Killer Instincts by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: London: Four murders have taken place under bizarre circumstances, for what seems to be an equally bizarre reason.

Harry, a happily wedded man with a wonderful wife and a cute daughter, is an Auror at the Ministry of Magic and is now given a new case to solve with Ron and four other Aurors. Incidentally, the four Aurors include Ginny, Harry’s ‘schoolboy crush’; and it turns out to be much more than a crush when Harry sees her again. What’s more is that Harry is working upon a case that seems to connect to him directly. And once again, it opens up old fears: fears of losing loved ones.

Ron, on the other hand, seems to be tired of Hermione. Tempers are running high and fights are breaking out more often than usual. Are they really falling apart? Or can they sort this out before it is too late?

Then there is the case itself. Who is trustworthy, and who is not? Who is deadly enough to murder four people in cold blood?

Indulge into the gut-wrenching action, combined with warm romance and tingling suspense; while I tell you a story of love, ambition and obsession… a story of what those killer instincts can do. EDIT: MAJOR revamping going on, with regard to plot, characterisation, and general style of writing. I would urge you not to read this until I've removed this notice because I wasn't very good six years ago, and this is as bad as I was. *Places traffic cones*

Waiting by cjbaggins

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is a one-shot that takes place at The Burrow during the Hogwarts' Christmas break, while Ron, Hermione, and Harry are off searching for Horcruxes. Molly and Ginny have a little chat.
Reviewer: My Wicked Quill Signed
Date: 09/12/09 Title: Chapter 1: Waiting

i dont knw why, but when Mrs. Weasley said, "You're in love with Harry" i loved it. i absolutelty loved it, maybe because i;ve always wanted and imagined her saying that to Ginny, because throughout the entire series we never saw that conversation, the one u just wrote. and i mean it is a rather important conversation right? especially since mrs weasley loves harry soooo much. great job, i adored it!!!

Author's Response: I am so pleased you liked that part. I really enjoyed writing the conversation between the two of them, as I like to think that they have a close relationship despite their bickering. To me, it shows how astute Molly is, that she really does understand her daughter. For the same reason I like the part where Molly stands to hide Ginny from her brother's view to avoid awkward questions. Thank you so much for the review! cj

The Twinge by MagEd

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Some say to follow your heart, others think it best to follow your head. And what does Ginny Weasley believe? A short history of Ginny Weasley and how she learned to follow the twinge, from her first kiss to the day when Harry almost died. *one-shot*

you have taken the character of the name Ginerva Molly Weasley and poured her out heart and sould, you explained every single piece of her, and you made it clear that you understand this character as well as i do lol, which is muuuuch more than anyone else. JKR would be sooo proud

Author's Response: Thanks so much -- that's high praise! Ginny is one of my favorite characters so its good to know you think I did her justice :)

As Happily Ever After As They're Gonna Get by cjbaggins

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: My take on the first of those 'nineteen years' between the 36th chapter of DH and the epilogue.

Warnings: contains an unusually-shaped ring, a nosy neighbour, a rude shop assistant, shaving mishaps, thoughtful gestures, threatening goblins, and, unexplained appearances of Romantic!Ron and Romantic!Harry. You have been warned.

Rating is for *mild* innuendo and *mostly* innocent interactions but I wouldn't let my 9 year old read it.

interesting. i love how you made George himself, yet depressed for the loss of his brother. nice that you reminded everyone of Hermione's parents

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I am pleased that you appreciate my portrayal of George. It is difficult to write a character who has lost someone so close to him, as I have (thanks be to God) never experienced that myself. I'm glad you love my attempt. Stay tuned! cj

A Many Splendoured Thing by cjbaggins

loved it my favorite fan fictions are always the ones that have different interpretations of how the weasley's find out about Harry and Ginny

A Snowy Evening by kingbobrules

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Christmas is just around the corner, but with the war raging all around them, it seems that the festive spirit will be passing Harry and Ginny's love life by this year. But can a classic Weasley plan, an awkward dinner party, a frank conversation and some good old fashioned snow convince Harry to stop pushing Ginny away? And if he changes his mind… will he be able to let her go again?

omg i just got right into the story and didn't read the chapter notes so when i scrolled up after reading and saw that it was based on "baby it's cold outside" i smiled, i knew the song obviously but i still went on u tube and listened to the song lyrics. i will never hear that song the same way again. lol brilliant.

Here With You by kalae_zoe

u had me crying! i get really emotional with these characters i mean wat can anyone expect i started reading the series when i was in first grade, im now in 10th ive grown up with them and the last book harry did have so much on his shoulders it realy wasn't fair, the fact that Ginny "was with him" just makes me smile, brilliantly written too.

