It's Witchcraft by Nicole_Riddle

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: When Draco Malfoy finds himself falling for the Gryffindor know-it-all, he convinces himself that it’s merely witchcraft. But when they both finally come to terms with the truth, nothing can stop them from being together. This is a tale of forbidden love and dangerous passion weaved into the Half-Blood Prince, where circumstances beyond their control might tear Draco and Hermione apart forever… Check out the long awaited sequal Fatum Amoris...The Fate of Love about Medea Malfoy and Patrick Potter now appearing in the other pairings section.

Oh, I was very surprised when I looked at the most recent updates and saw this (I honestly sat staring for a good minute ting it was a mistake). I did enjoy the original ending a great deal, it left so much to the imagination. but, this is nice too.

Agapanthus by CLee

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: A Sequel to Born the Day You Kissed Me

After losing Draco Malfoy, Hermione Granger is determined to have him back…so determined that she will go as far as inventing a spell that reverses the affects of the “Obliviate” curse. In this anticipated sequel, Hermione and Draco’s lives will collide, along with opportunities for Hermione to perform her new creation on her most valuable subject. However, when a new relationship between the two forms, will Hermione be able to summon the courage to expose their lost love? Will she reveal to him the missing portion of his life? Or will she simply accept the new Draco and without spells, attempt to revive the love that she knows is buried down deep in his soul....

I really enjoy this story, and Born The Day You Kissed Me. I can't believe it's been so long since it was updated. I'll keep hoping for an update though.

Fatum Amoris...The Fate of Love by Nicole_Riddle

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The long awaited sequel to "It's Witchraft" (Draco/Hermione). Medea Malfoy had always looked up to her parents Draco and Hermione as the ideal wizard and witch...so imagine her surprise when some of her class mates seemed to hate her just because she was a Malfoy. What could be wrong with being a Malfoy? Patrick Potter had been told about The Malfoys his entire life, but he failed to understand how Medea, a fellow Gryffindor who had an unfailing love of justice, could possibly be bad.

I am quite fond of this story. However, I was hoping you realize that in canon (I know you may be straying on purpose), that legilmency and being an animagus are optional things. It just makes the story a little odd (to me at least) to read about them as if they are inherent gifts that can't be controlled.

Behind those Emerald Eyes by makinmagic323

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Ten years have elapsed since Dumbledore's death and McGonagall has Hogwarts back on its feet again. Hermione and Malfoy both teach at the school. But when a new teacher is hired to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, everyone seems to feel that they've met him before. A story of mystery, passion, friendship, and jealousy… not to mention that Harry Potter has been missing for ten years and Voldemort is dead. (All violence is mild).

NEXT CHAPTER VALIDATED

There have been errors when this story gets submitted for validation, so the mods have to do it manually. Therefore it does not show when it has been validated -- but it has!!

Thank you to all my reviewers!!!

I've really enjoyed this story, this has been my first time reading it. I must say, I am disappointed it wasn't finished. However, I would like to give my guesses anyway: g-> tell Hermione and have a fight with Malfoy (and have Malfoy return to his old self)

As Happily Ever After As They're Gonna Get by cjbaggins

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: My take on the first of those 'nineteen years' between the 36th chapter of DH and the epilogue.

Warnings: contains an unusually-shaped ring, a nosy neighbour, a rude shop assistant, shaving mishaps, thoughtful gestures, threatening goblins, and, unexplained appearances of Romantic!Ron and Romantic!Harry. You have been warned.

Rating is for *mild* innuendo and *mostly* innocent interactions but I wouldn't let my 9 year old read it.

I generally don't comment on unfinished stories, but yours is very good. I hope to see an update at some point soon (no, I'm not counting your what happened in chapter 13 update).

Author's Response: I don't count that as part of the story either. It's just something that was kicking around in my head and I wanted to write it down. Thank you so much for going against habit to comment on my unfinished story! I am stuck for a bit on the next chapter, but I have promised myself time this weekend to write, so stay tuned. cj

The Knick Knack by SeverusSempra

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It’s not impossible for a Slytherin to marry a Gryffindor. They just might not agree on how to decorate the house.

A very fluffy AU one-shot about what might have happened if Lily Evans had wound up with Severus Snape.

Oh, this was very good. I actually have just started venturing into the SS/LE genre, but this is good.

Author's Response: So glad you liked it, and sorry it has taken me eight months to reply to your kind review-- real life has been exceedingly busy! It's a great genre, by the way-- there are so many good SS/LE stories.

The Waiting Game by Equinox Chick

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The waiting room at St Mungo's is a dreary place. Ginny knows it better than many people, for she spends her days there waiting -- and hoping.

This is Equinox Chick from Hufflepuff writing for the extra credit One Floo over the Fwoopers Nest category in the Bookbasilisk Summer Challenge.

I would like to thank Apurva (DracoGurlFurever) for beta'ing this for me and making some great suggestions.

I am not JK Rowling - I doubt that shocks you.

Thank you for your time, Professor by Equinox Chick

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: It is April 1976, and Minerva McGonagall sits in her office, arranging biscuits on a plate. She knows she faces a stormy afternoon because today is the day she has to advise her four most troublesome students on their future. They call themselves the Marauders; they think they want the same thing, but Minerva knows that the differences between them will not work in everyone's favour. And so, she steels herself for a very difficult day.

This is Equinox Chick submitting her final for the MWPP class.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I doubt that shocks you.

This story is very much a prequel to The Lions of Gryffindor, but either can be read without knowledge of the other.

In shock at the nomination for a 2009 QSQ award.

I do love how you picked careers people (at least I) could really them in, and showed how terribly wrong things could go based on uncontrollable circumstances.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review. I wanted to show how the consequences of the 'prank' that nearly killed Snape affected Sirius too, so I'm glad you agreed. ~Carole~

Oh, I loved this, the very concept of the two being friends (if only briefly) is very intriguing. In fact, I sort of wish it was longer, to see how things ended up after the Sorting (in your head obviously)

Author's Response: Oh, thank you for the review. Mmm, I see your point about carrying on, but I think the ending was very clear - well from Bellatrix's POV. She wouldn't have wanted to remain friends with Molly - not now she was in Gryffindor. ~Carole~

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Molly Weasley seems to have a heart big enough to accept anyone in need of love. It doesn't matter if the person is an abused little boy named Harry or her son's always present 'friend' Hermione, Molly will mother them.

Perhaps her need to reach out is caused by what should be present, but is not. The Missing Hands...

This is a very touching story, an interesting perspective and an excellent sequence of events. Your writing has a few minor flaws, mainly typos, but is otherwise excellent.
