Hello! I'm Julia and when I'm not cavorting with elves in Middle Earth, I'm a moderator for this archive, among other things.
Poetry, Anyone? I am the resident Poet Laureate over on the Beta Boards as leader of this fun little group. We have monthly challenges all with a Harry Potter twist. You can also find solid and comprehensive critique for any poems and help for all your archive-based concerns.
Susan Bones Book Club. I am the leader of this fun little group. Each month the SBBC chooses two to three fics from the archives to discuss. Wow. This is brilliant. It's such a great idea and I loved the structure but your overall flow and mastery of beautiful language just makes it even more powerful. The way you tied the ending with the beginning is so heart-breaking and real. I loved it.

Jan! fdvsibo fdjrgbjdznxc SJDfbksjbf dz! Since Wilfred Owen's poetry is plastered across my walls at the moment, I have to say that I adore this poem. The last stanza is so potent, I could feel the thrill of reading it rise in my throat.
And death will die a thousand times
While I will face it one time only.
And as I hear the gentle chimes
Of a bell discordant, ringing lonely
Shizzle, that's going to be ringing in my ears for days. My work mates think I'm crazy because I take anthologies of poetry to work to read during my lunch break but I think they are going to think I'm crazier if I start printing all your poetry and bringing it to work in a clearfile... oh well! *can't believe I didn't discover this little gem earlier*

A story of mystery, passion, friendship, and jealousy… not to mention that Harry Potter has been missing for ten years and Voldemort is dead. (All violence is mild).

Brilliant. One of my favourite Harmony fics by far! Dark/angsty Harmony is always the best. Fluffy Harmony doesn't work very often just because of the nature of the pairing. There is something so deliciously forbidden with Harry/Hermione and you really captured that! I did like how you ended on a lighter note, though. It's like you came full circle. Well done!

I kind of see Harmony as complicated, Harry and Hermione are very much on the same level emotionally, but when bad things happen, I'm not sure that's always easy and that's what I tried to convey. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this before. This is one of my favourite H/Hr fics. It is perfect and I can just see this fitting into canon with Harry and Hermione finding solace and sort of thirst-quenching need within one another.

Well I just finished listening to this today on Audiofictions. I absolutely loved this fic. It was the perfect antidote to an hour long bus ride into uni! I loved the humor but I also felt you didn't make it too light-hearted. There were times I almost cried (on the bus! Embarassing much?). I don't like it when I read a fic that treats the death of a family member with indifference because life isn't like that at all...So thankyou for your wonderful story. You made me smile!
