I decided that I wanted to revamp my entire bio, considering how long it was getting. Be warned that this bio CONTAINS DEATHLY HALLOWS SPOILERS.
So hi! I'm Jerri, also known as Just Tink- as in, you can JUST call me TINK. I answer to Tink, JT, and Jerri, but if you want to make up another, cooler nickname you're welcome to. As you can see, I love Disney- though not as much as Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived Even Though He Died. Sort Of.
So how AWESOME was Deathly Hallows? I mean, really. Best book ever, by far. I cried for about twenty-four hours straight, but other than that I really couldn't have been happier with it. Because- "They were SNOGGING!" =)
Currently I have finished writing my chaptered fic, Late Bloomer, (!!!!), and as soon as I can beta it I'll get it up on the site. As my beta is a mod (and a fantastical one at that) it may still be awhile, but there will be no two month lulls- I promise.
I also have two chaptered romance fics in the works- one, a Percy/OC, that disregards DH, and one, a Victoire Weasley centric fic called 'Offending Her Highness' that is chock-full of spoilers. OHH will be up soon as a one-shot, and after Late Bloomer is finished I'll work on expanding it. My Percy fic is still in the early stages of development, so expect OHH to be worked on first. I'd also like to get some new humor stories up, as well as expanding on plot bunnies given to me by DH- I'm itching to write missing moments from that book.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the stories I have up! (And for the record, I love the Quicksilver Quills and if nominated will probably fall down dead. But since that is unlikely, I urge everyone to get over to the boards and nominate their favorite stories! Yes, even if they're not mine. Your favorite story's author will probably give you cookies.)
Very funny! an excellent caracterization of all the Marauders. I can't help but wonder if Romeo and Juliet will be involved... excellent work!
Author's Response: No, no, not Romeo and Juliet... *evil cackle* at least not when all\'s said and done... thank you. I really enjoyed writing it and it was an outlet for my very random ideas. Cheers, Mollie
Bloody brilliant, to say the least! I must say one of my favorite characters in the story is Peter- you didn't ignore him like so many authors do. 'At night?' made me laugh every time... and I think Sirius will make an excellent bohemian! Can't wait for an update- 10/10.
Author's Response: Yay! I got a \"bloody brilliant,\" which is so what I was going for! I\'m glad I wasn\'t alone in seeing Sirius as a potential bohemian, either. And, ugh, I know I said I had the next chapter in line, but it never got approved and I also never got a rejection e-mail, so I\'ll try again. Cheers, Mollie
oh... wow. That's so sad! I suppose I never entertained the possibility that Harry would be left like the Longbottoms, but it was heart-wrenching. Excellent story.
I really think this is the best contest submission for this challenge. I almost cried- and keep in mind I rarely cry. But I was shaking all over when I was done with this story, and that only happens when I read or see something really, really good. Excellent job- 10/10.
Author's Response: Thank so much! Your review makes me what to cry for joy. Thank you so much!
oh.... that was so sad. I've got tears now. The freaky thing about it is that I had a dream similiar to this last night... but never mind- that just proves you have a knack for connecting with people. Fabulous job.
Author's Response: Wow, that is freaky. Thanks for saying I connected with people. I guess I do. But yeah, sorry I made you sad! Thanks for reviewing!
heehee... very funny. I especially liked Harry's line at the end... "your sunburn and hair are so red, people mistook you for a tomato and tried to put you in their salad." classic! And Malfoy, too, was well written. Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I\'m glad Malfoy was well-written, though, as another reviewer pointed out, he was a bit out of character with listening to Hermoine talk. But, I think I made up for it the rest of the time.
lol! Very funny. I particularly enjoyed Neville, because let's face it- he's never even seen much in cliched fics. In fact, I think this fic was so cliched that it went full circle and became original again! Great work!
Author's Response: Haha! I like the sound of that. It was sooo cliched that it became original again. Thanks for the review! PS: Neville for president!
wow. just... wow. This was an excellent portrayal of lost love and hope through the ages... Chloe was extremely realistic of a character- who hasn't gone through what she has, even if it is to less of an extent? congratulations on your win- you definetely deserved it!
Author's Response: Wow, thanks! I\'m so glad you liked it! Mucho gracias for the wonderful comments!
aw, that was so cute! Sad at the end, though, when Lily is thinking of how they would "start a family and watch our children grow." that part gave me tears. Excellent job!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I\'m glad you enjoyed!
sounds interesting so far! The fight between Ron and Hermione was very realistic- well done! Fred and George are written realistically, and that's something that alot of people have trouble doing. Looking good!
Author's Response: yay! Thank you so much! I\'m glad that you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading/reviewing!!! I\'ll have more soon hopefully!! :D
that's so sweet! I've always been a Katie/Oliver shipper, but I'd never found anybody who shared that with me... You captured the passion and embarrasment of the moment very well, and I really enjoyed the last line. Great job!
