As of 7/9/2010, I will no longer be posting any fiction here at Mugglenet. I'm still writing, and will finish all of my stories, but, honestly, I'm tired of putting up with this website. All you readers and especially reviewers - you've all been absolutely fantastic, and I hope you'll continue to follow TBW, even if it isn't at this site. I'll still respond to reviews submitted here, and I'll leave these 18 chapters up indefinitely, but that's about as active as I'll be over here. Any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me. My penname s the same everywhere in this fandom, including my yahoo & msn instant messenger screennaes, and on livejournal.

...and which lesser Harry Potter character are you?
Ah! Update soon, please. I am seriously loving this. Keep up the good work!
Or so he thinks.
An underground army is forming. Witches and wizards are being trained without his knowledge to destroy him. He may have won the first wizarding war, but the second one is coming soon, and he doesn't even know it.
Excellent beginjning! I can't wait for more. You have me thoroughly intrigued. Keep up the good work ;)
Author's Response: Thank you so much!
I loved it! It's hard to find good darkfics around here, but this (even though I've only read the first chapter) is fantastic! Good work!
Author's Response: Well, keep reading... I hope you continue to like it!
Well, I finally got around to finishing your lovely story, and all I can say is: Eek! It was fantastic! I wish there was more. I love Nicci's character and how you tied everything in with The Deathly Hallows. I hadn't rightly expected it, but it was a nice little twist. This was amazing, and I hope you continue writing, even if it's not with this character/story. Well done!
Author's Response: As you\'ve already found, Nicci\'s in my current project, the fic \"The Broken River\" - the sequel to Dealer Agent. I\'d advise all who liked this story to take a look at its sequel...
OMG that was so bad ass! I totally was not expecting that. I absolutely adore this story!
Author's Response: Well, I\'m glad your enjoying it!
Draco Malfoy has been delegated an impossible task from the Dark Lord—to lure Harry Potter to his death, Draco must do the inconceivable—make Hermione Granger fall in love with him, and should he fail, at a terrible cost...his life and his parents' lives. What at first is a heinously and humiliatingly impossible task turns into an unexpected connection with the girl he has always regarded as a Mudblood...but somehow, blood purity loses its significance when true feelings are involved.
A story of forbidden fruit, disturbing dreams, reluctant redemption, secrets and lies, self-discovery, and choosing between what is right and what is easy.

