Hi, my name is Sophie, I prefer sports usually soccer, basketball, and running. I really prefer reading fanfiction to writing it, but i certainly try. I absolutely love Harry Potter, Grey's Anatomy, and pretty much anything Meg Cabot writes.

Excerpt from Chapter Twenty Three - A Second Chance
Professor Lupin walked over and sat down at the foot of his daughter’s bed.
“How are you?” he asked, watching his daughter carefully.
“Fine,” she answered, although she could have been better.
“How could you-,”
“Please dad,” Rachael cut him off. “Sirius already gave me the ‘how could you’ lecture.” Professor Lupin smiled.
“Did he now?”
“Yes and he got through to me pretty well.”
“Good, I just hope you know never to do something like that again.”
“I’m not going to, Mum’s not worth it.” Professor Lupin clicked his tongue.
“You can’t say that,” he said quietly, getting up and heading for the door. “Everyone deserves a chance to change. Just as you tried to prove that to your mother, one day she’s going to prove it to you. Everyone deserves a second chance.”

Wow, this chapter was extremely well written. The description is strong, and you manage to fit everything together. Harry's desperation to go back is so sad. The fact that he wants to go back for his friends, makes it that much more touching. Also I love the memory that Dumbledore shows Harry. Snape stays in character the whole time, but still manages to be human. It's amazing how the all the different ties fit together. Very well written!

This is a really good story so far. The conversation between Snape and Harry is extremely well written and keep both of them in character.
The line, "Do you fear death, Harry Potter?" Is amazing. It just gives me shivers. It's so easy to imagine him saying that. The description that you give after that line is amazing. It makes me want to just give him a big hug. ;)
It completely justifies the conclusion he comes to. Keep up the great work!

Wow, I really did like how you incorporated the veil into the final battle. Also, even though it does sound a bit weird, I really liked how many people died. It really does prove how horrible the war was. While I was suprised that Harry used an unforgivable curse, I'm glad that he felt remorse about it in the end.
Just one nitpick, when all the people are coming out of Voldemort's wand, Dumbledore would appear much later than he did if it's HBP compliant, which I think it is. Other than that however, I really enjoyed reading this. Keep up the good work!
