*waves* Alright, so, about me. Umm….
{**a b o u t m e**}
Well, I’m Angela. I obsess over Harry Potter and that's pretty much that! Just look out for the name Angela Black and keep my author’s page in your favorites. *wink* Ha, yeah right. I am also American. :D
{**s t o r i e s**}
A Shimmer in the Moonlight: Ahh…my baby. My little baby that isn’t going anywhere and will always be in mommy’s arms. Er, author’s page. O.o *hugs Shimmer* I love this little one sooo much. It was supposed to be an entry for an in-house challenge but it didn’t get accepted in time. That’s okay though, because it’s still here. Sirius has some unfinished business with Harry. Now to take care of it, and then he can go on.
A Lily in Death: Where did I write this? I wrote this after school one day in my mom’s classroom. *shrugs* I wanted to write a poem. Written from Luna’s perspective, Luna ponders what death will be like and wonders how she feels about it. Luckily, she won’t have to die alone.
Luna Lovegood's Loony Book of Legacies: Argh. I would so not recommend this to you. If you came up to me and said, "Oy, Angela, which one of your fics should I read?" I would reply, "Oh, anything, anything at all! Except don't read Luna Lovegood's Loony Book of Legacies. Kthxbye." Seriously. But I'm leaving it up because it took a long time and lots of days of STRESS to write and it's just a lesson to all those wishing to take place in the Gauntlet: don't. That is, not unless you *know* that your schedule is free and you're perfectly at ease in your writing.
Thanks, Prongs: I'm actually quite fond of this one! It started out as just a little drabble I did around Christmastime because I was bored and turned into a one-shot! Please R&R, because that would make me sooo happy.
Er...dun dun dun?! It's good, But there's just not much to it... and there's only 2 chapters in the WHOLE THING?! NO! Anyhoo, right now I'd say: stick to the humor in script form. But, I should prolly read chapter 2 first, yes?
Well, I can't wait for the next story, cuz that was really short and weird. There shoulda been more action, even for the prolouge. however, if they're gonna go back and spend more time in Action World, then I'll shut up, yes?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH! At the panyhose point, I let out a curiously frightening shriek of laughter. It was really weird. Plus, throughout both chapters, I laffed so hard that I literally had to gasp for breath. Not even kidding! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
HA! I laughed so hard at the end, with Dudley wanting to go to Hogwarts. Izzy gonna go? Izzyizzyiizzyizzy? (As in 'is he') well, i suppose I WILL GO FIND OUT YAY!
HAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHHAHAHAA
HAHAHAHAHAHA! OMG THAT WAS HILARIOUS I LAFFED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE THING-LITERALLY REALLY AND SIRIOUSLY AND STUFF!
Author's Response: :) Glad you enjoyed it!
I seriously had to actually walk out of the room where my computer was and take a break so I could breathe. Oh my God, you people are TALENTED! YAY! Plus, ANGER MANAGEMENT! YAY!
Author's Response: :) Thanks a bunch! *laughs* Remember to breathe, k? I don\'t want any deaths on my part. That would be very bad. O_O
Aww, that was so sweet! I loved it! *squees* That's my James!
I don't think you should keep this one story going, but you could kind of make an on-going sequel. That way, anyone coming across this one-shot can have a fluffy one-shot for themselves without any cliffies or anything and they don't have to keep reading the sequel. But it would be GREAT if you made a chaptered sequel! So this one-shot could sort of be like a 'prolouge.'
Wow.
I started reading this story at midnight this morning and finished at 5am. I just couldn't stop. I've been putting off reviewing all day because I just don't know what to say. (Plus I fell asleep O.o)
I'm still having trouble with what to say. This is amazing. Beautiful. If only they made words to describe.... I just cannot tell you.... I have never read anything like this in my life. It's amazing and beautiful. Tears, laughter, suspense, everything.
And I really love how after they've gotten together and the words "dating" "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" can be used, you didn't forget the passion and the love. I've read stories where they have all that love and romance and passion and once they can be described by the words above, they're just like every other couple. But you didn't do that. And that is one of the best things about this story. You didn't forget.
I'm still having trouble describing, but now that most of it's out, I feel better. I've been thinking about this story all day. Just thinking and replaying it in my head and tingling. This is just so amazing and beautiful. The best words: Amazing, beautiful, majestic.
Sure, the ending didn't exactly thrill me, but that was the ending. It's what happened. And I loved it. I loved the ending. Loved it.
So congratulations times a million. You really deserve it.
Author's Response: That has to be one of the best reviews I\'ve ever received. I\'m glad you really liked my story. It means a lot to me. And though you couldn\'t put your commendations into the right words in your mind, they sounded perfect to me. Thank you! :)
Oh, um, I'm sorry. I had a typo in the review I left and i wanted to set it straight. I said "majestic" but I meant "magical."
