Pride and Pre-Juiced Plums: A Potter's Pentagon Love Story by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A companion piece to the Potter's Pentagon trilogy... it's better if you've read the Potter's Pentagon trilogy, but you don't necessarily have to.

It's five years after Emma Weasley and her chums graduated from Hogwarts. Ted and Ivy are married, Haley is working at Madame Puddifoot's while trying desperately to break into show business, Jordan's doing whatever it is he does, and Emma is an Auror trainee working as a guard at the Chudley Cannons' stadium. The Cannons have actually been doing much better lately, due to their new star Beater, Tyrone Thomas. Unfortunately, Tyrone is Emma's ex-boyfriend. OH, THE AWKWARDNESS.

Follow Emma through her awkward adventures told in her usual insane way, as she experiences angst, hilarity, obnoxiously strange people, misadventures involving a deceptively dashing cad, Haley's wedding, the birth of Ted and Ivy's baby, and her own eventual descent into LURRRVE.

Written for the marvellous Vindictus Viridian's Pride and Prejudice NEWTs class on the Fanfiction Beta Boards, based on Jane Austen's fantastic novel, "Pride and Prejudice.".

Nominated in the 2008 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Non-Canon Romance Story! And its lovely (haha) heroine, Emma Weasley, received two nominations for Best Female Original Character, while Haley Potter and Ivy Potter each received one! Thanks so much, guys!

I'm in abad mood now.... I wish they were still dating. And it was all over green beans.

Author's Response: Hahaha, don't worry! Things turn out all right. But they WOULD fight over such a stupid thing...

Awww, it's so romantic. Which is exactly why I don't get how I like it. But really, you are an amazing writer and love your stories. A few chapters back, when there was so much Emma and Tyrone trouble, I practically considered writing a fanfic on a fanfic. Just kidding. But seriously, if you can make me like romance, you have a gift.

Author's Response: Hey ,if you feel like writing a fanfic of a fanfic, feel free, haha. Especially if you send it to me. I already miss my characters. Thanks a bajillion and twelve... I actually hate romance, too, and I'm a really unromantic person, but I did this story as part of a challenge for writing a story inspired by "Pride and Prejudice," and as an English lit major, I had to do it! The only way to get me to write a romance story is to have Emma, who hates romance even more than I do, narrate it!

Yay! They got back together. I absolutely love your writing. By the way, that's a lot of profiles. Please write more future generation stuff, it's the best.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm not sure I'll ever write more future gen... I do have a story planned out ,but it's really long and complicated and surprisingly dark, so it'll probably never actually happen. But I'll always love these goofy characters of mine.

Potter's Pentagon: The Past (Book Three) by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The final installment in the Potter’s Pentagon Trilogy. Read “The Five” and “The Truth” first, myess? Okay!

WARNING! Contains Muggle adventures in Diagon Alley, unusual eyebrows, cheesy clichés galore, psycho Ted, the not-so-lost years of Merlin, a school-wide singalong, the old potato joke, Tyrone’s Princess Bride obsession, Emma’s stubborn denial of the existence of Tyrone’s mustache, a graphic death, a joke shop product as a major plot device, hobo Jordan, Jordan hugging, Jordan pulling pranks, time travel, the Love Shack, angst, and worst of all, Professor Zabini.

It’s the sixth year for Potter’s Pentagon and company, and our heroes learn that in the wizarding world, coming of age has a somewhat weightier significance. Students are busy with an Inter-House Unity Project, Jordan is having weird dreams, Pansy and Ophidias Malfoy have been released from Azkaban, Professor Zabini has a mysterious project of his own, and almost everyone is acting strangely. Meanwhile, at the Ministry of Magic, a man with a vendetta against Ron Weasley is trying his hardest to get him in the biggest trouble possible. Is the only way to save him to travel into the past?

New talents are discovered, new friendships form and old ones change, pasts are dredged up, and, of course, there’s lots of good old-fashioned snogging. And one of the five kills for the first time… while another becomes a casualty of war.

Starring 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, Emma Weasley, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for 2008 Quicksilver Quills Best Post-Hogwarts Story.

