I love Harry Potter. But, then again, who on this site doesn't? Hermione and the Marauders are my favorite characters, but Tonks is cool too. Even though the fanfics on MuggleNet are really awesome and creative, the best fanfic in the history of the world is found at http://community.livejournal.com/shoebox_project/?skip=30
Beware of some swearing.
That is absolutely fabulous! I love the way you've gone about putting Ron and Hermione together! This is a definite fave of mine, although I wasn't sure about Ginny's death at first. But I realized how absolutely genius you are, as it ties the story together. Definite 10!
Author's Response: Thanks for your review!!
Pretty good chapter, still love the story! You've got a great plot going here, even though I picture Hermione as a little more sensitive.
Author's Response: When I wrote the scene, I pictured her as feeling betrayed by everyone around her, and I thought she would react in this way, seeming as how friends are such a big part of her life. Thanks for your review!!
ZOMGEE!! You don't know how excited I am that you updated! Again, another great chapter, and way to leave us hanging...
Great job! ^^
All I have to say is excellent, excellent, and pure genius. Andrea fits right in at Hogwarts! I also love that you're writing a marauders fanfic...
Another amazing chapter! It must have been hard to write after the Exit, but you did a great job! I love the UFFC; it's a very nice touch. Thanks for another great chapter! :10:
Author's Response: Thanks for your review! I\'m glad you enjoyed the UFFC...it\'s something I\'ve had in my head for months, and it\'s a lot more than it seems to be at this point... It was difficult to write this chapter, seeing as there is a severe lack of George. I\'m just glad that I\'ve got at least a solid plot and characters that don\'t completely revolve around George, or else...the story would be pretty much dead, wouldn\'t it?
For all of you who wanted an update, I have a proposition. You may or may not like it, but it's all I can offer.
Check review challenge for the last chapter. details there!
James and Lily Potter were possibly the most famous parents in wizarding history. We know alot about their adult life, but what do we really know about their childhood? Even Harry never knew about the Drama, jealousy, danger, friendships, happiness, sadness, resentment, confusion and love that his parents went through as children. Here, their lives, from when the two of them were eleven to when they were brutally murdered at only 21, is recorded. Lily and James Potter were unsung heros. This is their story.
I really love your story, but I just now read it. I love how you have some OC characters, and I can really see a plot line developing here. Thanks for a great read!
Author's Response: hey thanks for the review lol. Im really glad that you like it, every opiniong counts so much!
Winner of the QuickSilver Quills Award, categ. Best Marauder Era.
What did being a Marauder truly mean?... Let's just say that some tunes cannot be played by a lone musician; and those four's lives were certainly not soloists' scores. In class or in detention, in Quidditch matches or full-moon wanderings, fleeing before monsters or confronting dark wizards, they wrote, measure after measure, their own eight-handed piece.Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs, are proud to present a Symphony for Quartet.
Wow. That's all I can say. Wow. This is one of the best stories I've ever read; great detail and background! You are an excellent author! Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Well... Wow too! Thanks for all the compliments, I think I just turned a lovely shade of magenta reading them... I hope I won't disappoint anybody in the future!
Again, another excellent chapter. The ghoul is a nice touch, but I don't believe that James's family is pure-blood. It says so in Half-Blood Prince, but I still love your story! I'm also writing a marauders fanfic, but, alas, the first chapter has been rejected. Again, excellent chapter!!! :10:
Author's Response: Thank you! Erm... I'm having trouble understanding a sentence in your review (tough day, coffee is needed). Did you mean it says in HBP that James' family isn't pure-blood, or the reverse? I'm absolutely sure Lupin says in HBP that James is a pure-blood, I believe it's in the chapter: "A very frosty Christmas", but I'm not sure. Anyway, thanks for the review... I don't know where I dug up the ghoul idea, but I liked it. Good luck with your fic!
