Stories

Unforgivable by SexY_LydZ

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: ‘Forgive and forget.’ It’s never as easy as it sounds.

Sirius, Caris, James, Lily, Peter and Remus are finished with school forever, and are busy tackling problems like buying houses and getting jobs, and, all the while, news of this so-called ‘Dark Lord’ and his Death Eater followers becomes more and more prolific. And when tragedy strikes, it has the tendency to either bring people together or push them irrevocably apart. As everything they know changes, can they save one of their own?

Because ultimately, they’re still playing the same game. The game of love and betrayal, vice and virtue, sin and atonement.

And some things are just unforgivable.

Sequel to Sin

Not yet, anyway.

Summary:
2009 QSQs: Runner-up: Best Romance - Other Character Story

Add together one ladies' man, one Quidditch player, one werewolf, and one soon-to-be traitor. Then, mix in one imaginative idiot, one fiery redhead, one clever Ravenclaw, and one blonde artist. Stir counterclockwise until trouble occurs, and you are dealing with one of the best-loved group of friends in Hogwarts history. Follow the story of the four Marauders and four equally troublesome girls. See them deal with their first encounters of love, sorrow, heartache… and Death Eaters. How will these future Order members cope with the ordeals that life throws at them? Will love blossom in what was once thought a highly unlikely place? What do you do when the person you care about most in the world doesn’t seem to notice you at all? Will a well-kept secret shatter the foundations of a seven-year friendship? Follow the lives of these friends through their last year at school to the dramatic final battle with Lord Voldemort two decades later.

Warnings are for later chapters, and any sexual situations are very minor.

Chapter Twenty Two: "The Snakes Strike" is in the queue. Excerpt:

Perfume filled his nostrils as Emma walked passed and Rosier’s gaze lingered on her bare, pale legs as the group headed outdoors. “Don’t you just love summer?” he inquired of Regulus, a hungry sneer lighting his face.

“This is ridiculous,” Regulus announced in a furious whisper, “we’re never going to get them alone!”

“Have faith, Black,” commanded Rosier smoothly. “Girls are well renowned for their desire for girly chats. I’m sure they’ll slip off the shackles of their chaperones soon enough.”

Hand Magic by FemaleDarwin

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

You say you know everything about Harry Potter.
You say you know everything about the year he speant searching for Horcruxes throughout England.
You say you know everything about what was going on in Hogwarts that year; how his friends Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, and (ex)girlfriend Ginny Weasley kept up the inner-school rebellion against the Dark Lord and his legions.

You say you know, but you really don't. Do you know of me? Of how I was thrown into the mess unknowingly; blindly; of how I found myself compelled to asist the side of good, and not the side of evil? How, throughout this process, I learned more about myself, magic, and the world than I ever thought possible? How we despaired, laughed, cried, mourned, loved, smiled, and kept breathing through it all? How, when it seemed victory was ours, it was taken away?

Do you really know?

Neville/OC, with some hints of R/Hr and H/G.

Semiautomagic by angelicxdiscord

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Wizards excel at midrange combat. Only midrange combat. Up close and personal? The wizard’s screwed; there are no known hand-to-hand practitioners in the magical community. Widen the gap? The wizard’s screwed; a sniper beats a spellslinger any day. I can reach out and touch a victim at two kilometers; a conjurer’s lucky if he hits the broadside of a barn at that range.

It is 1997. The Dark Lord has returned. Death Eaters have taken control of the Ministry. Information is tightly controlled and propaganda is fed to the masses. Dissidents and undesirables disappear on a regular basis. All is lost, resistance is futile, yada yada blah blah blah. That’s what they’d like you to think.

My name is Corinne Lambert and I’m part of a three-man terrorist cell conducting direct action operations against Voldemort’s puppet regime. Working closely with our liaison from the Order, Charlie Weasley, we use anything and everything at our disposal to combat the Death Eaters. Magic. Firearms. Explosives. Whatever gives us an edge in this war. Because they have the numbers, they have the resources, and they have the home court advantage.

They won't know what hit them.

Guest starring Charlie Weasley, Cho Chang, various Ministry officials, Death Eaters, and other magical creepy crawlies.
Character death will only apply to fairly minor characters in the Rowling-verse.
Special thanks to Colores for proofing the first chapter of my story!