I loved the entire trilogy so much i nread the whole thing in about a day.People probably thought that I was acting just like Jordan. My favorite character was probably Emma: she's pretty, but fierce and loyal. More girls need to be like her. When Haley started writing to LEE, it freaked me out and i skipped to the back and checked to make sure that it really wasn't a horcrux.I just want to commend( I must be channeling Jordan, I used commend) you on a great job.

Author's Response: Hahaha, thank you so much! And I love the references to acting Jordanesque. Luckily, I secretly love people like Jordan, so that does not bother me at all. :) I like writing Emma, too, but it's probably a GOOD thing that there aren't more girls like her, because that would be TERRIFYING, the world would probably implode! (Have you read Pride and Prejuiced Plums? It's from Emma's point of view, and quite silly.) Thanks once again! :D

The Gryffindor Gang by U-No-Poo

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Five students - Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, Scorpius Malfoy, Claudia Kelaney and Adam Finnigan. Five different stories. One house - Gryffindor.

Join The Gryffindor Gang, five unlikely best friends, as they enter Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as first year students. Throughout the year, they must overcome their own personal battles. Albus just doesn't seem to get out of his father's spotlight - will people treat him like himself, or as Harry Potter's son? Scorpius is dealing with his family too - being a Malfoy in Gryffindor isn't exactly peachy for him. Claudia's started slowly adjusting to the wizarding world, but will her sneaky, horrible roommate cause Rose and Claudia big trouble? And Adam's just not having the perfect start to Hogwarts that he'd have liked.

These are all trying problems when you're eleven years old. But their real test happens when danger is thrown into all five of their lives, threatening them all. Will they be able to face their biggest battle yet, and live to tell the tale?

This is Part One in The Gryffindor Gang Trilogy.

Wow. I love your story so much, but I can't stand all the cliff hangers. Update soon please!

Author's Response: Haha, cliff hangers were an invention for writers designed to make their readers go insane! They're my best friend, particularly in this story. Thanks for reviewing, I'll be updating shortly! :)

Little Lions by SexY_LydZ

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

On a stormy October evening, a letter, a late night trip to the library and a secret conversation lead Lily Evans to discover that there are several mysteries in her life that only she has the capability and the inclination to solve. The first mystery is James Potter – what could turn him from the arrogant, could-care-less boy that she had previously known to someone withdrawn and far away? Then, perhaps more troubling, there is Esther Collins, the fifth year who has vanished without a trace. Furthermore, one of Lily’s best friends, Izza, is seeing a mystery boy and Lily is determined to know who.

Then there is the threat of war, backstabbing friends and NEWT’s. A disinherited and emotionally battered Sirius Black is the source of heartache for his friends, except perhaps Izza, who, with her own terrifying family, might just understand him. Lily’s closest male friend, Remus Lupin, is hiding a dangerous secret from her. Peter’s girlfriend is screwing him over, and the whole time Lily is struggling to stop the people she loves from coming apart at the seams.

We'll Be Young Forever by Proserpina

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

“You and I, we'll be young forever!” *

After a long, interesting, sweltering summer the Marauders are back for their sixth year, and they feel as though their teenage lives have only just begun.

James has been pursuing Lily for years, and he sure as hell isn't going to give up now. Sirius might actually be falling in love (though of course that can't be possible, can it?), and Remus is struggling with problems in his own family. Meanwhile, Peter has to decide how much worth he can put on friends who he will never live up to. And then there's Lily Evans, a girl who's starting to fall for the very man she swore not to. Diana McKinnon, her best friend, keeps finding herself staring at a certain grey-eyed Gryffindor, even though every piece of logic she has tells her that he's trouble.

But even though there's the looming danger of NEWTs, pranks, oily Slytherins, and physical education, a much bigger problem has presented itself. The Marauders' sixteen-year-old world isn't the safe place it used to be. There are rumors of danger and dark magic throughout the school, and of a powerful dark wizard named Voldemort. The Gryffindor sixth years have to decide where their true allegiances lie and how much they are willing to sacrifice for a war that seems impossible to win.

*Title and quote taken from the lyrics of Katy Perry's summer hit Teenage Dream.

Note 3/26: Ok guys so I know that I haven't updated in forever, but I promise I'll finish the story! I'm struggling with some stuff, but hang in there, I haven't forgotten.

Lots and lots and lots of love, Olivia
