Hi.
I don't know what to say... You know, this is why I write fiction. It's so much easier than finding interesting things to say about myself.
Because, actually, I'm not that interesting. I read everything. And I mean everything. And then I write things.
Ask one of my friends what I'm like, and they'll tell you I'm a walking encyclopedia. And yes, I do know that. Because they say it to me. I would like to be an interesting person. But I'm not.
But don't let that put you off reading my stuff (if I ever do anything good enough to put on). It's more interesting than me. (although mostly I'm on here to read stories by the multitude of much more talented paople around!)

OK...Is it that Monty Python drives people insane, or that insane people are attracted to Monty Python? Because judging from this story...you are insane. Very insane. Awesomely insane, in fact.

Blue Eyes Reflecting by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Originally for October Challenge 6: Romance: write a 'ship you don't necessarily support. In his fourth year, Draco discovers that the Malfoy prejudice against Weasleys may have a flaw. Alternate warning: outright lewd.
Draco smiled, the smile that charmed people into doing what he wanted, and opened the door of an unused classroom. Ron showed no signs whatever of cooperation. Draco upgraded the smile to ‘challenging’ and walked in himself, then waited, leaning casually against a desk. It might not work this time, but eventually…

By Vindictus Viridian, Ravenclaw.

99 Red Balloons by Seaspray

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: ONE SHOT. Luna Lovegood finally realises the answer to a problem that has puzzled her for years. A short songfic about love, loss and letting go. Written for the SQ Songfic challenge.
Reviewer: LoneWolfLoverGirl Signed

That was a really good story. Lovely original idea, and Luna is a great character, so it was really great to read a proper, serious story about her.

Everything and the Moon by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: "Perhaps there was such a thing as being too much of a gentleman." After giving Tonks an ultimatum, Remus finds faith, not drowning sorrows with Sirius, is the only thing that makes waiting bearable.

Reviewer: LoneWolfLoverGirl Signed
Date: 09/09/06 Title: Chapter 1: Everything and the Moon

Awesome! I just read both...and love 'em!
Only problem is my usual one with Remus/Tonks...jealousy. And the better the writing, the more jealous I get...so you will be pleased to know that the fact I now feel VERY jealous of Tonks (yes, I am sad, I am jealous of a fictional character...) means both this and "Moon" were VERY good!

Author's Response: Thanks! But when you read, you are her, so you\'re actually jealous of yourself! LOL

A Dog's Life by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

Mother always said he would live a dog's life, wretched and ignoble. Lying before the fire with a lovely woman running her fingers through his hair, Sirius made a sound of deep contentment. The battleaxe had been dead wrong. It was good to be Snuffles.

Aaaaw... such a pity...

Author's Response: He needs love, doesn\'t he? That\'s why I\'m happy to give it to him in later chapters and one shots, lol.

Sirius in the Moonlight by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: "He didn't have a plan, but that had never stopped him before."

After 'Snuffles' is revealed to be a fugitive Animagus, Sirius must convince the woman he loves to make him her most wanted.

So sweet...*soppy look*
But Sirius romance makes me cry...

Author's Response: If I didn\'t give him a romance, if I made him fall through the veil in my story without ever having a real love, I would cry like I did reading OotP, thinking it was such a tragedy, for that reason, for Sirius\' sake, even more than Harry\'s. Sigh

With You In Your Dreams by Slian Martreb

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus awakes the morning after Halloween of '81 to find his world changed.

Date: 01/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: With You In Your Dreams

Absolutely heartbreaking. I've read lots of similar fic, but that is the first one to actually make me cry...probably because there's just the right level of R/S love in there that it's heartbreaking, but not enough to make it melodramatic.

Author's Response:
It\'s so appreciated when people recognize the balance that such a fic requires to be more Angsty and less wangsty, so thank you very much

Those who say nothing by Morwen

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: After Sirius Black's betrayal, Remus wonders why he did what he did and if, indeed, he is entirely to blame.
Written by Morwen of Ravenclaw for the Monthly Poetry Contest Challenge 1- "Apathy is lethal".

This is awesome. I don't know how to say how good it is. Al ot of people write about my favourite characters, and I think, no, that's wrong, but this is perfect

Everybody Does It by Grimmrook

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: *Runner Up in the 2006 Annual Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Dark/Angsty*

It's the one thing everyone must do. You can't avoid it, you can't bargain with it, you just do it. It hurts sometimes, hell, it hurts most of the time, but it's also the most natural thing in the world. One of those rare things that makes us human.

This story is included in the Epilogues story arc, however it is a side story that can be read at just about any time. it is most favorable, however, to wait until reading Epilogues Part I for certain thematic reasons.

oh my god. That is the saddest thing ever. I am actually crying here.

Author's Response: I would only leave a response like this if I were as drunk as I currently am. GOOD! I\'m glad you cried. I cried my ass off, and I happen to have a high enough opinion of myself to think that if I am feeling something emotionally, I can transfer that into prose, and therefore make other people cry. This was a severely emotional experience for me, and I\'m elated that it was for you as well. Now, if you thought it was that good, why not add it to the nominations it has already received for a quicksilver quill? Okay, sobering myself long enough to say: Thank you ever so much for the review, I truly appreciate it.

Awesome!
I never saw the Troll-speak in LotR...Aren't I unobservant...
Fortune cookies = brill

Author's Response: It\'s in the books, but Tolkien \"translated\" into English so often only a list of words is left. It was definitely fun to use in the story, so thanks for liking it!
