Reviewer: AshTonks Signed
Date: 03/04/10 Title: Chapter 1: P.S. I Love You

O...M...G... Okay, I HATE slash. Honestly, pics of H/D make me sick. But I read your fic just to see what all the hype was. I LOVE IT. This was an amazing story! You wrote it really well, and I just love the way they interact. And yes....return to sender....it broke my heart. I was very angry at you....but I got over it a couple sentences later :) Just thought you'd want to know you're awesome and so's your story!

Monochrome by Elmindreda

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Black and white. Two perfect colors to form a perfect world. Or at least, so has he thought for almost twenty-two years. One color would always intrude... one way or another.

I am Elmindreda of Gryffindor, and this is my submission for Color of Loss challenge.

You made me cry! OMG, I love this story. That line...The only color I would ever let into my perfect monochrome world. The color that made sure my world remained monochrome...I just lost it. That was great. I am a huge Severus/Lily fan (though obviously they couldn't get together or no Harry Potter...) and you really touched my heart! Great job!

PS. I have one Sev/Lily fic posted, and I would love if you read it! TY!

A Clumsy Connection by DontCallMeNymphadora

AH! I love it! Snape/Lily is my favorite ship that never was. Remus/Tonks is my fav ship ever, tho. I really like all your stories! This poem really captures what i think about when I read about Severus falling in love with Lily. Major kudos!

P.S. I just wrote a fic from Lily's pov about the day he called her Mudblood, so I'd love u to read and review!

Author's Response: I shall definitely read and review, though nearly two years later than you posted this. i'm sorry about that!!

*Bawls my eyes out*
I will never forgive JKR for that one...not Remus and Tonks. Ever.
This is a great poem and I really like the way you captured Remus finally realizing that having this family is something good. Great job!

Author's Response: thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it

Longing by DontCallMeNymphadora

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is a Luna/Neville one shot. It takes just before Luna's wedding to Rolf. She and Neville discuss what went wrong and what could never be.
Reviewer: AshTonks Signed
Date: 09/25/09 Title: Chapter 1: Longing

NO! Ditch Rolf and marry Neville!! nevile, get up there and stop her! Ugh! You totally made me cry with this one. I've always thought Neville and Luna should be together, but I guess fate (JKR) just didn't want it...sigh*

Author's Response: ooops... response above intended for you. and it should've been you, not me, haha... oops.

Always still here! You're great! Each chapter is better than the last. I'm so glad you haven't given up on it!

Author's Response: I won't give up on it, and at some point I'll focus more attention on the story so I can get a few chapters up at a time. Thank you so much for the review and constant support. ~Carole~

Errrr. Love Mary, but she better back off! Lol. Your chapters never disappoint! Best fanfic ever!

Tonks and Remus are my two very favorite characters in the series, and this is the love story I REALLY wanted to read! Thank you so much! I love your story. You get the characters down SO well, and you stick to the canon, but you add your own flair. It's my favorite story ever! Major Kudos!!

Author's Response: OOOH, thank you so much. That has made my day. I love writing it because they are my favourite characters and I think they deserved a longer history together given that they died so young. ~Carole~

Thank you for your time, Professor by Equinox Chick

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: It is April 1976, and Minerva McGonagall sits in her office, arranging biscuits on a plate. She knows she faces a stormy afternoon because today is the day she has to advise her four most troublesome students on their future. They call themselves the Marauders; they think they want the same thing, but Minerva knows that the differences between them will not work in everyone's favour. And so, she steels herself for a very difficult day.

This is Equinox Chick submitting her final for the MWPP class.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I doubt that shocks you.

This story is very much a prequel to The Lions of Gryffindor, but either can be read without knowledge of the other.

In shock at the nomination for a 2009 QSQ award.
Reviewer: AshTonks Signed
Date: 09/25/09 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Ah! I love you! You really captured each individual character with their conversations. I love the way you portray them, because it's not all superficial fluff, you really get down to the heart of each character and what makes them tick. Great, great job!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review, I wanted to do something a little bit different and we don't see enough of McGonagall in the fics - plus we tend to see Marauders together and not seperately. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Missing Moments in Time by mudbloodproud

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: In the world of Harry Potter, there is a love story that has not been told. That is the love story of Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin. In this series of one-shots, you will explore a few of the many special moments in their lives together. Each of these Missing Moments is a glimpse into turning points in their life together.

I do not own anything you recognise in these one-shots. It all belongs to J.K. Rowling. I am just thankful to be able to play in her world for a little while.

Yay! I love Tonks and Remus SO much! And I've read Apparently Asleep, so I totally get all your little references, ha ha.
I really like this story and I eagerly await the next chapter of both!

Author's Response: Thank you for your review. I seem to have a habit of referencing other fanfics, especially ones written by Equinox Chick. I'm glad you got the reference. I will let her know someone is waiting for her next chapter. I am working on the next chapter for this story. Thanks again. Terri

Muggles, Magic and Misconceptions by Equinox Chick

But how can they help when Teddy runs home in an uncharacteristic rage after playing with Muggle friends in the park?

This is Equinox Chick of Hufflepuff writing for the Halloween Challenge, Halloween Explained prompt in the Great Hall Challenge.

Thank you to Emma (Amortentia x) for beta'ing this story.

