Hello! I'm Alyssa. I joined this site just after I turned thirteen and I'm still here. Well, I'm here off and on.

Mugglenet is where I read my first fanfic, and it's where I tried submitting my first story. I met some of my best friends here.

This is just a great place.

I don't write very often, and when I do it's short. That'll never change, so never expect anything more than a one shot from me.

To anyone who has given me a review, thank you very much!

My first ever one-shot is Home, and my second is Talking in the Ministry. I don't think they are very good, so read at your own caution.

My stories:

Two is Better Than One - Harry/Hermione
Regret - Dark/Angsty (Molly's POV)
Home - Harry/Ginny
That One Detention - Other Pairing (Rosmerta/OC)
Your Time - Marauder Era (Lily's POV)
True Happiness - Dark/Angsty
Love Reign O're Me - Marauder Era (Remus's POV)
I Get By - Same-Sex Pairing (Crabbe/Goyle)
On my Own - Dark/Angsty (Sirius's POV)
Birthday Surprises - General
What Would You Do? - James/Lily ~ Won QSQ for best Canon Romance
Over and Over - Dark/Angsty (James's POV)
Talking in the Ministry - General

My poems:

Awaiting - A poem about the Final Battle.
Light My Fire - A Dolores/Fudge poem.
Character Haikus - Haikus about HP characters.
The One for Me - James's POV about Lily.
Father - A peom about Harry dying.
Madness - A poem about Azkaban.

I aboslutly love this story. It's amazing. That's exactly what I thought was going through His mind when Sirius left. You did an amazing job on this story.

I really love this story. I love hoe you made Regulus and Sirius. Regulus is my faveroite character and I love him. I like how you made the problems at hom and when the were talking by the lake. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! :)

I absolutly love this whole story. You should do more Regulus storys. You are amazing at writing him. You do his emotions perfictally in my opinion. It's like he keeps it bottled up but Sirius can understand him. I can't describe it, but you do it amazingly.

I like how you go through different times of his life. What you wrote for what he thought about when he drank the liquid stuff to get the Horcrux was what I thought he was thinking about. It was cool to read it.

Author's Response: Wow. Thank you very much for enjoying this story :) I'll definitely write more Regulus in the future. - Cassie

I forgot to mention in the last review how much I like how you did Voldemort. You don't make him sound all power hungary like other people do. It's really good.

Dead and Gone by Karaley Dargen, padfootsgirl1981

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After the First War, wizards and witches everywhere were celebrating. But there were still losses, and deaths to be mourned; and in the end, there were more similarities between the good and the bad guys than one might like to think.

Molly Weasley had two brothers, who fought Voldemort and paid with their lives. She always thought that all what happened was horrible, but she never thought it would happen to her own family. And now, people everywhere are celebrating, and hardly anyone thinks of all the heroes that died anymore.

Avery was a Death Eater. He watched many people suffer and die, and never cared - until his friends die for Voldemort’s cause. And now, people everywhere are celebrating, and no one thinks of all the brave and good men the other side had lost.

This is padfootsgirl1981 of Hufflepuff and Karaley Dargen of Gryffindor submitting for the Interhouse Co-Op Challenge in the Great Hall.

Moments by ahattab33

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Have you ever thought about those moments that really defined your life? The ones that were pivotal, life-altering? They can be as obvious as your wedding day, as defining as the birth of your child...or as small as a moment in time, as subtle as a glance between one person and another.

The greatest moments of our lives can sometimes be the shortest and simplest of them all.

A missing moment from the Half-Blood Prince and part of the "Moments" series.

I really really like this story. It's super cute. It was good to read them doing stuff like this because it doesn't happen in the book. I also like how you did it in 2nd person. I haven't read a story like that.

Author's Response: I feel the same way, I wish we could have seen more interaction in the books as well. :) Thank you so much for reading and for the lovely review!

Date: 07/05/09 Title: Chapter 1: Prologue: Mess It All Up

I feel bad for Rachel. She doesn't deserve that. I also feel bad for Regulus. He has to choose between his family and his girlfriend. I don't know where all of this pity is comming from, but I feel it. I really want to see what happens next.

Author's Response: Yes, Regulus was in such a difficult position with that. Does he continue to just date her, even though he's fully aware it's dangerous since his family doesn't approve, or does he do the 'noble' thing? And the next chapter is up, so you DO get to start seeing what happens next. Thanks for the review!

Letters From Hogwarts by mudbloodproud

Summary: In Britain, there are two birthdays that are waited for with bated breath by witches and wizards alike. The first is turning eleven. This birthday brings an owl bearing a letter to Hogwarts.

For some, getting their letter does not go as planned. In this series, you will discover the day several witches and wizards received their letter and why it wasn’t just a normal day.

I wish to thank my beta, Alyssa (harry4lif).

I do not own anything your recognise in this story. It all belongs to J.K. Rowling. I am just thankful to be able to play in her world for a little while.

Within the Lion's Heart by FannyPrice

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Regulus turned his back on the scarlet and gold lion every time he entered the Great Hall. He avoided looking at it, as it was a painful reminder of both the star he was named for and the brother he no longer spoke to . . .If choices make us who we truly are, then he, Regulus Alphard Black, had certainly chosen wrong.? As your about to die, what do you request? What do you regret? What do you remember? One-shot.
Reviewer: ron lover Signed

I have to say that I love this story. It's an amazing Regulus story. The last two paragraphs made me sad. I wish that Sirius would understand that Regulus died to help bring down Voldemort.

I like how this one shot goes through different points in his life. It was fun to read it like that. It also made me sad that Sirius said that he would always be there for him and he wasn't. I could totally see Sirius doing that.

I really do love this one shot. It is one of my faveorite Regulus storys.

Author's Response: Thank you very much. That was a very kind review, and I am glad you enjoyed my take on Regulus. I really enjoyed writing it.

The Summer of 1914 by MorganRay

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:
“We never thought that any of this would change; we never thought of change at all. But we were the last generation of the Old South; that spring in the early fifties was our summer of 1914 . . . Like those other generations who were given to witness the guillotining of a world, we never expected it. And like that of our counterparts, our world seemed most beautiful just before it disappeared.”
~ David Lowe ~

The pressures of school are everywhere. The Third Task is looming. The future beckons. But to Cedric and Cho, the spring of 1995 is the best time to be alive. It is their summer of 1914.

MorganRay of Hufflepuff. Gift of Gab challenge one-shot.

I really really love this story. I really hope it wins. It's so cute. It made me sad for Cho that they were planning to do stuff after the tournament but he died.

Author's Response: Thanks for your support! :) This fic does seem to be a bit more about Cho, and I guess I have her worries about school and her life after Hogwarts take center stage.

I really like this chapter. I like your characterazation of James. It's really good. I like everything about this chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next and who the killer is.

Author's Response: Thanks! One of my biggest goals for this story is to make James realistic, so I'm glad that you like his characterization so far! The next chapter should be up soon, but it'll be a while before you find out who the killer is. . . .
