I may not be leaving MNFF after all. There are some things that may need to be hashed out, but assuming we can come to an amicable compromise, I would be more than pleased to keep all of my stories up here.

To Be This Lost Inside Ourselves by hpmaniac666

Rated: Professors •
Summary: All Hermione wanted was a cup of coffee. Now she has wet hair, a see-through t-shirt, and a whole lot of unhappy memories. How have the years changed Ron. Now he’s 24 and a successful business man/mechanic. It’s a lot to get her head round. To make things worse, feelings she used to keep locked away are proving harder to hide. She can’t forget about Harry. And she can’t forget her fiancé. Post-war fic

Again, another story I read before joining the corps of authors, so here is a very belated review. This has got to be probably one of the best adult life fics I've read. Creative, and satisfyingly dark, the only hiccup throughout was the slight confusion of the action towards the end. Still, the narrative is so brilliant, you can easily look over that. I'd put your stories on my favorites list, but I think it's easier to just put you up as one of my favorite authors (I believe that makes you the first). Please don't forget to check out One Good Day, and please leave a review (especially for chapter five when it comes out). And keep your eyes out for Epilogues, Part I: Shadows... Especially as I think that story was in part inspired by some of the things you've done here.

Author's Response: Thank You Twice :D

Author's Response: Wow thank you! I love big reviews! I know there's been some confusion at the end, probably because I was running out of steaming and intent on wrapping it up! But I'm so glad you prasied the narrative because that's usually my hiccup! And I'm so honoured to be on your favourites athours!!!! And I've read both your fics and just not got round to reviewing One Good Day yet. But I will! Thanks again XXXXX

Hot Dogs by hpmaniac666

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: 6 year old Ron is a curious boy. What will he find when he wanders out into the muggle world. Hot Dogs? Or something else he'll come to treasure? Short One-shot! Rejoice! For the epilogue is in the queue!
Reviewer: Grimmrook Signed

Okay, that was brilliant. Everything leading up to the burrow was good. Very good, nice and wrap up-y. I would think that maybe Hermione would catch on a little quicker, maybe, and have maybe a bigger reaction. Okay, look there are lots of things to do there. But from the moment you start at the Burrow on, flawless (okay, couple of typo type stuff), but I mean seriously. Characterization... perfect. Imagery, perfect. I just... Only me. Only I can spend so many words to say I'm speechless. Go figure.

Author's Response: Aw thank you, I\'m glad you liked it. I think I get what you mean about Hermione but I can hardly remember everything about this fic now, lol....and yeah, typos, oh well.... THanks!!!! xxxxx

I read this one a long time ago, and it's one of the few fics that I've read that I still remember just from the title. Unfortunately, I wasn't an author back then, and didn't understand the value of leaving a review. I do now, and here you go. I still love this story, I can't wait to get the time to read the epilogue. Absolutely precious, and refreshingly original. You get a very rare ten out of ten from me for it.

Author's Response: Thank you :D It's nice when people can remember fics, that's one of the biggest compliments! So thanks. Glad you enjoyed!!!! :D XXXXXXXXX

The Ribbon by Monster Book of Monsters

Aw... that was absolutely cute.

Actually I think I remember reading this one quite a long time ago...

Author's Response: And you didn\'t review? tsk tsk

The Thoughts of Tabitha by mugglegurl

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Meet Tabitha, the fourteen year-old daughter of Harry and Ginny Potter. What happens when she finds herself attracted to the son of her father's worst enemy? Along with a set of new characters, and the return of some old ones, this teen will find the meaning of friendship and family.
Reviewer: Grimmrook Signed
Date: 03/14/06 Title: Chapter 1: On the Hogwarts Express

Not bad at all. Thought it was pretty funny watching Ginny turn into her mother before my eyes, and your Tabs is already showing some hints of both her mother and father early on in the narration. Keep going.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for responding! The next chapter is in queue.

Author's Response: Alright, sorry. YOU were my first reviewer... Okay, just a little mess up!

A Glint of Gold by hpmaniac666

Nicely done, steamy, but not so much so. Also quite nice how you didn't fall into the same trap that so many others fall into by making the same tired arguments as to why Ginny should go off with them too. You played them both very well.

