Well, I suppose that since I have my first few stories up on the boards, it would be good to create a bio. I am a crazy thirteen-year-old girl with a weird family, weird friends, and EXTREMELY weird imagination. I have been in love with the Harry Potter series for a bit more than two years now (I discovered it the day after Christmas when I was ten years old, about to turn eleven).

My first story on these archives is called Fighting For the Cause. It's about two completely different characters who have the typical Gryffindor-Slytherin hate-and-look-down-on-each-other sort of relationship until the Death Eaters take over Hogwarts. But you'll have to read it to find out more!

The Hungarian Horntail, my first poem, is about...well, you tell me. ;)

Mother Dearest is about Hannah Abbott and her mother. It was a big challenge for me, but hopefully it paid off....

My most recent story is Where They Can't Follow. I am especially proud of this one, and I'm trying extra hard to write it! It's my first Next-Gen story (focusing on Lily Luna Potter) and is a far cry from my original headcanon after reading the Epilogue, but I think that I like it better this way.

Anyways, I am working on a BUNCH of stories just for fun right now that I might post later on. Some of the featured characters include Voldemort, Narcissa Malfoy, and Teddy Lupin...although they aren't in the same story, but rather three different ones! I'll keep you posted about when I'm ready to submit them.

Well, enough of my blabbering! Why don't you go on ahead and scroll down to check out my published works?

Wow. This is pretty dark writing. I like how you incorporated the facts and such throughout the chapter, it really helps to break it down. Can't wait to hear more!

Awww! I recognized the name Patil, but I didn't even think about Parvati and Padma until later! I loveloveloveloveLOVED this. Fatastic job!

Author's Response: Why, thank you, Julie! I'm so glad that you liked this so much! Ah, yes, I was hoping people wouldn't guess Sanchita was Parvati and Padma's mother until the end. :D Thank you! *huggles*

I really liked this! Is this the same Andrea as in Sapphires?

Al's remark about the caterpillars mating was hilarious, by the way! ;D

Author's Response: Yayay, thank you Julie! I'm so glad you liked it. Lol about the comment, hehe. And yes, this is the same Andrea as in Sapphires. Thanks for reading! Your reviews always make me smile :).

Face Value by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: In life, we tend to look at things by their face value. We always want the better looking things: the more decorative and shiny objects have our undivided attention.

However, face value isn't everything. We must learn to look at inner beauty, as that is the most important thing in life.

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff writing for the Fairy Tale prompt in round three of the the One-Shot Triathlon at the Character Clinic.

This story is a sequel to 'Mum's the World' and I'd really suggest reading that first as it has the same OC, Anurag Krishnan, who is also a part of my chaptered fic, 'Where Are You?'

I really liked this! The chracter developement was fabulous, the plot was focused, and the writing was amazing as usual. :) My favorite part was when Anurag and his mother were arguing over pillows...even though it was sad it was something that my mom would do, and I could relate to Anurag's frustration. ^_^ At the same time, though, he seems to really love his mother.

I felt kind of sorry for Rashmi at the end, even though I am glad that Anurag learned such a valuable lesson. :P

Author's Response: Aww, thank you, Julie! The writing was so last-minute, you wouldn't believe it. I finished this ten seconds before deadline and started it two hours before said deadline. >.< Anurag and his mother have a special bond-- if you've read Mum's the World, you'll know. I was just continuing it in my story. :D And you're feeling sorry for Rashmi now? This is one of her best moments, lol. She's very unlucky in 'Where Are You?' Thank you, thank you sooo much for the fantastic review Julie! *hearts*

This scared me. In a good way! As usual you have managed to cature the perfect amount of darkness and twist it into something that others can enjoy. The final stanza gave me chills!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Julie!!!!!!!! :) I have absolutely enjoyed writing poetry, and I am always ecstatic to find that someone has enjoyed my work! Keep looking for the dark poetry- I have so many on the way (hopefully). *grins wickedly*

Kiss by HalfASlug

Summary: The trio's friendship hangs in the balance when one of them makes an unexpected move on another. Trio friendship fluff.

Oh my gosh! I nearly cried when I read this; it was so funny! I love how clueless Ron was! I also thought that Ron saying "this has only ever been a friendship!" was absolutely hilarious.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing :) Well, he didn't want Harry getting any ideas... Glad you enjoyed it!

The Aquavirius Maggot by Gred the Ravenclaw

Aww! This was very cute, and I liked your version of Rolf! ^_^

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Rolf was the character that I had to invent myself, so it's good to know that you like him!