The Face of Betrayal by mudbloodproud

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After a request from Albus Dumbledore, Remus Lupin faces his past and the long buried memories of his friend, Sirius Black.

Will these memories bring comfort or pain? Can he find the truth in a pile of old photographs or just find more questions?

I do not own anything you recognise in this story. It all belongs to J.K. Rowling. I am just thankful to be able to play in her world, for a little while.

This story is set the end of August, 1994 when Albus Dumbledore asks Remus to teach at Hogwarts. As I was writing this, I had another lightbulb moment surrounding the picture of the original Order of the Phoenix. Remus just has the wrong person as the guilty party.

Reviewer: AshTonks Signed
Date: 10/22/09 Title: Chapter 1: Pictures in a Box

AH! Love it!!! I always wondered, how did Remus handle that? From what he knew, one of his few close friends murdered the all the others in cold blood. I mean can you imagine? I don't think I could survive something like that. I love the way you wrote this. To go through all his memories, searching for a reason, but never able to find one. And "If anyone would have cause to feel neglected by the rest, it would have been Peter..." nice hint, lol. I'm gonna stop babbling now, but I LOVE your lightbulb moment!

Always...But Not Who You Think by hestiajones

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Severus waits alone in a park to make the ultimate choice - Voldemort or Love? But, of course, Severus can decide only when he gets there first.

I thank my LJ pals for their love, support and sense of humour.

Wow... I think I threw up a little, LOL.
I did enjoy the story, though. Very well written. Just the thought of... no... no... ugh. XD

Author's Response: Haha! While I am sorry about making you retch, I'm also happy you thought it was well-written. :D But, yeah, terrible ship, isn't it? *shudders* Thanks for reading and reviewing!

What Lies Behind by C_A_Campbell

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Winner of the 2011 QSQ Award for Best Dark/Angsty One-shot! It is true what they say about your life flashing before your eyes just before you die. As Theodore Nott, Death Eater like his father before him, stands on the battlefield in what is surely Hogwarts and his final hours, he remembers all that lays behind him: his father, the Dark Lord, the one girl he ever loved, and the thing he has forced himself to forget.

But you remember, don't you, Theodore?

Please tell me you remember me.

Reviewer: AshTonks Signed
Date: 01/19/11 Title: Chapter 1: Do you remember?

Wow. This is utterly amazing. You completely capture the emotions of the characters and the climate of the war around them. I imagine many of the young Slytherins were facing this, pressure from parents, from social expectations. I cried reading the end of this. It was great. I love this beyond belief. Bloody brilliant.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the stories. I really don't think as many of the Slytherins faced this problem as you might. Not all of them had Death Eaters as parents, though that seems to be the stereotype. But Death Eater parents or not, I can't imagine that being Slytherin at this time was easy. I'm not sure whether to apologize for making you cry. I know when writing a story that is very sad, it's a compliment that I manage to bring tears, and yet, I don't like making people cry. But thank you for loving the story, and thank you for the review.

Shrouds by Equinox Chick

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Not all Voldemort’s victims were on the side of right.

Over a year has passed since the Battle of Hogwarts. Families grieve, but their dead are remembered with honour.

For Draco Malfoy it has been a year of nothing. Merely existing, he is bound tightly to his past as if enveloped in a shroud, unwilling to accept help. It takes a chance encounter on a cobbled street to jerk him into the realisation that he cannot go on like this. A chance encounter with the one person who has most cause to hate him.

But shrouds, however tightly bound, unravel.

A huge thank you to Natalie (hestiajones) who put her laminated canon card in jeopardy by beta'ing this fic and being very supportive all the way through.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. Her lawyers agree, so please don't mistake us. I just like taking the odd liberty (ahem) with her characters (and pairings)

Nominated for two QSQ's in Best Non-Canon Romance and also Best Post Hogwarts story for 2011. Thank you.

Okay, so this is officially the best dramione ever. I'm already totally sucked in! AH! You're amazing.
I love the way you encorporated that they are all still dealing with their own issues from the war. A lot of horrible things happened to all of these people, and despite the happy ending, you know they have to be hurting. Its a very real outlook and an amazing story.
Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you very much. I get annoyed with Dramione's that don't deal with the issue of Malfoy Manor, because Draco was reprehensible there and it would be so very hard getting over that. Landing in the middle of a relationship without addressing those issues is just wrong. I'm glad you're enjoying the story. ~Carole~

Date: 10/30/10 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 - My Talisman

NO! Ugh! I wanted her to be with Draco! Then again, both Ron and Draco had their stupid, complete prat moments...
Anyway, it was another amazing story! *not surprised* Great job and thank you for giving fandom another awesome piece of literature!

Author's Response: Thank you! Hmm, it was a wrench splitting them up, but in the end they were too different and Ron hadn't done that much that was wrong ... really ... had he? I did enjoy writing this, but angsted over the credibility, so I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again ~Carole~

Hopelessness by FlightOfSong

Summary: When Ron listened to Hermione's screams from down in the cellar of Malfoy Manor, what was going through his mind?
Reviewer: AshTonks Signed
Date: 01/10/11 Title: Chapter 1: Hopelessness

Really good! You really captured the Ron and the things that were probably running through his mind.