Author's Response: Thank You. I'm glad you've been checking out my fics, even gladder you've enjoyed them! Thanks for reviewing XXXX

Er-my-nee by Ravensgryff

Gonna do the constructive criticism thing here, and that's because you have some pretty solid stuff in here, and there's a lot of promise. For one, your dialogue is pretty good, and your Ron and Hermione can be really good, but there is something holding you back. Like several people before me, what really keeps your good Ron and Hermione from being great is the speed. it's much too fast. You got the idiosyncracies down, and the dialogue for the two characters, but we just aren't given the time to really get into them. The one that really needs work is Harry. I think Harry isn't going to be both as straight forward and wordy. If he's going to get to the point, he's going to get to the point in as few words as humanly possible. More likely, he's gonna stammer and beat around the bush, and kinda hope that Hermione gets the point. Other than that, I have two tiny little nitpicks. One is inconsequential, and that's the bacon. If memory serves, English bacon is ham, ie. not really the kinda stuff that breaks off. I'm American, so I could be wrong, but when I ordered Eggs and Bacon in England, I got eggs and ham. So. The other nitpick I have actually gives you an oppurtunity to really amp this story up. When I read the last line, I said to myself "huh?" I don't remember reading any confusion in Hermione's mind over Ron's utterance. What that means is that you either didn't explain it, or you just rushed through it. But here's an idea. You can really flesh out Hermione a lot more if you spend some time qualifying your last sentence. She says she thought Er-my-nee meant something else... Well, have some bits in there where she's trying to justify all the things that Ron could have been trying to say other than "Hermione". I think if you do that, we'll not just get some really great Hermione characterization (which is your best characterization in this story btw), but you could fill the story out in general.

I hope I wasn't too terribly harsh. I did still like it, and think you did some things very well.

YAY!!!! Actually, damn, I wanted to be the first reviewer, but I had no idea you were posting it here too! And I want to know how it ends, but nooooo I don't even get that. Ah well, lovely start, loved working on it... can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Believe me, when I know how it\'ll end, you\'ll be the first to know. ^_~

One Krum Too Many by hpmaniac666

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

Sigh, and I so wanted to be the first review. Ah, anyway. I loved reading this one, and working with you on it. I thought it was good then, but the changes you've made. I really don't have much I can say... I love this version. Sheesh, I've read it before and I can't wait to read the next part!!!

Author's Response: LOL, Thanks for all your help! You\'re a star! Glad you enjoyed XX

WOOOOHHOOO!!!! Okay, great. I loved the changes, subtle, and yet made a world of difference. Honestly, the two things that make this fic are the tension, you do so well (I mean in the scenes where they aren't fighting), and I have really loved what you did with Ron and Harry's relationship. I love how you bring that friendship out; very realistic. The last Mrs. Weasley bit: well done, and incidentally, gives that last line more punch. This one was fun, thanks C

Author's Response: Oh, I aim to please! And thank god it\'s finally up. I would have cried if I had to submit it again... yeah the Mrs Weasley bit I liked but I pondered for ages on how I could word it so that it didn\'t seem like Harry was standing there watching them for ages like a pervert ... think I got there in the end. Thanks a load for reviewing ... I\'m just impressed you brought yourself to read it again! And is C the new name. Taking away the complications eh? I like it! xxx

Damn, someone beat me to the first review. YAY! It's up! Woohoo. And after all my naysaying, 'parcel of doom' did the trick. You got a chuckle out of me... FRIEND! I love the final draft, and I loved working on it with you, but thank you for the author's note. Now, I wonder how many other people will, like me, see how brilliant the word "pointy" is, much like I wonder when I'll get to see chapter 2... FRIEND!

Author's Response: LOL ...okay, okay. I get the hint.

Well, first, I must say that I have gotten so used to writing thank you so much, that was the first thing I nearly typed in this box. Second, I must say that I am officially blushing beyond control. i mean, I think I'm a shade of purple which isn't very common with my skin tone... You did a wonderful job, Deanna, and listen, it could have been really easy for you to walk away and post, and you know what, you instead put on one serious ass work ethic and wrote a kick ass chapter, and I'm seriously proud of you. So thank you for writing this, and for putting up with me.

Finally I get to be the first reviewer for one of my authors!!!! Rock on! Well, looks like we got it on the second try, didn't we? I love what you do in this opening sequence, and you really do give it a full on novel like quality to it. I really wish I would have read the summary though, because no I'm really hooked. Where's chapter two dammit!!!!! Okay, things I love about this. ginny's naughty, Nettle rocks, your description is well timed and brilliant, and you have no shortage of suspense already, and apparently we haven't even gotten to the meat of the matter. can't wait for more.

Author's Response: Thanks a bunch man, if not for you it wouldn\'t even be here. Yeah that summary is a very truncated version of something that will be coming up much later on, hopefully its inticing. I\'m gonna pound out the rest of chapter two tonight. Two is kinda complicated so it\'s taken a few go throughs. So yeah, thanks, first review, YAY!

