I'm a huge James/Lily fan. I would say shipper, but everyone knows they got together. How do you think Harry came about? What I can't stand is people writing Remus/Lily stories. Forgive me, but I think that's mean to Remus. I love Remus. I'm the world's biggest Marauder fan. Ask my sister, Stag_Flower. You simply say "Marauder," and I start giggling like the mad, fantasizing, fanatic, female that I am. However, if you say Remus loved Lily, you're saying he had his heart-broken when James married Lily. That I couldn't bear. As much as I love the idea of Remus and Tonks, I probably won't write one of those stories. Everyone knows how that story turns out. (Edit: Okay, I guess I just broke that promise. I have one in queque right now.)
I'm a short, ditzy, Christian brunette homeschooler/ social butterfly who glues her face to the computer screen like a geek every flippin' day except Sunday... because that's one of my parents rules. Oh yeah! I love my family. More than you. My best friend is my sister, Caroline. She hasn't written anything yet, but her username is Stag_Flower for future reference. My older brother, Sinclair, is a ladies' man even though he won't admit it. I'm sure he thinks my stories (the ones I haven't published yet and the ones I have) are too sappy, but he won't admit that either. My younger brother, Peyton, enjoys giving me the "Oh-my-gosh-are-you-really-that-silly" look when I giggle with Caroline whilst looking at picture of any Marauder. Well, with the exception of that Pettigrew kid. He just makes me shudder or want to take a shower.
Besides Harry Potter, I love Lost, Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, The Mark of the Lion series, The Chronicles of Narnia, Krispy Kreme donuts, pretty much any chick-flick out there, and anything written by Francine Rivers.
Oh! And I'm a Ravenclaw =D.
For those of you who want to email me: darcy-lover@hotmail.com. I will only respond to emails and block you if you tried to message me. Sorry. House rule.
Oh, that was brilliant! I have a few cutter friends, and you gave me a little glimpse as to "why" they do it. I really did like this. I like how James cared enough for her to love her despite her imperfection.
Author's Response: thanks so much! it\'s so great to know people like my work!
This is story is dead. I do not mean to call it dry. I mean it describes death. Like you said: "Heather was already dead inside." Your Katherine is so lifeless, it makes me sad. I want to get in your story, and run away with her, show her a life. You've mad me feel for a fictional character, and I've been thinking about her all day. What did she do when she left?
Author's Response: You took me a bit of guard when I read \"Your story is dead\" I thought it was going to be a flame, but at the end it wasn\'t. I\'m relieved. I\'m happy that I made you feel for her, that means I\'ve done my job properly. After Katherine left she moved to France and had a quiet life. Thanks for the review!
What happened to that second chapter? I saw it was in queque, and now it's not. Please try to send it back in. I really like this story.
Author's Response: I don\'t know...scurries off to find the problem.
I thought you might have struggled with it. You write about it so well. I thought about doing it for a short while, but I didn't think I could stand the blood. So, I resorted to wearing two tight rubber bands and slapping my wrists with them whenever I got sad or felt guilty. Then I went to a Christian camp and decided I want to be perfect for my Prince (Jesus). I stopped. I wanted to be holy for him. What made you stop?
Author's Response: A long time ago, I stopped for a while and that time, it was for the same reason as you. For Jesus. Then I stopped believing in him, and everything just got worse again. This time, I am doing it for myself, my friends and my family. It astonishes me how many people read my stories and say they can identify. I have always hoped that by writing about it, I can show people going through similar issues that they are not alone. When you feel like nobody understands, it can be so lonely.
*struggles to still like James* He's a... dangit! This story is making me tearfully sad. James wouldn't! HE COULDN'T!! *sobs* I wanted to give this girl a hug so bad right now.
By the way, you've used cutting in two of your stories. Why? Just curious.
Author's Response: I\'m glad the emotions in the story came across so well, it was supposed to be sad! The reason I write a lot about cutting is because I struggled with self-harm for almost two years. It\'s something I understand, and writing about it comes naturally to me.
Please don\'t hate James for it, I know he was a jerk but he is still my favourite character!
I forgot to say something:
This story, sadly, makes me want things to have been different. I want Lily to have never even seen James. I want James to go to her doorstop and apologize. I want more Gryffindors to make friends with Slytherins. I want... I want all her pain to go away...
Author's Response: I will always think James and Lily are the perfect couple! =) I agree though that Gryffindors and Slytherins should try to get along better.
Oooh! I beatiful retelling. You have a gift, my friend.
Author's Response: Thank you! you\'r so sweet!
