's about Lily and James watching Harry and Ginny kiss for the first time. Look out for it! ~Midnight Storm

That was so lovely! It's strange, I don't think I've ever read a story where James and Lily don't get married right out of Hogwarts. I think it worked really well and was definitely believable. Great story, it was sweet and wonderful! Keep it up :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm sort of fascinated by the idea of James and Lily breaking up and getting back together later. I'm contemplating a chaptered fic about it. This was a fun way to explore that idea, and I'm glad it was believable! And I'm glad you enjoyed it - thank you so much for reading it and for the wonderful review! ~Gina :)
