Hormones by blondebouncingferret

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Draco and Ron both have detention for the same night, what happens with teenage lust meets these two young wizards? DMRW SLASH.
Reviewer: Jazzbones Signed
Date: 03/02/07 Title: Chapter 1: Hormones

Very well written and very interesting. Not quite what I expected, but well written indeed. Just goes to prove that sex is sex, no matter whose doing it.

I love...who? by Hermiones_Revenge

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry writes a love note to one person...but someone else recieves it and gets the wrong idea. From here, confusion and chaos come about. Who is really sending the notes? Who really likes who? What is going on?!

Reviewer: Jazzbones Signed
Date: 04/19/07 Title: Chapter 8: I can see clearly now (sort of)

This reminded me of "Much Ado About Nothing". Well done. I didn't find it confusing at all. But then again I read it all the way thru, so it was easier to follow. Keep up the good work.

Centrifugal Force by Melindaleo

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Originally written for the SIYE summer challenge. Hermione invites Harry, Ron, and Ginny to her house to attend a Muggle carnival. What happens when four kids who have been forced to live under adult pressures are suddenly allowed to act like kids?
Reviewer: Jazzbones Signed
Date: 04/10/07 Title: Chapter 1: Centrifugal Force

Oh, the joys of carnival rides and how they can bring people together. It's so fun just being kids. Let us never forget that as we grow older - always keep the kid in you. Wonderful!

Soap Pie by Lirael Astarael

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: *ONE-SHOT* After carefully observing (ahem) a row between Ron and Hermione, Fred and George concoct an evil plan...and a pie. A sniff of Harry/Ginny and, of course, the odor of pie.

Date: 04/18/07 Title: Chapter 1: Soap Pie

Very funny and true to the character of the twins.

Author's Response: Thanks, though looking at it again two years after writing it...meh it\'s tolerable.

Git in Shining Armor by juniorauthor

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Ronald Weasley struggles with his teaspoon's worth of emotions during Hermione's stay at the Burrow summer after fifth year. With the Twins succumbing the household to spontaneous product trials, and a new Minister of Magic, one would think that Hermione's Bulgarian pen pal would be the least of Ron's problems.

And that would be what one would get for thinking.

Surprises abound (the Good and the Bad) assure the Weasleys and their house guest this will be a summer all but one of them will never forget.

Final chapter is in queue. Wow, that took forever, didn't it?

Very entertaining story and well written. You really had me on the edge of my seat with end of chapter 11. I was shouting - "NO, don't kill Ron!" Very well done indeed.

"Mum, Dad, It's Me... Harry." by Mudblood428

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione make a trip to Godric's Hollow to visit the Potters' graves. There, Harry speaks to his parents for the first time, and in so doing, discovers that the dead are never truly lost. (One-shot. Bring your kleenex.)

Date: 04/12/07 Title: Chapter 1: One-Shot

Very nice and touching. It does bring a tear to the eye - especially for those of us who have lost a parent. I still want to talk to my mother after ten years of being gone. God Bless.

Christmas Sweet by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

It was hard acting jolly when he was in a bit of a nark, but George Weasley pulled it off...Without a date for Fred and Angelina's engagement party, George asks Alicia Spinnet and sees his old mate in a new light.

I was perusing your library and happened upon this delightful narrative. As with "For Bitter or Worse", this is an excellent George/Alicia moment. So expressive and descriptive, one can see it happening. Five stars.

Author's Response: Aw, thank you! I\'ll never regret pairing them or stop believing Jo should have! :D

12 Days of Christmas at Hogwarts by Tania Dalyn4

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Challenge #4- for Hufflepuff house. The inspiration for this version of "12 Days" is one of my favorite xmas tunes "The 12 Pains of Christmas". At the end of each stanza, the lines in parentheses are Harry's musings on the gifts of that day. I fixed the 8th day, thanks everyone!

Absolutely Hilarious! The comments had me laughing so hard (or should I say trying to stiffle the laughter) that I was on the verge of tears. This is one for the books.

Please read and review so I know what you think!

Well written, action-packed story. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I liked that Hermione married Ron w/o question and that Ron put her safety first in the maze.
Keep up the good work.

The Things We Do For Love by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

After her first kiss with Ron, Hermione asks Ginny for advice. What follows is a lesson in the things we do for love.

This three part story was written pre-HBP, when the future looked, if not exactly rosy, at least not that dreadful shade of Lavender that coloured the Potterverse in the sixth book.

* Rated for snogging ^_~*

I'm enjoying "For Bitter or Worse" so much, I thought I would go back and check out some of your other stories. This was absolutely great. I love how you write the characters so playful - ah, young love!

Author's Response: I heart you for that! I feel like one of those guys who open their coats to reveal watches of every description. What\'cha want, little lady, I got pairings of all kinds...and they\'re all very playful, even giant-sized couples like Hagrid and Olympe! :D

True Love Waits by Narwen3

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: When Harry graduates, he asks Ginny a question. Getting an unexpected answer, he's left to face real life alone. Finally, he must grow up, without Ginny at his side. Sequel to "To See You Through The Dark."

Date: 02/15/07 Title: Chapter 7: Back to Hogwarts

Good story so far. I read "To See You Through The Dark" and thought it was great. Keep up the good work. (By the way, my niece's name is Kyla - good choice).

You Tell Her by SnorkackCatcher

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: As the Trio begin their quest, Hermione has an uneasy feeling that there's something very important Harry and Ron aren't telling her. And as it happens, she's absolutely right. But some things just aren't easy to tell when you're sure your friend won't want to hear them ... [Set shortly post-HBP. Gen + the canon ships.]

Date: 06/21/07 Title: Chapter 1: Story Text

That was great. I love the "fear & trepidation" that Harry & Ron were having over telling her. Like a verbal game of "hot potato".

Author's Response: Thank you! Always difficult. :)

A Different Reality by Gmariam

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Harry has just witnessed the death of Professor Dumbledore, and chases after the murderous Snape before he can escape the grounds. But the former potions master easily captures Harry, and takes him back to Spinner’s End along with Draco Malfoy. What happens to Harry at Spinner’s End? Will Snape cement his allegiance to the Dark Lord and turn Harry over to Voldemort? What happens to Draco Malfoy? Will Voldemort punish him for his failure on the Tower? And what about Severus Snape - will Harry learn the truth about the former Death Eater at last?

This story is now complete, and presents an alternate ending to Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince, in which Harry learns more than he could have ever imagined about Professor Snape and Professor Dumbledore. He must abandon many of his old convictions and come to an understanding of a new and different reality before setting out on his final journey to vanquish Lord Voldemort in Book Seven.

Very good hypothesis, heartbreaking but very good.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! It is rather sad for Snape, isn\'t it? But something made him the spy he became, and I think it could be a tragic loss. We\'ll see come July (we hope!) Thanks so much for reading this story, I hope you enjoy the rest of it! I really appreciate the reviews - thanks again! ~Gina :)

H/G and R/Hr

(pre-Deathly Hallows)

*Completed*

*Quote from The Epilogue*

Suddenly Harry was kissing her as if he couldn’t resist the temptation. There was a kind of frenzy to the kiss at first, a kind of desperate need, but it melted into something soft and sweet and gentle, a promise of a future when kisses would never be limited. When they broke apart he rested his forehead on hers, sprinkling a few affectionate butterfly kisses across her face. “I love you,” he murmured.