Oo, dark an ominous. I like angsty-Draco. You write it so well. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Aw, thanks. This chapter was indeed very dark and ominous, and I\'m glad you liked it because I had very iffy feelings about it. Thanks so much for reading! :)
Loved it! These lines especially tickled my fancy:
“Almost hurt my feelings there, Granger..."
I just thought that was really funny and very, very Malfoy.
“Us.” It was amazing how one word, one syllable could make her feel like she’d been doused in lethal poison.
Clever, clever :)
I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: I\'m so glad those lines \"tickled your fancy\" (BTW, great phrase there!) Thanks so much for leaving a review as always! :)
I liked these lines:
"...and a maddening stare Medusa would have been proud of."
“I’m going to have to ‘Lather, rinse, repeat’ to understand that one,” Ginny said with a slight smile.
"Undoubtedly because I have no aptitude for Divination,"
He was staring right at her with piercing grey eyes that made her feel like she was being X-rayed for cancerously concealed thoughts and feelings.
I really enjoyed the chapter. Hermione's spastic fit of rage was most entertaining. As for the kiss... I'm glad that it happened, but to be completely honest with you, it was so abrupt I had to read it twice to actually realize what happened. A bit more detail or a more drastic reaction to it might have been in order.
I loved it! Keep up the good work. I can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked those lines and that you found Angry Hermione entertaining (she says more pithy things when she\'s angry, don\'t you find?) The kiss was written abruptly because it HAPPENED abruptly, and it FELT abruptly. As for the drastic reaction, Draco left a bit too quickly for that to happen, and Hermione was in denial (or at least, she wanted to be). Thanks for such a detailed review! :)
oooo... How interesting. I loved the Dramione action! It was very well written. I was surprised (and glad) that Draco admitting to having the Dark Mark. I can't wait for more! WIll there be more Dramione in the next chapter? Hurry and update, yeah?
Author's Response: I\'m many chapters ahead than this one, so no worries, updates are a-comin\'. I\'m glad that you loved the first taste of Dramione action in this chapter, and now that they\'ve had this encounter, I can promise there will be even more. Thanks for continuing to read & review, it\'s much appreciated! :)
Interesting...'Ring of Sacrifice'... Good chapter, lots of plot, but I'm dying for some Draco/Hermione banter, awkward silence, anything, really. Can't wait for the next update! Keep up the good work :)
Author's Response: I\'m glad I\'m making you hungry for Dramione action---I\'m way ahead of the story than how much is posted in public so far and I practically itch for you all to read it...Unfortunately, moderating and approving stories takes rather a long time. I PROMISE there will indeed be Dramione action, and in the meantime, I suppose you can reread the third chapter for the awkward silence in the library. :) Thanks for leaving a review! :)
Bravo! I think this was my favorite chapter by far. You've really embraced Hermione as a character, something that I think was lacking in previous chapters. Keep up with her development, it's very well done.
The dialogue in this chapter was excellent. From Ginny to Draco, I wouldn't change a single line.
I absolutely loved the Draco/Hermione interaction this time around. It was tense, but with purpose. And Draco's one to talk, acting like Hermione is the only one who enjoys their little tete-a-tetes. He came to learn whether she'd leaked his secret, but stayed because he loves bickering with her. All in all this was a brilliant chapter; I can't wait for more. Keep up the good work, and happy holidays!
Author's Response: Thanks so much again for your reviewing consistently with every chapter--it\'s much appreciated. I\'m glad you thought the dialogue was good, because it\'s my favorite part of writing and reading a story. Draco is quite the hypocrite, but then, who isn\'t? He initiates contact and then taunts her for enjoying it. Thanks so much for reading! :)
Interesting chapter. I almost choked when I realized that Hermione left the Marauder's Map in the library. Silly girl. Nott was an idiot to leave that one there. I absolutely *cannot* wait for some Draco/Hermione interaction! I'm dying, here! Excellent chapter, keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading and reviewing again, La_Rubinita! Was Nott really an idiot for leaving it there? I suppose in a way, he was, but he \"likes to keep his tracks covered\". He\'s not a thief with objects---he\'s a thief with people\'s emotions, manipulating them so that they react the way he wants them to. Yeah, the Dramione action takes a long time to come, but it makes it that much more realistic. :)
Draco offered his mother a smile so forced it hurt,
I love this sentence. Good work.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! Personally, that\'s not one of my favorite sentences, but I\'m glad you recognized it and liked it all the same! :)
An excellent beginning. I love your tone. It's expository, but not bland. The chapter is very well written, as well. You have a knack for word choice; nothing is over-used and there aren't any odd, archaic words thrown in to the mix which leave the reader scrathing their head like 'Wha?'. Very well done, indeed :D
Author's Response: thank you very much :) I\'m really glad you\'ve enjoyed it and I hope you can read the rest of the fic :) I know you\'re not an H/G person, persay, but it\'s fun - and not too much R/Hr just yet...thanks for reading!
Some one was dying, and he had to save her.
Hurray for updates! I adore Sirius, and I think this is one of the most interesting Marauder Era plots I've come across. I can feel some interesting dynamics developing between Sirius, Regulus and Tatiana. This is such an intriguing story! I can't wait for the next update :)
Author's Response: Thankyou! Chapter four is coming soon, and it's a doozy!
Whoa, I so hadn't seen that coming! Eek! I'm so excited right now. You have an amazing plotline on your hands, and I can't wait to see where you take it!
Author's Response: Thankyou very very much.
Wow. That was intense. I loved it. Your imagery is amazing; it communicated the mood so realistically. I almost felt as though I was chasing Sirius, watching him angst it out. You, my friend, have thoroughly piqued my interest. Hurry and update! I loved this!
~Ruby
Wow, that was fantastic. I really hope you continue this. I love angsty Draco, and this is the first fic I've ever come across where the source of said angst was Luna. Really, I can't wait for more. Brilliant.
Author's Response: Thank you!!!! I\'m very happy that you enjoyed this despite the lack of action so far. I plan to continue after the holidays, due to a combination of writer\'s block and a busy schedule, and the fact that the queues must be insane right now. Thank you so much for the lovely review- it made my day, and was extremely encouraging!

I absolutely freaking loved it! Happy Christmas to you too!
Oh dear. I laughed. I cried. It was a grand event. Well done. I can't wait for more from you! You're such a fantastic author, and you never loose Draco's or Harry's voices when you write them. Thank you for another amazing story.
