Author's Response: thanks, i never really feel that poems that don\'t rhyme are really poems...at least when i write them! free-verse isn\'t quite my style, but i like other authors\' free-verses!

I\'ll finally admit that I had Severus in mind while writing this: I though of him and Occlumency and how he\'s got to work so hard to hide his true feelings and alliances. i like this fic even though it was slash. it was sad and well written. I especially liked the last line:

He was gone; he was gone for good, and all Albus had of him were the feel of his lips and the look of his hair and the glint in his eyes and too many worthless promises.
This conveys his sadness at him leaving and even though I don't usually read slash this was very good. thank you for writing.

Author's Response: Haha, I'm curious about what happens next, too. I'd like to think that Regulus and Sirius got drunk together and then went their seperate ways. What I tried to show at the end was that this was the thing that got Regulus interested in destroying the Horcruxes. I'm actually entertaining the notion of writing a Regulus-fic as a sort of sequel to this with him going about his Horcrux business. Thanks for reading! -Stubby
