hey, i'm sara, and i just adore harry potter! all seven books in the series are exquisite, and the fanfiction is generally pretty awesome too! some other favorite books of mine include: lord of the rings, pride and prejudice, wheel of time series, any books by shannon hale, terry pratchett, gerald morris or l.a. meyer, and many others that i'm inconveniently forgetting...
so, now that you know a little bit more about moi, i'll end by saying this little tid-bit: i love to read, i love to write and i love reviews. the three "r's". so how about i write, and you guys read and review, yes? great! oh, but please don't get angry at the three-month long gaps in between updates...
For all of you who wanted an update, I have a proposition. You may or may not like it, but it's all I can offer.

James and Lily Potter were possibly the most famous parents in wizarding history. We know alot about their adult life, but what do we really know about their childhood? Even Harry never knew about the Drama, jealousy, danger, friendships, happiness, sadness, resentment,confusion and love that his parents went through as children. Here, their lives, from when the two of them were eleven to when they were brutally murdered at only 21, is recorded. Lily and James Potter were unsung heros. This is their story.

WHAT the HECK is james DOING!!!!!!!! ok, apart from that small and insignificant question, i'd like to say that, despite a few grammer problems, you have me hooked. excellent story. and now another small and totally insignificant question, when are you updating again?
Author's Response: Well well well, hmm what IS James doing. Maybe we shall never know, It's funny that I have the power to just suddenly decide not to continue this story and leave you all wondering. Thankully (for you) I'm not like that. Great to know that you liked it!! The grammer problems are sort of unfixable at this point, because neither of my computers have a very good spell checker and I've combed out as many as I can! Well I put uo the ready-and-waiting-to-be-posted tenth chappie about ten minutes after chapter 9 was accepted, so counting on the fact that it will probably be rejected at least ten or so times, I should guess a few weeks. Pathetic, hey? ah well, it's all for the best I suppose. Thanks again!

oh goodness. that was excellent! it was very well written and eloquent and it addressed the problem of racism and hatred very bluntly but not roughly. very nice job, this is a wonderful piece.
HOLY COW!!!!!! that ending was so unexpected!!! Also I could imagine just perfectly voldy saying "she looked better back then too" about McGonnagal. Great start.

Basically, some mods, if they cant find anything actually wrong w/ the story, will grab something from the story, say it's OOC, and reject the story. thats wat's keeping ch. 7 from u guys. if it werent for OOC, u guys wud hav double the chapters u hav rite now. (i'm half-done w/ ch. 16 at the moment, and still trying to get ch. 7 to u guys).

Author's Response: yes, there will be several. the christmas chapter will definitely be pg13. anyway, i dont differentiate btwn the 2 much. thruout the story, there will be a bit of adult humor, and allusions to, well, u figure it out. if there's a lot of that in the chappie, i rate it pg13. the pg rating i put for the story is most of the story, including the 1st chapter. i dont believe in "rated r just 2 be safe". i hope it dusnt offend u, i'd hate 2 lose a reader, especially one who has already reviewed 4 times!
oh. my. god. that was great! and really sad :( poor harry, i could never live without my parents! i honestly cried, it was so sad! great job though, you really got everything right--that is, what i imagine harry would say. 10/10
oh my goodness. this was excellent! wow. it was very subtle and well written and exciting and wonderful! you really showed how war changes people so much, and even though it was sad that ginny didn't understand about hermione's baby, it was the truth. very surprising ending, i just hope everything works out alright for blaise and hermione! wonderful story, great job!