Author's Response: Aha! Yes, I think I am officially a Katie/Oliver shipper now. Heh. This ship often has a lot of humour going with it. Thank you!
wow. absolutely... wow. This is the only story of it's kind that I have ever read, but I absolutely loved it. It was bittersweet, with just the right amount of tenderness and emotion and... wow. just wow. great job!
Author's Response: Yay!
what a cool story! It's difficult to find good historical stories, but you nipped this one in the bud. You captured the spirit of the twenties very well, and I must say I like the idea of the muggle obsession going back several generations. excellent job!
yay! It's baaaack..... that was a bit creepy but still awesomeness squared. Snape was written very well IC, especially for a humor fic, where I admit that doesn't happen often. Can't wait for an update!
Author's Response: Awesomeness squared. That\'s so cool. And the in-characterness threw me off a bit too, but it sort fo happened, as I\'d been rereading OotP. He usually is OOC, what with swearing up a storm, chucking knives, and hooking up with Bella (oh wait, that didn\'t happen. Meh).
oh, wow! Great story! I'm not usually a fan of Harry/ginny, because frankly Ginny gets on my nerves alot, but you made me glad for book six's romance with this story. Ginny was characterized very well- the wheedling was just like we've seen come out more in the last couple of books, and Slughorn was just like, well... Slughorn! It was an excellent story, even though it didn't have Drew in it. (Just kidding about the Drew part.) Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks Tink! i\'m glad I relieved your dislike of H/G... at least for a while. I actually enjoy Ginny\'s character, and since she hasn\'t come in yet in EEIF, I wanted to do something with her in it... even if there was an excessive use of pronouns. I just felt like writing it that way. Drew would have been kind of hard to put in, seeing as EEIF is a future generation twentyfirst century fic, and this was Ginny\'s seventh year... Tell you what, though. I\'ll work him into my next one-shot somehow, even thought it\'s Angsty R/Hr with no relevance to my other stories at all.... because you asked so nicely. and I like to torment Joe. thanks for reviewing this, too!
aw, so sad its over! And Harry Potter as BlondeD... didn't see that one coming... but I suppose I was PARTIALLY right about it being Dudley. Sort of. I guess. You should write a sequel where Voldemort goes on a live radio show from Azkaban (The Kaban Cabana) and discusses how he was deeply affected by his carpal tunnel syndrome.
Jerri
Author's Response: Hmm... I was thinking of doing something of a talk show for a sequel... but I would have Voldemort sitting and watching it in St. Mungo\'s and interjecting with snide comments.
Wow, Shmergo, that was... interesting, to say the least. =) It definetely has a Lemony Snicket ring to it... Personally, I enjoy the pup culture references I only would have gotten recently (your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries) having seen Monty Python for the first time a few weeks ago. I don't know if you still accept Voldy questions, but even if this is answered in a review response I would be completely thrilled:
Dear Volder-Shoulder,
I want to join the Death Eaters, but I don't know how! The nearest 'Death Eaters Anonymous' (DEA for short) chapter is in Europe, and as I am an American muggle it could be problematic. Any tips on how to found my own?
I love you and you love me,
Jerri.
Author's Response: Tee-hee! I\'m so glad that you recently saw Python...
I\'m not taking questions anymore, but Voldy will answer this one for you specially right now:
Dear Jerri,
You can always join the American branch, the Death Devourers. You can find branches at most country clubs. (What, you don\'t think they actually golf and do other boring country-clubby things, do you?)
Love,
Voldy
Okay, sorry, but I'm going to insist on spamming your review page with my theory- BlondeD is DUDLEY DURSLEY! *admiring gasps* Waiting for confirmation in the next chapter!
Author's Response: Interesting theory! You shall seeee, my friend...
Oh, wow. Absolutely stunning. I jumped on this story when I saw the lyrics to 'For Good' in the summary, and I didn't regret it once. I've always thought the song would be excellent in some sort of song fic (I'm a HUGE Wicked fan myself) but could never get a good enough plot bunny going for it... I'm glad you did! I always thought Snape was pure evil, but now... I'm not so sure. Excellent story!
Author's Response: At first I debated over several people for this song fic: I thought about doing the trio first, and then I considered Hermione and Ginny for a while...I knew that Dumbledore and Severus was the winning pair when I thought of them though. I\'m so pleased I made you question Snape\'s character. :) Thanks for the lovely review!
oh my gosh, I can barely breather from laughing so hard! I wasn't sure about reading this when I saw the description, but it sounded unique so I thought I would give it a try. Not riddled with jokes like some fics, admittedly, but one still has me laughing (in fact, it was the first time I've laughed out loud to a fanfic in a couple of months)- when Harry pulled out the 'that was easy' button. My latin teacher had the same button and liked to press it all the time, and I never got tired of sneaking behind the podium during Latin Club (yes, I am a dork) and pressing the button. This brought back great memories and made me have a laughing fit! 10/10!
