Hi! This is Smiley! Some quick facts about me:

Likes: Harry Potter, writing, reading, dance, music, acting, arguing, being lazy, speaking French, old movies, big words, sparkles, dark chocolate, fuzzy blankets, reviews... (I am a generally happy person).

Dislikes: stupid television, chauvinists, asparagus, doing chores, geometry, dentists, sweating...

Adjectives That Have Been Used To Describe Me: enthusiastic, cheerful, easily distracted, smart, absent-minded, sensitive, dramatic, talented, lazy, geeky...

Now, I do write fanfiction...
The Hardest Thing is so close to done, it's astonishing. Now, I'm writing a new story about the Founders, Living In The Light. I actually have a cool plot already mapped out, which is a rarity. I won't be giving away plot points, but I just wanted to tantalize everyone.

Please let me know what you think of my work, even if you don't like it. I'm still developing my writing skills and would love to know what I can do better! Reviews make me happy, remember?

The Wrong Werewolf by A House Elf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It wasn't really that exotic. There were no "damsels in distress" or deadly dangerous dragons lurking school grounds. Voldemort didn't use Veritaserum to make Lily admit she was madly in love with James. James didn't offer to become a Death Eater to save Lily.

But there was a werewolf.

Nice job, very cute, very creative.

Author's Response: I give all credit to my sister. Except the words, sentences, formatting, and... okay, so basically, she just gets credit for the idea. =D

Of Coloured Pencils and Plastic Bags by Sirenny

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: So many children had passed through her class in the small Primary School of Little Whinging, and Miss. Morrison liked to think she remembered them all. The shy ones, who hid behind their mothers legs or curled up in their fathers protective arms; the boisterous ones, who ran in small, never ending circles with boundless energy. The smart ones and the ones who struggled, sometimes bravely and sometimes with tears and tantrums. The short ones and the tall ones, the sweet and the mischievous; they were all special to her, in their own way, and they all earned themselves a special place in her memories. All of them, that is, except for one.

This is an interesting look into Harry's childhood.
It is very different from what we think of when we read the books- we don't see any good people in Harry's life, but when youe think about it, there had to be some. Thanks for a thought provoking and interesting read.

Author's Response: As you said, there has to have been some good people in Harry\'s life. I think the series mentions a teacher Harry liked, and this was kind of an expansion on that (vague) memory. Thanks for reviewing.

How Predictable! by HPwizzzard

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The Marauders are having their first Divination lesson, and they quickly realize what a waste of time it is. In order to liven things up, Siriusmakes a few predictions without the aid of tea leaves. Obviously, he's no Seer, because there's no way James and Lily will ever get married, Peter will become an evil minion, or Remus will fall for Sirius' baby cousin... right?

Oh wow, this is funny! Good job.

Author's Response: Funny? No way. It\'s not like it\'s a humour fic, or anything... Kidding, kidding. Thank you.

What Lies Ahead by hpfan012

Wow. Nice battle sequence and a really heroic ending. Go, Harry!

Author's Response: haha... GO HARRY! thanks for the review! glad you liked it!

True Words of Wisdom by Phoenix5225

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Written in response to Magical Maeve's marvelous New Year's prompts. I chose the Roman goddess of wisdom for my story, for reasons I, at least, find quite amusing, given her name. This is for Hufflepuff House (participation points only).

Nice job. I love the Cassandra reference- she's one of my favorite mythological characters!

Remorse, Regret, Redemption by LuthAn

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: "Gideon closes his eyes and thinks of “the Three Ds” that he was taught at Hogwarts. Though he has Apparated thousands of times, he cannot help but recite the steps in his mind before he goes. Every time. But as he concentrates on his flat in London and closes his eyes, he does not feel the familiar squeezing feeling. He does not feel a rush of wind. He does not feel anything."

Doing magic has never been difficult for Gideon Prewett. Never, that is, until now...

Written for the "Belief" prompt of the New Year's Challenge, and received second place!

Right Here In My Arms. by WolfySiriusBlack

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: When Sirius realizes a friend is in danger of hurting herself, he decides it's high time to show her how he really feels.

Date: 02/16/07 Title: Chapter 1: Right Here In My Arms.

Sad, but very hopeful at the same time. I think this might have been better suited in romance, but that's just my opinion. Very good job, either way.

Author's Response: I was bebating weather or not to put it under romance, but I decided to put it under dark/angsty for some reason. Alot of the stories I write are, but not all of them. In case u are wondering, I also have another story I\'m writing with the character of Shar in it, called \"Betrayer of Her Kind\" which I haven\'t finished writing yet. So she will be explained better in that wen i get it up there. lol. Cheers, Wolfy.

Come Back to Me by Pennilyn Novus

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Five meetings with Harry Potter. He never stays long, but he always leaves with the promise that he'll come back in the end. And all Ginny can do is wait for the end to come.

Final Chapter has been posted; the story is now complete!

Yay! Lots of fluff, but not too cheesy. I like it.

Author's Response: Yes, when I decided to do \'fluff\' (and it\'s been debated if this story actually counts), I knew I couldn\'t, just couldn\'t, make it gag-me sweet, so thank goodness I managed to avoid the cheese! Thanks for reviewing!

The Wedding Surprise by Cwiddy

Summary: Tonks is attending Bill and Fleur's wedding. While there she advises Harry on his relationship with Ginny, and then gets a big surprise of her own.

