Beautiful writing, once again. Didn't have too much plot - felt more like a new beginning for each of the characters featured in this chapter, but I believe that was largely due to the difficult parents meet daughter scene which took up a large part f the chapter, and which was also choreographed believably. I was quite nervous as to what you would write for that scene, but it was well done, so you can give yourself a pat on the back :)
Author's Response: It was a terribly difficult transition chapter. It was written and betaed and discarded and then I left the story alone for another 6 months. Then came back and rewrote from scratch and sent to beta and, boom, wrote two more chapters. Soooo, long story short, I'm glad you don't hate it. It was a challenge. :)

I must say that this chapter is by far my favorite. It has more action to it, even though some of the things, such as the Imperius Curse on Dumbledore aren't quite as believable. But I do think that this Hermione/Ron story is pretty cute.

i think that this story had a really good start, but i don't feel that it's getting anywhere. i feel like it's dumbledore and snape who are the main characters, because they have the problems and are making the decisions, and it feels like harry is more like a puppet. that's just the feeling i'm getting from the last few chapters. i thought the first ones were excellent
