hey, i'm sara, and i just adore harry potter! all seven books in the series are exquisite, and the fanfiction is generally pretty awesome too! some other favorite books of mine include: lord of the rings, pride and prejudice, wheel of time series, any books by shannon hale, terry pratchett, gerald morris or l.a. meyer, and many others that i'm inconveniently forgetting...
so, now that you know a little bit more about moi, i'll end by saying this little tid-bit: i love to read, i love to write and i love reviews. the three "r's". so how about i write, and you guys read and review, yes? great! oh, but please don't get angry at the three-month long gaps in between updates...

this is really good so far! you portrayed the characters really well, and it's nice to have a story begin in first year--lots start in seventh year, when all the "action" starts, but this explains in a good way why lily dislikes james. update soon!

I wanted to show how James and Lily came from such different backgrounds, and show how all the characters evolved as they got older. I'm glad you appreciate it! wow, this was a really powerful piece! the retelling of snape's love for lily was a bit too dramatic for me, but otherwise, it was well written and a good plot idea. the unsure ending especially was good, because you aren't sure if the order will accept snape, but it's not a cliffhanger, becuase you kind of intuitively know that they will. great job!