Author's Response: Sorry I made you cry, but I'm only a little sorry :D as a writer I always strive to affect people the way you were with this story. I worked really hard on this one in trying to capture the emotion and angst that Harry was going through at a moment when he thought he was completely alone. I had wonderful betas who really challenged me in making this story good. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Obvious by MarauderWannabe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Harry had always been a person of few words. Ginny had always been the talkative one.
That much is obvious.
From Harry and Ginny's POV
Is that so incomprehensible? That a seventeen year old is fighting to beat the darkest man in the world, not for glory, not out of vengeance, but for, well, his best mate’s little sister?

It seemed that I should be the only one that was allowed to run to him for comfort, for reassurance. It didn’t seem fair that I had to share Harry Potter with the world.

Incredible by ginnyrulz13

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Except:

Before I can rethink my actions, I'm running towards him.

This is it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it!

I kiss him.

Harry and Ginny kiss after the Quidditch game, but what happened afterwards? This is kind of the sequel to my fic "Invisible", but it can stand alone.
Song-fic to the song "Fearless" by Taylor Swift.
From Ginny's POV
Reviewer: My Wicked Quill Signed
Date: 08/21/09 Title: Chapter 1: Incredible

"Although we never did talk about the Quidditch Match" that had me on the floor laughing, just because i remember that part of the series so well, and i told myself, yea they're not gonna talk about Quidditch they probably wont even talk at all

Author's Response: I know i just loved that part of HBP :) I used to be able to quote, almost word for word, the part where they kissed cause it was just so darn cute haha. I'm so glad you liked it and i made you laugh! Laughing is almost always the goal, unless of course someone is dying, then it might not be appropriate to laugh. Although if it is Voldemort or someone dying, then laughing is encouraged.

Hands To Build A House by Hermione_Rocks, HorcruxHunter14

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It’s been more than a year since the downfall of Lord Voldemort, and the wizarding world has begun to try and rebuild what was damaged during the war. Despite this, Harry Potter begins to feel that -- no matter how much repairing and restoring he does for the magical community -- he is unable to patch up what is still broken in his own life. He quickly decides that the only way to do this is to builld himself a house.

wow, i must admitt that was a great read, you honeslty have talent, more so than most of the other's i've read here. so let me get this straight, in your mind Harry's fanatsy will at some point become a reality right? the house came out like the one in his day dream i'm sure. the only thing i didn't like was that the friendships seemed to die, especially between Ron and Hermione with Harry. i understand why you did it and see the need for it, but it did make me sad. anyway great job, i will deffinetly keep reading from you in the future.

Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much! And yes, my co-author and I hope that eventually Harry's fantasy house will turn into his real life. =) And yes, it is sad to see what Harry's friendships with Ron and Hermione have been reduced to . . . but they have time to resolve things. As seen in the epilogue, they're all on very good terms. But since this fic was about Harry/Ginny, we didn't want to focus on the Harry-Ron-Hermione resolution. Thanks for the sweet review! =D

Wait by MagEd

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Despite their best efforts, the word "wait" is always in the vocabulary of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley. Kicking off after the final battle is done and Voldemort is gone, this is how Harry and Ginny sent "wait" to the wayside. *one-shot*
Reviewer: My Wicked Quill Signed
Date: 08/20/09 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

that was just incredible, perfect, and every wonderful adjective you could possibly imagine! harry and ginny to the point where you'd think that J.K. Rowling her self gave you a lecture. and i don't JUST say that. i have high standards, i don't usually finish reading these stories, they are either too far fetch from the potter story or the writing is just unberable, but yours was the first i couldnt stop.

Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm glad it wasn't too far-fetched and it seemed in-line with the Harry Potter universe! Thanks for the review :)

Moments by ahattab33

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Have you ever thought about those moments that really defined your life? The ones that were pivotal, life-altering? They can be as obvious as your wedding day, as defining as the birth of your child...or as small as a moment in time, as subtle as a glance between one person and another.

The greatest moments of our lives can sometimes be the shortest and simplest of them all.

A missing moment from the Half-Blood Prince and part of the "Moments" series.

This Beauty By My Side by kalae_zoe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: There were some nights, not unlike tonight, when Harry would wonder what he ever did to deserve a life like this, to be able to have such a beauty like Ginny by his side.

Takes place after the Final Battle, but before the Epilogue.

Date: 08/17/09 Title: Chapter 1: This Beauty By My Side

Beautiful!! i adored how much you understand Harry and Ginny's relationship, her being at his side always suporting him even though she never really spoke, and how she knew to leave him alone or push him to talk, you got it down packed!
