Discovering Delirium by The owl

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: At the start of her seventh year, Lily Evans doesn’t know quite what to expect of her new duties as Head Girl. Her only certainty is that Potter will manage to mess them up somehow. However, even she couldn’t have foreseen exactly how much he could mess things up.

James isn’t too worried about being Head Boy. He is more concerned by whether Evans would finally get over herself and see that he really had grown up a bit. However, their shared responsibilities were going to change things more that he knew.

I think I have reviewed this before, but I have to again. If I were James (and a boy, for that matter), I would kill Sirius. But Lily is going out with him now, so maybe only a slight maiming. James never meant to kill, only to harm or siriusly injure.

Author's Response: You have reviewed before, but I'm no less grateful for this one because of it :) Ah, I do love a good Sirius pun. Yep, I think James might have to slightly maim Sirius later, but Madame Pomfrey will fix him up again in a jiffy :p All that matters is that James and Lily are together. Thanks, Krista!

Shamrock by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: In the space of five months, Seamus Finnigan found himself out of one relationship and home, and safely ensconced with the rapacious Romilda Vane.

About to get married and move to Paris, he couldn't be happier.

But his friends have other ideas.

Disclaimer: I most definitely am not JK Rowling.

Another Disclaimer: All the chapter titles are named after films. I didn't star, write or direct any of them. And there's a good few I haven't even seen.

I like the story. I'm rather curious why Romilda is marrying Seamus.

Author's Response: Mwahahahahahahahah - Yes, I had hoped people would wonder why she's so intent on marrying him :) - Thank you for reviewing. ~Carole~

Hogwarts: A History by noblefate

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

This is noblefate of Ravenclaw writing for the Great Hall Illustration for Inspiration challenge.
This story won second place in the Great Hall Illustration for Inspiration challenge.

This story was nominated for a 2012 Quicksilver Quill award.

Awwww... You made me cry. Very well written, though.

Author's Response: Oh no, I didn't want you to cry! (Though I take it as a compliment that you did.) I'm glad you liked the story. ~ Megan

Sob, sob, sob. Excuse me while I cry after that very good story came to an end. Very well written and great job. Will Terry and Theo be in the wedding?

Author's Response:

I, too, am heartbroken that it's all over. However, I will always have this review page, full of wonderful things from all of you, to remind me of how much fun it was to write and to experience with readers. :)

Well, of course Terry and Theo will be in the wedding; Terry is Michael's best friend and Theo is Daphne's. I may have to toss that plot bunny around a bit and see if I can't come up with something, hehe.

Thank you so much for reading along and seeing the story come to fruition. It was a blast to write and even more so to share, and I will never cease to be amazed that such a rarepair was adopted by so many, when I thought no one would ever read this story. <3

The Prefects' Bathroom by The owl

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The Prefects' bathroom is one of the many privileges available to Lily Evans and James Potter in their final year at Hogwarts. They certainly take full advantage of it in good times and bad. However, in the bad times, they find themselves needing the retreat it provides more than ever.
Reviewer: Lost_Robin Signed
Date: 06/05/12 Title: Chapter 1: The Prefects' Bathroom

I like the story. Good characterization of all the characters. Poor innocent Hufflepuff!

Author's Response: Thank you :) Characterisation is always something I worry about, so it's good to know that you think I got it right, As I said to BP, I wrote this before my Sorting, so I really do feel bad for that Hufflepuff now!

Early November Morning by BrokenPromise

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

On November 2nd, Petunia Dursley wakes up to a morning she hates to remember but will never forget.

This is BrokenPromise of Ravenclaw writing for the Great Hall Illustration for Inspiration Challenge 2012

Regrettably, I own neither the world nor the picture from which this fic is inspired. They belong to J K Rowling and Karaley Dargen respectively, and I hope that this is an adequate representation.

Character Death for Lily and James only.

Many thanks to Megan/noblefate who betaed this for me so quickly and helpfully!

Oh my. Very good. I've always wondered what the letter said and what happened after she read the letter.

Author's Response: Thanks. I wasn't really sure what to put in the letter except I knew that she had to find out about Lily and she needed to know that Harry had to stay under that roof. I thought that Dumbledore would be really nice about it, but Megan made it clear to me that he would've needed to make his point clear to Petunia or she wouldn't have told Vernon to let Harry stay in OotP. As for afterwards, I haven't really said much about that...perhaps I should've done. Thanks for the review!