This is the best fanfic I've ever read! I really love Peter's background, and the Remus Mystery. I do think Remus is being a bit harsh, but that's probably because he's really annoyed by James (and Sirius). I think you've done a great job writing, even though English isn't your first language; you have a better sense of grammar than some of my friends, and English is their first language. Another great chapter, and thanks for reviewing my fic!
Author's Response: Thanks!!! You'll notice James and Sirius are also surprised by Remus being so harsh, but that's because he just got a lot of detentions (which scarcely happens to him) and James and Sirius still find a way to take it as a joke. Thanks for what you say about my English. And as for reviewing your fic... that's the least I could do. Keep reading&reviewing!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! It's another chapter!!! So, to the compliments:
I love the whole piano thing...that sounds exactly like something James would do. And the description of the transformation and aftermath was just like something JK would write...sorry for the late review, but, another great chapter!!! :D
Author's Response: \"Mieux vaut tard que jamais!\" (dunno if you have an equivalent in English... something like \"better late than never\"). I\'m happy you like James\' piano lessons! I\'m not sure he likes them just as much, though :) Thanks for the nice compliments.
I love Remus' sudden decision that he can't afford friends; it's very Remus-ish. Thank you very much for portraying this so well!
Author's Response: You're welcome! I love it so much when I find reviewers who tell me just the part they liked in the chapter... Thank you for spending a few seconds reviewing.
Wow! That was really amazing, and I love how you portray Lily. I also love the cross-culture thing with the spider...that was reallllllly funny! Thanks for another great chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks!! I like that chapter a lot, I had fun writing it, even if it gave me some trouble... it just wouldn't come right... and I feared it might be boring, because I had to list their competences...
Liked my Lily? I'm glad of that, as I'm treading on eggs whenever I deal with her or Peter... both difficult to write, and both probably going to turn out completely different in Book 7. Ah well, it's worth the risk.
I might be wrong...I'm sorry...I have Lily and James confused...
Author's Response: No problem. Lily's Muggleborn, and James is a pure-blood. In my story, James' parents are rather kind to Muggleborns and half-bloods, which is rather frowned upon by the other pure-bloods. Which means James' marrying Lily was something like the final straw: James was probably labelled 'blood-traitor' after that.
Oooh! Happiness!! Another great chapter; I'm running out of nice things to say! :10:
Author's Response: And I'm running out of nice things to answer!! But your dropping a word for each chapter, like you do, is enough to make me happy.
Again...wow. I absolutely love your description of Remus, and his transformations. I also love McGonagall...the condor. That's a really nice touch. Your writing is pure genius, and I really hope you keep it up!
Author's Response: And again, thank you for such a nice review. I\'m glad you liked the condor... a little whim of mine in a otherwise quite canon story...
Again, wow! I love the details, and I felt like I was right there with Remus and James. My heart was beating so fast, and I was really sad when I had to stop reading, since class was over. This chapter is a stroke of pure genius, and I bet you'll be the next JKR or J.R.R Tolkien! Thanks for another great chapter!
Author's Response: Wh-WHAT?? You might be careful with what you\'re saying in your review--though this one will make my week for sure--when I read your last sentence I shrieked so loudly my laptop had a heart attack.
Seriously (no STUPID pun intended) I am so glad you felt that way while reading the chapter. It is, after all, my main goal--writing a story the readers can actually live, not just read. Ah well, can\'t make myself clear. Sorry.
About me being the next JKR or J.R.R. Tolkien... I\'m definitely not sure!! But anyway, thanks a LOT for saying that; saying that I don\'t get such compliments very often would be a gross understatement!
PS, did you just tell me you were reading it in class? Hey, I\'\'m not sure the story\'s worth you getting told off because you read fanfiction in class! Unless my story is so good it\'s now part of the curriculum? ;)Squee! Another excellent story! Sorry I was slow on reading it, but I got sidetracked...you are a truely superb author, and I compliment you on your word choice and portrayal. Thanks for a great story!
Author's Response: Well, thanks for a nice review! :D I really loved writing it. I had been wanting to do a Harry-PoV in first person for ages. I am so happy you liked it.