Oh my gosh... that's so sad. Geesh, I want to cry. I think I'm going to go read one of your other happy series. Maybe I'll look at "Missing Scenes" again. Poor Tonks. Remus is so... so... *sigh* Oh, nevermind. I could never say anything rude about him.
Oh, I loved it! I was so scared you weren't going to be faithful to Remus and Tonks, but you were! I really enjoyed this. And you didn't leave poor Jessie heartbroken. I applaud thee. Wonderful story.
I forgot to ask! What was that boggart?
Oh, come on, Lily! I thought you were smarting than that. I'm smart. See? I knew James wouldn't cheat. He's the world's greatest and sexiest, modern Prince Charming.
Author's Response: Yay, another James worshipper! Oh, I love that guy! Lily was being a bit stupid, wasn\'t she? Thanks so much for the review!
I thought of Ron as I read that. They really are such an odd couple, aren't? Ah, but we love them. I'm glad you're not a disillusional H/Hr shipper.
Author's Response: I intended it to be about Ron and Hermione, talking about eachother, and once you think on it, they really are an odd couple. That\'s why their so great, in my mind. And thank you for not being an H/Hr shipper [shudders at the thought].
Author's Response: First reviewer, yay!
Sorry, but I think the timing's off. Lily's first romantic day with James shouldn't be the day her parent's die! She would be too deep in grief to have enough time to think of James. It's just not too respectful to the dead.
Author's Response: Ok, that\'s your oppinion and a good point. I will definately have to work on these kind of things in future fanfics - once again constructive critisism.
This Sirius pov outtake from Promise of a Spring Moon is the fourth Cami/Sirius one-shot in the Lovers' Moon series, following A Dog's Life, Sirius in the Moonlight, and A Moment Like This.
Ooh! Nice story. I loved Sirius. He was very in character. I love how you keep your stories true to the book.
One question: This seemed more of a Sirius/OC than a RL/NT. Why this category?
Author's Response: You\'re right, it is Sirius/OFC, but it\'s also an outtake of Promise of a Spring Moon, based on that plot, and not only did I want to make sure readers could easily find the one shot, you\'re only allowed to submit a story to one category, :D. Now that it\'s validated, I can add Other Pairings, and hope readers looking for a Sirius/OFC enjoy the story too, even though they probably haven\'t read the R/T fic that inspired it. Hope that helped! ^_^
Aww. Well, that kind of lightened the dark mood of the ending for that book, didn't it?
Author's Response: Well, I hadn\'t really thought of it that way, but you\'re right.
Oh, this was great! I loved reading it. At heart, I'm a Tonks myself, and the first half nearly had me crying. I give it a 8/10.
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing!
Contrary to what Sirius thought, Remus had never been concerned with propriety. He’d been determined to keep strict command over his mind and body...until Nymphadora.
*Remus pov outtake to Promise of a Spring Moon.*
Oh my gosh! Remus is such a gentleman. Really. He's waiting for her so sweetly when it's so hard on him. Dangit, why does he have to be fictional?
It was so funny. I just got back from a trip to Holiday World in Indiana, and I was looking forward to reading this story. I thought maybe my email had screwed up because it hadn't come. I searched through the Remus/Tonks section and still couldn't find. Then it appeared in my email! Tada! It took me two seconds to click on it. I'm really hoping this is first review. *crosses fingers*
Author's Response: You\'re number 1, you\'re number 1! :D Yay for you being the first reviewer, and for fictional guys who set standards for real ones to follow, if only they would, sigh. I hope you had a fab holiday. I\'ve been to Indiana, but never heard of Holiday World. Is it a rollercoaster theme-park?
That was a really good chapter. You did a good job of writing her past. I mean, it sounded like a horror to me. Where did you get the idea? Uggh. I want to hug Iola now!
Author's Response: It is a horror, in a way. And I don\'t know where I got the idea. The idea shop? It just sort of came as I wrote it. Poor Iola! Thanks for reviewing.
I love putting things from life into stories! It irritates my sibling sometimes because normally the joke's on them. Thanks for updating. I've been literally looking forward to it. Everytime I see an update in my inbox, I hope it's from you. When's the next chap coming?
Author's Response: Aw, thats so nice to hear! Thank you! The next chapter will be soon-ish, i\'ll put it up once Sirius has been updated (which will be sooner)
That was great! Aww. I'm going to think about that as I go to bed tonight seriously. Hope you don't mind, but I'm going to tamper with the ending, of course. Cute story, and great last sentence.
