Hello there =)
I love this site and I'm sure that I'll be here quite frequently due to the release of the absolutely amazing Deathly Hallows. I love all canon ships, my favorites being Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, and just recently, James/Lily. I don't mind a mild bit of Lily/Severus now either. I mostly read on here, but I'm planning to do some writing too once ideas strike me. Enjoy!

Wonderful. You know, I was actually thinking of writing a fic about Shiver, because its always reminded me so much of James and Lily! Well I'm happy I didn't because this was amazing, and I don't think that I could have compared. Since Jo Rowling also loves Coldplay, maybe she was inspired by this song. Hahaa, most likely not.

Another absolutely amazing story. Spectacular job! I can only hope that the end turns out like this. It's funny how you said how you're just about ready for HBP, and how there's only one more coming after this. Only two weeks until the end in this point of time. Well anyway, this fic is definetely one of my favorites, and there have been so many to compare it with. =)

They're also about to have a pretty interesting year--complete with a few detentions, pranks, confusion, and laughter--in which they get through school, make some trouble and maybe, just maybe, sort out their feelings for each other.
Thanks to all you who have made it possible for this story to be in the Top Tens. It was a very happy moment when I first saw my story on the list, and I love being able to go back and see it there now. Still. Yay!
Throughout the latter half of 2010, and the first half of 2011, I re-edited this story. The changes were mostly to fix stray (and annoying) grammar and spelling errors, but also to rework some plot points in an effort to stay truer to canon. I also updated the style; having written this story so long ago, my writing has definitely developed (and I would say gotten better), so I edited to reflect that. (I apologize for the errors that were in the story before all this editing. I found them immensely distressing when I reread my chapters. Heartbreaking, really.)
Big “thank yous” go to the three people who helped edit/nitpick the first edition of this novel: violagirl, fairiesandcream, and Omagus.

Of course, as a disclaimer, I’m not JK Rowling. The Potterverse does not belong to me, but I am in it and love it.

Love the story. Usually I wait until I'm reading a long fic like this to review, but I couldn't resist commenting about your note about Captain Jack Sparrow and Sirius. I happen to absolutely LOVE that line of his in the movie. And also the two Marauders. Wouldn't Johnny Depp play the perfect Sirius. Too bad he's not British. Haha, sorry about my crazy ramblings. But anyway... Amazing work. I know this was written pre-DH, but it would be absolutely perfect if the bit about Lily and Snape could have been in here. But of course I don't blame you. Well, just a couple more chapters to go!

ANd yeah, it was written pre-DH, so the Snape/Lily part\'s not in there, and honestly- I didn\'t think that they EVER liked each other. It was suprising to me when i read it. B/c I mean, I didn\'t agree with it. That\'s kinda why she punches Snape in that chapter. And I have actually thought about changing that around a bit when i get around to editing, finally. So, maybe one day you\'ll get your wish. :-S Couple more chapters- enjoy them!

Wow. This is probably the best fan fic I've ever read, and I have read many great ones to compare it with. I would be very surprised and disappointed if JKR didn't use half of the ideas in this story for The Deathly Hallows. I feel like this is a sneak peek into what the book is going to be like. I will certainly read this one repeatedly until the last book comes out because I'm sure this is the closest anyone can get to it at the moment. All of your amazing ideas for the plot seemed to be carried out precisely in the way it was supposed to. I think it had the same balance of romance, action, and angst as the original Harry Potter books. Well, there might be a little more romance, but I'm not complaining! It was all played out in way I agreed with. My only question is from the chapter when Dudley says what he saw during the dementor attack in the OotP. I thought that dementors made people think of their worst memories, not their worst fears. Since I doubt that the Dursley's ever put Dudley in Harry's cupboard I think you may have written that wrong. But other than that this fic is perfect! I can't wait to read your other works. Thank you so much for writing such a magnificent story. It has been a pleasure reading it! =D