When The Rose Fell by majestic_ginny, Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Rose Weasley’s sixth year at Hogwarts is going perfectly well. She is in love. She is in a wonderful, near-perfect relationship with Ben Defrost and she adores every moment of it. She has aced her OWLs and is doing brilliantly in her NEWTs. Her whole family is proud of her. Everything seems so perfect.

And then it all starts to go downhill.

Scorpius Malfoy may not have a perfect life, but he’s very happy with it. He enjoys being single and the absence of all the nagging from his ex. He is content with his position in the Slytherin Quidditch team and he has fresh new ways to bother the Potter-Weasley clan. He has kept his nose clean and his parents are happy with him.

Until he forms an unlikely friendship with a fallen Weasley.

Haha! I loved this!

Okay, let's start with Scorpius. I love him already. He's annoying, sarcastic, and gets all of the good lines. The line "this bititng cold you've all dam*ed us to die in" was absolutely hilarious! I also liked the ninja reference ;) The Lucius thing was totally believable and a bit sad.

On to Rose. I can already relate to her. She seema to be a smart, sensible girl much like Hermione. You can tell that she really does NOT like Scorpius (loved the implication that she would set James on him!) and I can't wait to see what changes that. I liked how she went to her best friend for everything and I really liked your Dominique!

The last line is leaving me (and many others, I am sure) eagerly awaiting more. Character developement is great and I love the plot already.

Author's Response:
Pooja: Sorry, Julie, that we're so late! You can Avada kedavra us if you like and I will accept it, promise! Anyway, I'm really glad you liked both Rose and Scorpius. I loved writing him like that. I've portrayed him in a lot of ways but this was new and very enjoyable. I have used a bit of Pottermore info in this chapter, actually, regarding the Malfoys. Ha, and I'm glad you enjoyed the jokes. Few people like my humour, understandable, as I don't have any of it. :/ As for Rose, that's Nadia's magic! She's the funny one among us and when I read how Nadia had written Rose, I giggled a lot. Update will take a while due to the chapter challenge and Nadia's hiatus, sorry! But thanks for reviewing!
Nadia: Sorry sorry sorry >.< Pooja and I are lazy bums and we kind of.... forgot :/. Sorry! *sends over chocolate cookies.* There! Hope that makes you happy :3. Ahem. Now onto my response! I'm really glad you loved both Rose and Scorpius. I really enjoyed Di's portrayal of Scorpius, for I always thought be exactly like that. An annoying, brooding little thing. Rose was really fun to write, too, and I never think that she's fall for Scorpius just like that without any hidden back story -- and that was the whole point of this fic. :) Dominique was a very cocky character, and I laughed while I wrote her. I don't know how good she was, but I really loved writing her. And updates.... *rubs hands* I don't know if we can before November, because I'm going abroad for a month and we've both had challenge stories and this could wait a bit. Hopefully we'll have another update in November. Thank you for your lovey reviews, Julie! They always manage to bring a smile on our faces. *squishes.*

Uncovered by Death by Equinox Chick

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: All Scorpius Malfoy had wanted on the Saturday before Halloween was to spend some time in Hogsmeade alone with his girlfriend, Lily Potter. But Fate appeared to have other plans. Not only is her annoying cousin Hugo Weasley tagging along, but in the aftermath of a violent storm, a body is uncovered.

Working with his boss, Head Auror Harry Potter, to discover the identity of the victim, and the truth of her death, Scorpius quickly learns that not all skeletons are buried underground.

This is a the sequel to High. It is not necessary to read that to understand this, but what the heck, you might just enjoy it!

Many, many thanks to Kara (Karaley Dargen) for not only beta'ing this story, but putting up with the tortuous search for a title.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling, but I think you know that.

Uncovered by Death won the 2013 QSQ for Best Chaptered Next Generation Story. Thank you very much.

Great start! The description of the body was grosteque and gave me chills. Hugo seemed very Ronnish (I am now declaring that to be a word) in this chapter--jealous, protective, awkward when it came to other people showing affection within his range of eyesight.

I am so excited that you're writing a sequel! I can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Yay! thank you very much. I'd had this story in mind for a while based on a few small things that happened in the last few chapters of High. Hugo is a bit Ronnish, but then I think he's miserable about Genister because he liked her rather a lot. I must make it up to him somehow. Thanks again ~Carole~