:-P Also, I just re read the story and I am at lost for words...seriously, this is one of the best stories I've ever read in my life. :-o *claps*
andisurehopethisisnotspam
*beams* I believe this is my third time reading this. And this is one of my many favorite parts.
I can see the Sea Foam Room so well. You didn't go into describing it in intense detail, but you gave us the basics. It left enough to the imagination to make me absolutely happy.
I've said it before, but I don't mind saying it again.
This story,
Is,
Amazing.
*sniffles* You got Voldy's thoughts perfect here, but I wish he weren't so evil. Ah, well. Guess that's reality. Er...sort of. XD
*shudders* Disgusting. =P But kind of sweet. Maybe... Nope, disgusting still. But I love that you put it in, anyway.
Every time I've read a scene in a book where one of the characters is being held captive, with nothing but food coming in once or twice every day, the author gives you a picture in your head of them as bone-thin, but never do they let you think for an instant that there's anything else wrong with them. As though their teeth are still pearly white, their legs still smooth. It's so unrealistic. So every time I read this chapter, I like it, because you make it more real.
:] (Yes, in case you haven't noticed, I have read and reviewed this fic before. It's one of my very favorites. XD)
I cried when I finished reading this. Only it had nothing to do with what I had just read. This shows how obsessed I am with this site and this story: I cried because I was so happy that IT HAD FINALLY BEEN UPDATED!!!!!!! *giggles* I am silly, aren't I?!
OMG I LOVE THE TITLE OF THE CHAPTER! Gosh, am I in love with James. I am really and truly in love with James Potter.
AAAAHHHH! I have been waiting forever for this to be updated. What's taking so long?!
When are you planning on updating this? Every time a new chapter is submitted, I have to re-read it because I forgot it! Please hurry up!!!
Author's Response: Artistic genius takes time *laughs and adjusts modesty cap* I\'ve had alot on my plate, trust me I thought about needing to update on a daily basis. That didn\'t mean I actually had time to do so, but it was on my mind all the same. But, I\'ve updated now, so hopefully it will be accepted soon
I owe you for a looot of banners...>.>
The first thing I noticed about this story was that I loved it. Tash, this story is fascinating. I'm so excited to see what's going to come next. When I read the summary, I just got so excited and then I couldn't stop reading if I wanted to. (And I don't. ;])
Your writing style is so...what's the word...? Entrancing. Captivating. I love what occurred beyond the infamous Veil. With the seeing and the looking, and Monday Lovegood, and Sirius freaking out...
I also love how Sirius was confused as to why Harry and Lupin were all upset when he went back into the veil.
Anyway, that's enough for now. I can't wait to see what comes next!!
*claps hands and squeals*
I finked it was going to be different! Well, I am surprised.
My favorite line from this chapter:
He wanted to rip it off the wall, scrunch it into a ball and jump and stomp on it, as if doing so would declare it invalid.
I love how it shows Sirius's desperate emotion at what is happening.
The one and only problem I have with this is that Sirius didn't seem any different around James and Lily and Harry. I figured he'd be near tears, but he was acting as though he's been hanging out with the Potters all along and had only just figured something out instead of having experienced Peter's betrayal and the death of his best friend.
Other than that, I am captivated.
Oh, and the ending was an excellent cliffie. If the next chapter wasn't already up, I'd die.
Classic break-up scene. Tee hee. I love this fic so much! Lily has so much personality.
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much! I'm glad you like Lily (and the fic of course). Thanks for the review, anyway!
Well...promise not to laugh? Okay, I read it again!
I can't help reading it and reading it! Seriously, do you know how many times I've read this? Actually, no more than 6. Or something. But that's still a lot!
I missed the part in the Disclaimer section about the fact that you don't own Draco's baby pictures. That was funny! Funnily enough, we still don't know what Filch is doing with Voldy's magic... *glares*
This is just SO funny! It was a great ending, Nagini posting, "Oopsies." That was perfect! Some authors may just have left it at Filch's post, but Nagini's oopsies was perfect!
Dark Lord Snoogerblossom? (Yeah, so it's been a while since the 5th read) *shakes head* Schmergo, Schmergo, Schmergo. How in the name of Merlin's holey socks do you come up with this stuff? I know you told me once before, but I tried it. And I can't do it nearly as well as you. You're amazing! You should contact JKR and ask her if you can publish this stuff. And then tell her I told you to. ; P
Well, good luck with...everything else that's coming! *continues to shake head* Seriously.
Author's Response: Ange! That\'s pretty incredible that you\'ve read it so many times. Snoogerblossom was based on... oddly enough, I told an Italian boy on a cruise ship that that was my name. What can I say, he was creeping me out, and, like Mungo, seemed to be allergic to shirts.
