Well, hey there!

I've been on MFF since 2006. I know, that's a long time. I used to be pretty involved and sadly, life took over and I forgot about MFF. Recently, I've come back from my five year hiatus and I'm in the process of finishing "Man in the Mask" and started a new chapter story called "What to Expect When You're Expecting: A Wizard's Guide." So, stay tuned for updates. xo MJ

Man in the Mask Updates:

Chapter Four: Posted! 1/6/16
Chapter Five: Writing

What to Expect When You're Expecting: A Wizard's Guide

Chapter One: Posted 1/15/16
Chapter Two: Writing

FAQs

How many chapters are left in MitM?
I think it's safe to say that I have at least three more chapters to write. We'll see how it goes though. Maybe there will be less. Maybe there will be more.

How many chapters will WtEWYWG be?
I'm thinking it'll be around five or six chapters. I'm not sure yet.

When will the next update be?
Hopefully, it'll be sooner than later. I'm a crazy busy college student so sometimes homework and work trump MFF.

Have more questions that aren't answered? Feel free to email me! xo MJ

Okay, so I've have fallen in love with your story. Holy cow. You have a wonderful humor in here. I can never see myself trying to write something like this but I have always, always wanted to. I have an idea but getting it started it the tricky part. LOL. Anyhow, you have done a great job and I would love to see a update soon or else I'm going to go crazy. Happy writing! ~MJ =P

Author's Response: I really appreciate the kind words. Some reviews are a bit more critical, though I appreciate the thought that goes into all of them nonetheless! If you have an idea for a story that you want to write, then give it a go! Here\'s what I do when I\'m stuck at a \"tricky part\". I grab a bit of paper and just write everything that comes to my head, not lifting the pen from the paper for even a moment. Soon, all your ideas will start pouring out. You\'ll find that you\'ve started before you even know it! I hope you write your story, and drop a note to me when you do! Thanks again for reading a leaving a note. <3 The newest chapter is in the queue right now, so check back soon!

Wow, Terri. Wow. You have outdone yourself in this one-shot. I loved how you were so straight forward with Molly and what is going through her head.

I also really like your writing style. It's great! Good work. I'm excited to read more of your stories. :) ~MJ

Author's Response: MJ,

Thank you. I wrote that when I was going through the very real the possibility of losing my own son, so I really connected with what Molly would have been feeling. I guess it was just my own way of dealing with everything I was feeling and just couldn't express outwardly to anyone. After all, I had to keep those rose-colored glasses on that everything was going to be fine, which thank Merlin, turned out to be.

thanks again.

Grave Days by Northumbrian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Front page: THE DAILY PROPHET 4 May 1998

TOM RIDDLE – THE SELF-STYLED LORD VOLDEMORT

Editors Note: At the request of the Ministry for Magic this Official Statement issued by the Office of the Minister is produced full and unedited.

OFFICIAL MINISTRY STATEMENT

This official statement has been compiled with the assistance and co-operation of Mr Harry Potter.

“Lord Voldemort” was, in fact a man named Tom M. Riddle, son of a witch, Merope Gaunt and a Muggle, Tom Riddle Senior. The Ministry has decided that in all future official publications Riddle will be referred to by his given name.

There has already been much speculation and wild rumour regarding the events at Hogwarts School. The Ministry can confirm that Tom M. Riddle was killed at dawn on the morning of Saturday, 2 May. Riddle was disarmed by Harry Potter while in the act of firing a killing curse at Mr Potter. The curse killed Riddle rather than its intended target.

WHERE IS HARRY POTTER?

Despite the Official Ministry Statement (published above) we are no closer to receiving an answer to the question on the lips of every witch and wizard in the country. Where is Harry Potter?

It appears that Mr Potter left Hogwarts School early yesterday morning, apparently in the company of his close associates Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. An attractive young Ministry clerk, who did not wish to be named, told The Prophet “He’s at the Ministry, having an important meeting with the Minister. My friends and I saw him. He asked us out to the pub, but we had to turn him down.” This statement is at odds with a report from the Portkey Office that Mr Potter has fled the country, travelling to Australia with his companions.

Wow. First of all, what a grand story. You really did a great job. I really enjoyed your writing style.

Second of all, I hate admitting this but, I got so into the story that I found myself tearing up during some of the funneral scenes.

I'm excited to read the sequel! ~MJ

Author's Response: Thanks for the review of my first (and so far only) completed novel length story.
I was aiming for an emotional response, so tears are good (if you know what I mean).
I hope to get another chapter of the sequel (Aurors and Schoolgirls) submitted soon.
