Hi there! I am a 26 year old single mother of a wonderful 6 year old boy. ; ) Between him and Harry Potter, I don't have time for much else. I've made him into a fan, because i discovered HP when he was mere months old, and have been nuts over the whole "universe" since then, and he couldn't help but be influenced, so when the cable goes out or we have a "sleepover" in the living room, we watch Harry Potter. I only discovered fan fiction about 6 months ago, and I've been hooked ever since. Some of these stories are absolutely amazing. So keep writing guys, and I'll keep reading!

oh, wow... For some reason that one of the most emotional chapters yet for me. The thought of Malfoy being that terrified of Harry, and then Harry sitting down and realizing what he needed to change... that was awesome Nuw!

Author's Response: Thanks! Harry really needed to make a conscious choice to grow up, and unfortunately it had to be forced by a traumatic event. And poor Malfoy (never thought I\'d say that!)... he probably wouldn\'t have been nearly as terrified if he\'d known about Harry\'s second wand. As it is, though, he thinks Harry can do very advanced wandless magic, and the thought of that has him pretty frightened. Although even before that he knew Harry could beat him without too much trouble. ;-)

Okay I am really having mixed feelings about this, I mean, on the one hand, HA HA HA Snape and Pettigrew! but on the other hand, what's going to happen with all of the changes that Harry is making. okay so im sorry that my last review (which consisted of "ewww") was so obnoxious, im at work whilst reading this so when the boss man came in i didn't have time to finish the review.. moving right along, i really like this story, im always excited when Harry gets to interact with his parents. im still gonna go with the ewww factor though... when i was reading some of the other reviews that went the way of "what if Harry turns out to be Harry's dad."...eww. but other than the initial gag reflex, i am really enjoying your writing, and as such, as soon as i finish Deathly Hallows, i will be back here waiting rather (im)patiently for another update. Keep up the good work!

if anything was said about the accents, she would have said "then why don't you have american accents" as brits don't actually think they have an accent, we do. other than that i really like this story. i hope Harry does the right thing

I think this is a good idea for a story, however I think the subject should maybe have been someone else. It is so out of character for Ginny. But then maybe that's why she would be a good choice, I'm just finding it a little hard to swallow (no pun intended). Other than me having a hard time accepting this about Ginny, it is very well written!

Author's Response: For me, Ginny was the only choice. Eating disorders are most common in girls from a middle class background, who are naturally talented but still have to work hard and often feel that they have to prove themselve and show everyone that they can be independant. (yes, i did do my research). It\'s often those you think least likely to suffer from it, which is why so many are able to hide it. For Ginny, the Weasley family, though they aren\'t rich, we are always given the impression that they are well respected. She has six older siblings to contend with and as the only daughter she is always more protected. She is very determind to prove that she can cope with everything that is thrown at her. We are also told that Ginny is very popular, but in Chamber of Secrets, the reason she got caught up in Tom Riddle\'s diary was because she was lonely and needed an outlet. Also, with all the trauma she has gone through, they just aid this self hate growing inside of her and (in this story anyway) when Harry broke up with her, her guard was down and she was able to become consumed by it. thanks for reading, and I\'m really glad you like the plot line and my writing. emma x x x