Cute! I'm so happy Harry is their best man!

Author's Response: Glad you liked it! I couldn\'t see anyone else being Remus\'s best man!!

Where Luna Lives by Ennalee

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Sometimes Luna remembers the explosion of sound against her eardrums, the blast of hot air (throat raw, the insides of her nostrils burning), the shower of tiny sparks like fireflies, but flaming. Sometimes she just remembers running through the damp grass, feet bare, her mother dancing on the lawn before her, white dress and shining hair, singing.

I really, really love this story. Your writing style paints a simple, realistic picture, but there seem to be billions of tiny little meanings hidden within every word. This is one of those stories I could read again and again, and still find something new every time.

Express Your Confusion in This State of Mind by just_the_contrary

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

What a wonderful state of confusion!

Lily/SIrius. This is just_the_contrary of Ravenclaw House, and this story the first one-shot for NEWT Romance.

Nice job. This is definetly not how I pictured Lily, but it was an engaging and interesting read.

Sparks and Mud by greennotebook

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: A 4-part chronicle of the collapse of the relationships between Hogwarts's Four Founders, "Sparks and Mud" follows the founders through the year that ended their ability to work together, yet inevitably set Hogwarts onto the path it is on today. Through a smattering of romance, friendship, humor, and of course, tragedy, find out how the promise contained in the relationship of the founders fell apart into sparks and mud.

Mentions of violence in later chapters- nothing big, but I'm putting the warning up anyway.

WOW. This was your first fic? Amazing job. I am thinking about a fic about the Founders myself, and although I disagreed with how I would portray several things, I really liked your characterizations and the chemistry of the group. All in all, an excellent fic!

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I especially appreciate your praise seeing as you disagree with several ideas. Yes, I did rather think many people would disagree with certain ships and dynamics. I had fun though.

Young and Restless by joybelle423

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It seemed to Sirius that a day hadn't gone by without him seeing the girl at least once. Whether it was in the courtyard, the common room, or the corridors, their shared glances and heated looks entranced him.
Reviewer: smiley10792 Signed
Date: 04/25/07 Title: Chapter 1: Young and Restless

This is really, really good! I love your characterization and the way you portrayed this romance- not too much, not too little.

Author's Response: Wow, thank you very much! I was trying to go in a slightly different way with the characterisation, especially for Sirius, and I really didn\'t want to go over the top with the romance, either. Thanks for reviewing!

Four Reasons Why by SunDevil05

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Harry always wanted to be an Auror, right? So why does he suddenly think that the reasons he had to be one are actually ones to quit?
Reviewer: smiley10792 Signed

This is cute, and realistic. It reminds me of my dad- he stays away from home during the week a for work!

A Time to Fall by Ennalee

Oh, my. Incredible job. There is a lot of truth and a lot of love contained in just this one story.

Hanging by a Thread by LadyAlesha

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Andromeda's elopment disgraces her family and threatens her sister's one chance of a happy future with a husband she loves. With Narcissa powerless to change the situation, it is for Lucius to decide wether to safe the Black family from social ruin or to destroy it for good.

Written for an assignment in Roxy Black's Romance class.
Reviewer: smiley10792 Signed
Date: 08/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: one-shot

Hmm... I never really thought of Narcissa and Lucius this way before. Your story casts them in a more realistic, human light. Nice.

Author's Response: Thanks, that\'s exactly what I wanted to do, show that as a family, they love each other, even if they\'re cold on the outside.

Two Little Stars by whatapotter

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Fred and George used to be inseparable. Now Fred is dead, and George, devastated by the loss of his brother, must continue living.

He was one half of a set that was never meant to be separated; a cup without a saucer, a key without a lock.

This is a heartwrenching story about the horrific consequences of war, and the terrible loss it leaves in its wake. Sadly, it is often the people left behind by Death that are damaged the most.

Alone. He had never been alone. As far back as he could remember there had always been two of him. It had never been an ‘I’ or a ‘me’, but always an ‘us’ and a ‘we’.

Told through George's eyes - this is his story.

He was broken now.
Reviewer: smiley10792 Signed
Date: 09/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: Two Little Stars

This is so sad! I thought the repetition of "He was broken now", along with the insertion of funny quotes was really clever. I've always been a fan of repetition because it creates such a nice effect.

Author's Response: Thanks very much! I\'m so glad you liked it. xx

Teddy's Gift by SiriusRadcliffe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The war may be over, but the true fight is just beginning. Two hearts, still searching for the truth, are brought together by the most unexpected person. And in the end, destiny overtakes them. From the imaginations of Miss Radcliffe and SiriusBlack1113 comes a story of love, passion, heartbreak, and healing.

Great story so far. I think it's neat that you two are writing a story together. The story is interesting, and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Author's Response: Haha Thank you. I can\'t even begin to tell you how... weird (?) it is to write a story with another person. All your cues come from them and its difficult to make the change in style and writing not noticeable when you\'re writing a chapter. Like... i\'m sure some of the breaks in the story are noticeable when the author changes and we\'re trying to work on that. :P SiriusBlack1113 <3

Author's Response: I agree with SiriusB, our writing styles are different so it\'s a very interesting challenge trying to merge them efficiently and unnoticeably (is that a word? haha). It\'s a learning process and I think we\'re getting better as we go along. It\'s also great experience co-writing plot and characterization as well as other key elements. To top it off it\'s a lot of fun! Thanks! Miss Radcliffe~
