Heart-Talk by velvet

Rated:
Summary: This is a one-shot about the strong friendship between Padfoot and Prongs, or better yet, Sirius and James. Sirius writes a letter to James on the eve of his wedding. These are the thoughts and advice of a marauder who's friendship with his best friend will last until the end. Please give it a chance, it'd be much appreciated!

A beautiful letter...truly touching, but not corny. A bit of a slide for Sirius, but in a great direction and most definitely not to the point where he's out of character... we all have those sentimental times, don't we? You captured Padfoot in a remarkable form. Tremendous work!

Compelling, tragic, beautiful, WICKED! Very well done, I enjoyed it! You incorporated my favorite broadway musical into what I would consider a remarkable telling of Tom Marvolo Riddle's downfall. Excellent, truly excellent!

Author's Response: Oh, Merlin...I don't know what to say...Um, *struggles to think of an adequate response to such a wonderful review* thank you very, very much for such an uplifting review!!!

I just have to say, I heaved a very deep sigh after reading your short story. Well done! I especially love Harry's victory (especially since I'm a Harry/Ginny shipper!)

My son, my beautiful son...

Obliviate him…

And do you know what he did then? He laughed. He stood there and laughed.

Compelling...but sad! Sirius is one of my favorite characters, and Wormtail one that I love to loathe. Very well written, the personalities and characterization are right on target. I've gained greater connection to the characters! Thank you!

Well written and compelling and though tragic, the short story is very uplifting. You have portrayed your character's thoughts well and brought him to life vividly. Thank you for your great talent.

Hogwarts, A Beginning History - By Helga H. by Scheherazade

A One-Shot Monologue Challenge fic by Scheherazade of Hufflepuff!
Reviewer: Hero London Signed
Date: 03/10/06 Title: Chapter 1: Long, long ago...

I enjoyed it! I think you truly captured the sweet nature of Helga Hufflepuff! (and, if I may say, the shrewd and sometimes devious nature of Salazar Slytherin). I liked the light air of the narrative, though I would like to hear a bit more of what happened after the opening of Hogwarts. Perhaps another chapter? Nevertheless, well done!

Author's Response: Hi! Thanks for the R&R! As for the second chapter, I'll have to sit down and write something for the story. If you don't mind waiting a little bit, then yeah, I could do a second chapter. :-)

Right Here by Grimmrook

Summary: My First Fanfic. A songfic based on the song "Right Here" by Staind. At Bill and Fleur's wedding, Ron and Hermione have one last row.

This fic is the true beginning of the Epilogues story arc, and should be the first of my fics that you read. After this story, please read One Good Day. Thank you.

Very well done! I'm a hopeless romantic and a huge Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny worshipper! Your fanfic brought a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. Thank you for your great talent!

Author's Response: Sorry I haven't responded to this until now, I try and answer all my reviews. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I really enjoyed writing it, and there was a kind of release because for that song in particular, I have it melded in my mind with the HP romances, and it just felt so right putting something out there that finally puts the two together. That and I absolutely loved putting Ron and Hermione together like that. I think that when you get a chance to read the entirety of "One Good Day" (which I'm queuing up as we speak), it'll become obvious that I love to write emotions. That's what gets me, when you're writing and you feel it, and when you're characters are wanting to cry, you cry and everything just connects.