It's like CSI only put in the hp verse, and void of extreme suckage. I found the barrier thingy particularly interesting, a great bit of invented magic that serves extremely well without falling into the realm of Deus ex machina. That's to say, if you had made it a flawless invention, it would have sucked hard, but just the fact that it's not totally reliable, or that it can be misinterpretted, etc. really lends it a sense of authenticity. Also, I'm growing more and more impressed with yout interpretation of Harry. He's obviously more mature than he was in the books, but at the same time, his intensity is still there. as I review the way he goes through the crime scene, I'm reminded of Ron's birthday in hbp. When harry get's onto something, he's nearly incapable of distraction, and you show that well here. And of course, another cliffhanger, which is exciting in more ways than one. For one, it seems your starting a pattern of cliffing the end of every chappy, which means there will be lots of suspense to come, and for another, I'm very curious to see what you do with the twins. Can't wait to see how the next chapter shapes up. Later dude. K

Author's Response: You and your long reviews, you\'re just trying to make me write a long response. Eurgh. My folks are obsessed with crime shows, so I\'ve seen hundreds of episodes of Law & Order and CSI. The thing that kills me about them is how perfect and reliable everything always is, and everything always gets wrapped up nice and neat in the one hour alloted time slot. So when I decided to make this partly crime drama it was important for everything not to be squeaky clean and infallible. The Barrier is one of a few inventions that will be coming along in this story, so I wanted it to be both impressive and a total piece of crap at the same time. As for Harry that\'s how I see him in the books, he gets very into whatever he thinks may be going on. And right now in this story he has no idea what\'s going on, so the obsession is becoming more intense. It will get much worse before this story concludes. I\'m not sure if having a cliffy at the end of each chapter is going to be par for the course, but so far it\'s been the best way to end each one. But building the tension and suspense is very important to me so I\'d say it\'s safe to say that there will be more cliffhangers in the future. Alright man, thanks for the awesome review.

Such a pity you couldn't have just named this, "The Boob Fic." Oh well. And of course, who could ever get tired of being called intelligent and sexy, and all that other awesome stuff (you left out mesmerizing dear, but I won't hold it against you). Okay, okay, I'll get to actually reviewing. What can I say, you know how much I respect you as a writer. You're voice, as always, is smooth and easy to follow, and the structure is perfect for a fic like this; episodic thereby perfectly weighting each and every punchline. And of course there was that one blow you took in regards to the recap, but then you handled it admirably... see, told you it would work. At once this story is uproariously funny, something i admire. Believe it or not, comedy is a very difficult and fine art. Any jackass with a decent vocabulary that is comfortable in their own voice can write dramatic, but to be able to blend drama with comedy, that's talent as comedy is so technical and requires an understanding of rhythm and flow, and such things, so the fact that you blend them so well together, that's just impressive. And you do. On the surface this fic is intended to be just a light comedy, but there are undertones there, there's that hint of a sweet kind of love the kind of love shared by two people who aren't just romantically devoted to one another, but who are also really good friends as well. So often have a seen relationships where, no matter the length of time spent together, the two people involved could never be as relaxed as this. So in the end it does warm the heart. There's so much to speak about this, still, like the characterization which is amazing. As anna said we're not stuck in the same Hogwarts version of the characters, a flaw so many fanfic writers are guilty of. Instead we are treated to versions that grew up, matured, and changed, as all people do, and you did it very well. It really is a pity that so few people have reviewed this, far too often have I seen good works ignored by rantings of fanservice and massively chaptered excersizes (I will never be able to spell that word) in suckage. in other words... I loved it.

Author's Response: I love you :D

Brilliant and hilarious as usual. I already wrote a review, got timed out, forgot to copy and paste, and therefore, I'm back at it again. Stupid thing. OKay, here's my question. "Hello Mr. Voldemort Sir. In the stories I'm currently writing, you're already dead (sorry about that), and one of the themes we explore is the iea that you may not have grown up to be such a ruthless killer had you only had a decent childhood. I was wondering what your thoughts on this were. Also, (sigh) my girlfriend wants to know: boxers or briefs?"

Author's Response: Thank you! I HATE it when my lovely long reviews get deleted, don\'t you? Thanks for the question!

Again, well done! You've got satire down pretty well, and Bellatrix answering in typical internet moron speech is a nice touch. You had me audibly laughing several times at this, and you haven't made me regret getting email updates to this at all.

Author's Response: Ah, thank you! Unfortunately, satire infiltrates everything from my school essays to my debate team responses to ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I WRITE. I once tried to do a dark/angsty fic, and it turned into something even goofier than this.

Reviewer: Grimmrook Signed
Date: 09/29/06 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Don't Try This At Home

Holy crap! First off, I haven't reviewed anything in a very long time, I haven't even read other people's fanfiction in a very long time, so there you go. Voldemort blog entry? Yup, must read. And now that I have, I'm dying laughing. Brilliantly done. I love how you merged the two worlds together to an exacting comedic effect, from the strange internet babble to the yellow ranger situation, it flows like a real blog, which gives you a comedic double whammy; satire on the blogging internet culture, and the absurdity of a super villain doing something so banal. I really hope to see more of this.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I\'m surprised that someone who seems as intelligent as you would be interested in this bizarre little story... I got the idea from... well, it was a product of my diseased imagination, but it was inspired by the Spoofed Diary of Tom Riddle on www.cosforums.com. The funny thing is, I am not allowed to get involved with blogs because they\'re dangerous, so I know nothing about them. It\'s nice that this actually resembles one, then!
