Hello everyone who decided to grace this boring page!
I am a native Floridian, recent college graduate, happily married (even though the hubby doesn't understand the obession...)! I have been reading for years, but only recently taken a dive into writing. I'm a proud Hufflepuff and have recently taken to drabbling as well, so some of those might turn into stories as well.

Each summary is purposefully vague, for telling you the moment ahead of time is anticlimatic, in my opinion.

Summary:
Seventh grader Alexandra Quick returns to Charmbridge Academy. This year she faces bullies from another wizarding school, a secret Dark Arts club, and the machinations of her father, but her greatest trial yet awaits her in the dangerous Lands Below.
This is the second book in the Alexandra Quick series.

While I've come to like Dean Grimm, I am holding my reservations off on Diana - like Alex, my first inclination is to not trust her. I didn't see this little twist coming, but I like the first two chapters! It's very intriguing reading, and I love Alex's spunk! And fiestiness. And all those other words that mean that. :)

Yea, an update! And finally, a reference to the mysterious "Lands Below!" Of course she doesn't listen to his warning...I'm holding off on my opinion of Max and his interest in Alex...but I don't know if it's wise for her to continue going! Man, she attracts trouble!! Great chapter again as usual! I love her spunk!

We haven't had a cliffhanger like this for a while! Another great chapter - very redundant review from me at this point, but I can't say enough how impressed I am with your writing and these stories. You are very talented and very thorough, and even though I have no constructive criticism, I still want to let you know I'm reading and anticipating each and every chapter. Alex is gaining more depth and realism and I just love her. :) Can't wait to see what happens in the mysterious woods...

All the way through to the end, your story is gripping and leaves the reader wanting more! Although you hear it a lot, I'm sure you don't tire of hearing how great this story is, of how great these characters are and this world with Alex is. I frequently read this on my phone, and therefore don't always leave reviews (or leave reviews that are short), but I wanted to tell you here towards the end of this journey that I will follow your stories to the end of Alex's journey, however long you decide to write them.
I am conflicted on how I feel about Thorn's actions concerning Alex's memories, but I think ultimately in the end it probably helped her, regardless of his motives. I wonder if it is possible to make a copy of memories, if he would want to do so for further studies of the Lands Below?
Though I've never lost someone close to me, and certainly never in this tragic a situation, this chapter was wonderfully written, for it conveyed throughout it her grief and numbness without becoming overwhelming. I teared up at several points.
I firmly, however, refuse to believe that Max is dead! (Imagine a stubborn girl, arms crossed, pouty lips.) All of the signs that are pointing to that could point to that even if he were separated from them in the Lands Beyond but still alive, if someone could figure out a way to help him. No one knows anything about it, really, so there's no reason to think it wouldn't be possible. So I'm going to think it is.
Can't wait for the next two chapters (for I thought I read that it was 37 for this part of Alex's saga?), but at the same time it will be bittersweet waiting for the next installment.

If there is one thing that will annoy Alex but possibly be good for her, it would be joining the equivalent of the ROTC. She's doing good so far...
Interesting turn at the end of the chapter...Can't wait to see what happens next! I love that the updates are quick, as this is one of my favorites stories!

Sorry, it's been a few chapters since I've been able to leave a review! But the story feels like its about to hit the fan! Darla is seriously off the deep end, and I feel like shouting with Anna when she tells her to be careful! I loved the chapter after Christmas break with her and David, even though I thought it would never work, and agreed that she probably watched too much TV. She is definitely precocious. Another great chapter, and I can't wait to see how Alex gets herself involved right in the middle of this, lol! Your stories are some of the best I've ever read, fanfiction or not...if that makes any sense.

Very interesting chapter. I wonder who decides to send out the invitations. Interesting group of people. And I'm sure Dean Grimm must know about this group...what goes on at Charmbridge that she doesn't know about? It will be very interesting to see where this society goes. And I hate it when her and Anna fight! I was hoping the JROC would start to toughen her up some...maybe it will, they haven't been at it that long.

Wow, look at Anna and her spunk when she gets angry! Despite the fact that the chapter ended on a...more dramatic note, there were more points in the chapter that had me laughing out loud. And its good to be back at Charmbridge!

Another great chapter...I love that she has Max to turn to, but I wish that she could let Anna know. I think Anna's going to be hurt if she finds out from some other source than Alex herself. And Darla...what is up with her?! She is so suspicious..........

OMGOMG He did not! (That soundsl like an indignant valley girl wagging my finger at him) I'm surprised that Alex's rage really didn't break the spell, I could almost feel it coming out of my computer. Wow. This story became very intense, and I feel for Alex. Great writing as always, and I hope to see the next chapter up soon...I made the mistake of finding your illustration thread on the boards...

Alex is amazing and fantastic! Bravo to her for standing up to her father like that! I can't wait to see what she asks of him...well...actually, I can. What a cliffie! I'll be more than satisfied seeing what awaits them in the Lands Below! Even Charlie is nervous! I hope we find out what is going on with Darla, because she is still so wrapped up in the Mors Society. Oh, great great great chapter!

YES! As soon as he said "Crucio," I was like, "Get out of there!" And she did! I've been reading the last few chapters on the phone, so I haven't been commenting, but wow!! They've been amazing. I always have a little special moment whenever the HP books themselves are referenced, too. I can't believe Darla and some of the things she's been doing!! And will Alex be able to tell Anna what she's been doing now that she's left?

OH MY GOSH!! OH MY GOSH!! OH MY GOSH!!!
Okay, I'm going to comment on the things I had planned on commenting on before this humongous ending...I like the little talk between Alex and David when they had detention together...I know romance will be a while coming, but I like the romance, and I'm very curious as to see what happens among the friends in the future.
Darla--what they heck is her problem?! I'm still waiting to find that out.
I liked Max's protective behavior when Larry was using the Crucio...but that whole scene was really weird. I might have to go back and reread that.
I thought Max was participating in an undercover assignment...its a little suspiscious (ohhh bad spelling) that he came out like that. I'm just becoming suspiscious of Max the more I read the story.
OH MAN I absolutely positively cannot wait for the next chapter. Your stories are ridiculously good and hopefully it comes soon!!!!!! AHH!!!!