Uncommon Friends by Gmariam

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: When Draco Malfoy walked into a shop one night looking for help, he found the last person he would have expected: Neville Longbottom. To Neville's surprise, Draco accepted his help. But neither anticipated that one chance meeting would be the beginning of a friendship that would last until the very end.

Oh boy, this is interesting. Draco with a drug problem AND becoming friends with Neville. I hope to read more soon. It is very good so far.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the beginning and do hope you enjoy the rest. It's fairly tame, but it's been fun trying to figure out just how they might end up as friends. Thanks again for reading and reviewing! ~Gina :)

Daffodils by epiphany212

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Neville Longbottom is tired of being a war hero, tired of missing the girl who left him behind, tired of feeling like his life isn't fulfilled by his passion in Herbology. With the help of some friends, the example of his parents, and one incredible girl, he realizes that sometimes, the biggest strength lies in believing in the magic of love. [Neville/OC]

A Black at Heart by Miss B

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: “Hey... Harry? I found some letters Sirius wrote. Have you ever heard of an Élisabeth LaBelle?”

What if you loved someone, in secret, all your life? What if you had no idea if they were even alive, and you had no way to contact them? Would you still keep them in your heart?
Reviewer: Lost_Robin Signed
Date: 07/31/12 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter Two: Secrets from the Past

This is a rather interesting premise. I thought that the letter Sirius wrote in the first chapter was a little OOC, but the rest is good so far. I hope to reasd more soon.

Author's Response: Regarding the letter: I know, it killed me writing that because I just couldn't picture it, but when I remembered how kind he was as a godfather to Harry, it seemed a little bit more realistic. Who knows, Sirius may really have been a closet romantic!

The Latecomer by HalfASlug

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

Sob, sob, sob. Fred's funeral. I always thought that they kept that wizard in a box. Is he in the attic with the ghoul?

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing :) It's such a random thing that is never explained! Maybe he is the ghoul after a shower?

For the Love of Books by Theloonyhermione

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What was Hermione's life like before Hogwarts? Why does she love books so much? Why doesn't she have any friends? What are her parents like and what impact have they had on her life?
A story of Hermione's life before Hogwarts.

I'm not J.K. Rowling. I suppose more than a few of you know that.

Edit: Thank you guys so much!! Over 1000 reads on my first story... whoever has read this is amazing.

Hermione and her parents were good, but I don't think that McGonagall would paint her nails or sound quite like that. Other than that, excellent story so far.

Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I added the part with McGonagall painting her toenails just so that she would try to fit in with Muggles, for even Ministers of magic don't know exactly how Muggles look. However I may change it a bit. I don't know exactly what you mean by 'sound like that', though, maybe you could review again to tell me what you mean or contact/PM me (if you're on the Beta boards). My username is the same there. Thanks again for reviewing!

If I Leave You Now by silverlining95

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

'Even in a castle this huge, with as many cousins as I have there’s always someone with a map to come and scoop me out of my tear-stained reverie in a dark corner.'

Molly Weasley Jr cannot leave Hogwarts, for she cannot leave her best friend behind.

This was originally written for the Illustration for Inspiration challenge over in the Great Hall, however it wasn't long enough and I didn't have time to rework it in order to post it in time to qualify.

The title is inspired by the Chicago song 'If You Leave Me Now'.

Nominated for a 2013 Quicksilver Quill in the Next Generation category.

Reviewer: Lost_Robin Signed
Date: 07/09/12 Title: Chapter 1: I Never Can Say Goodbye

Can I hug Molly? And what subject would she be teaching? Good story. I have one more question: What House did you put Molly in? Gryffindor?

Author's Response: Aww I'm sure she'd love a hug! Hmmm... I hadn't even thought of what subject she'd teach, maybe charms? I definitely can't see her doing DADA, Potions or Divination. I hadn't really assigned her a house, but I don't envisage her in Gryffindor really, I think she's more of a Ravenclaw... though her loyalty to Fliss and her family could mean she'd be a Hufflepuff! Thank you for your review :) Fenella x

However, it is selected instead of the other polished replicas. There's a note. The selector discovers it in a random section of the book just weeks later. They decide to study the scribbles on it. There's a problem. As always, there is some sort of dilemma halting the desirable task from its conclusion. There's a result. Awwww. I love Luna. I especially loved the diatribe she had about her feet. Great story. And of course the twins were born on Leap Day.

Author's Response: Thank you, Krista! Luna is a favourite of mine, and I'm glad you like her too. Something as unlikely as having twins on February 29th could only happen to her, I guess.
