My name is Ally V. I live in the northern hemisphere. I speak two languagues fluently, understand a third and I'm currently learning a fourth. I enjoy reading, interneting, swimming, playing badminton, and ultimate frisbee. My favourite HP character is Harry even though I probably can relate more to Hermione. I'm more of a Ron/Hermione shipper, but I enjoy reading and writing other ships as well as non romance stories. Awwww, what a cute ending. I'm glad Ron and Hermione got back together in the end and Miranda left and the Harry/Ginny side story was kind of nice too.

Author's Response: It had to be a "bittersweet leaning on pleasant" ending because otherwise readers might hurl grenades at me. A reader emailed me to let me know H/G romance fics are mostly lightbeat happy themes, so he told me I chose the wrong couple to showcase such emotional angst. I just didn't know this. I'll take a break after this one. Maybe my next fic will be the Oliver spinoff I've always wanted to write. Since Oliver is an adult, I guess I can do all kinds of things to him. LOL. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

I liked how this story was written in Hedwig's point of view. Its funny how she talks about the other owls and how weird she thinks humans are. It would be even better if there was more Harry/Hermione romance in it.
Author's Response: Thing is that I didn\'t want my first fic to be purely fluff... I needed to get a sense that some people like lots of fluff and others are more into the action...

I like this version of the Yule Ball with Ron ending up with Hermione instead of the two of them arguing. Too bad it isn't like that in the books. Great fic! =)
