Hello everyone who decided to grace this boring page!
I am a native Floridian, recent college graduate, happily married (even though the hubby doesn't understand the obession...)! I have been reading for years, but only recently taken a dive into writing. I'm a proud Hufflepuff and have recently taken to drabbling as well, so some of those might turn into stories as well.

Moments Series:
This series highlights important, pivotal moments in a characters' life.
It did not start as a series, but has taken flight in my mind, and you can't really tell those things "no", can you?
Each summary is purposefully vague, for telling you the moment ahead of time is anticlimatic, in my opinion.

I feel like Harry and Ginny are so close...I was really excited with Lupin and Harry's conversation in the beginning of the chapter! I don't know if I've commented on it yet, but I love the length of the chapters! They are so enjoyable and, well, long. It's very satisfying, and you can tell you've put a lot of work into this story.
Author's Response: Glad to know that I got the chapters about the right length for this medium. It's so different from writing on paper where shorter chapters work just fine and the reader can just turn the page. As far as the Harry/Ginny thing goes, Lupin is wise enough to know that if he pushes too much Harry will just clam up like he did with Hermione.
Another great chapter...loving Luna and the interactions with Ginny. Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Luna is an absolute joy to write: so many contradictions in such a soft and gentle cocoon. By contrast, Ginny is so forthright -- she doesn't take rubbish from anyone. Well, except Harry, that is; everyone had a soft spot for those they love the most, don't they? Next chapter is already in queue and I know you're going to like the twists in this one for sure!
Winner of the 2008 Quick Silver Quills Award for Best General Story.
The first book in the Alexandra Quick series.
The war against Voldemort never reached America, but all is not well there. When 11-year-old Alexandra Quick learns she is a witch, she is plunged into a world of prejudices, intrigue, and danger. Who wants Alexandra dead, and why?
This story is canon-compliant with the Harry Potter universe, but the characters and settings are all original. I've put a lot of work into envisioning a world as detailed as the original series; I hope you enjoy it.
I so hated Grimm when this story started, but I find myself liking her now. I'm so sad that this story is coming to an end!
Will they know what she did to the card? Because I don't thing they'll take to that too kindly...I didn't expect her reaction to be so intense, but I breathed a sigh of relief that she was so good during the meeting.
Bittersweet ending! I am of two minds about her response to her father (I was kind of surprised he contacted her so soon - their relationship seems like it will be very interesting): I want her to stay away from him for her own good, but at the same time we only know what other people are saying and I'm curious!! I think her reaction might get a reaction out of him...if that makes any sense. I gave never enjoyed reading a story on this site so much! Thank you for it and I will be eagerly awaiting the next one!
I am really enjoying this....so much so that I've put off studying for my midterm that is in a few hours!!! I'm totally going to finish reading the posted chapters as soon as I can. Great story!
Wow! When he looked at her and said that she was the secret keeper, I was stunned! This story is incredibly good, I love reading it and I'm sad that it's coming to an end. I can't wait to hear Grimm's explanation. And just who exactly is Ben Journey?! I don't think all the secrets have been revealed...are you writing another story for this series? I really hope so!
And what an exchange between Anna and Alexandra...it was so touching and sweet and sad.
That was awesome and unbelievable! I am writing from my phone, I'll leave a full review later!
Special thanks to my awesome beta, SometimeSelkie.
Hmmmm....I can't wait to see how they act back at Hogwarts. And oh man, it is going to be great to see her tell Ron and Harry.........Thanks for updating so quick, love this story!
Author's Response: Thanks! Stay tuned!
Hmmm...a secret that Dumbledore wants him to tell her...could it be the reasons for her detention? I am really enjoying this story, I wish the chapters were longer but I really like that it is updating quickly!
Author's Response: You might be on the right track! ;) \r\nStay tuned!
Great chapter! I think, given their current situations, the Malfoys aren't totally out of character. I really enjoy reading the conversations between Draco and Hermione...I know we haven't seen anything from Snape's point of view (yet?) but I hope to see the other pair's talk!
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'d like to think that I punished them just enough to force them to be better guys, lol. I love them good and I love them evil... They just needed to be good for this particular story. \r\nDon\'t worry, you\'ll get to see what Severus is up to before too long. \r\nStay tuned!
Wow, I didn't expect an ending! I do want to see the things you mentioned in your A/N, mainly Harry and Ron's reaction to her relationship with Severus. I was really glad for the length of this chapter, the previous one's were a little on the short side sometimes. I really enjoyed this story and I hope that you write post the sequel in the near future! Thanks for writing and updating quickly!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I know that no one really forsaw an ending at this point in the story, but I really had always envisioned it ending after the potion was registered. Hopefully knowing that a sequel is coming will make up for the less than satisfying ending. I agree that the chapters were too short, especially in the beginning. I'm working on a revision now that is significantly bulking them up and adding a lot of good stuff to the story. Anyway, stay tuned for the sequel! Thanks again for reviewing!
Bad Cliffie for two reasons! They weren't finished yet...and they hadn't talked! And what did Lucius want that was so important?! But we like cliffies, because we keep reading. And go Hermione for being so brave! I'm kind of glad they got to this point because of her, it keeps them much more in character.
Author's Response: Sorry to keep you suspense, but it must be done. *cue evil laughter*
I agree that in order for Severus to committ such an act as giving in to his feelings, he would need a shove in that direction. Oh, if only I could be the one doing the shoving...
Yea, an update!! Eww, evil cliffie!! I love your stories, they are awesome and funny and this chapter was no different.
Author's Response: Mwahahahahahahah! Thank you so much!
Ummmm.....this story was super awesome. Hope you continue it!
That was so good....and depressing. LOL! I almost wanted her to end up with Draco, but I thought the story was wonderful.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I was so excited when I read the summary for this!! I really like "a Child's Gift", and this chapter brings in back that world and sets up an interesting background for Abby's journey. I like that she is involved in work that is a nice mix of her parents:searching for this like her father but researching things like her mother. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I hope you continue to enjoy Abby's story as much as I'm enjoying writing it.
Oh man that chapter was ridiculous and absurd and all words that imply those sorts of things...but it was refreshing and hilarious and I can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reviewing! If you thought that was absurd, insane, ridiculous, nonsensical, ludicrous, or outlandish, then you should see THE EPIC CONCLUSION! Unfortunately, that is NOT going to be the next chapter, but it is quickly approaching anyway! Put your goggles on and brace yourself!
Tim the Enchanter
Oh my gosh. I have no idea what to say to that.
Except that I'll be reading the next chapter. :)
Author's Response:
Do not fear! The second chapter is in the queue!
Thanks for reviewing, and stay tuned!

PS: You can always say, "Bbluubbaaarrrggghhh!" Just a suggestion...
Oh. Man. Hahaha, this story is great. I don't have the brilliance to leave a great sweeping revuew, but I can tell you that this story is...hmmm, great? Yes, great. :) And you have quite the imagination.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review, and for letting me know what you think about my brain! The next exciting chapter is in the queue!
