Monochrome by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Remus Lupin is an outsider by the very nature of his condition. But whilst his friends dream in colour, his nights are monochrome. It doesn't disturb him much, it's just the way he is.

Then a late night conversation changes his mindset in a way that scares him and makes him wonder what he actually 'is'. He cannot feel that way - not about Sirius Black.

OMM&P This jointly won BEST SSP QSQ at the 2011 awards. Thank you. And yay for Ariana who wrote Two to Tango - the other winner.

I am not JK Rowling, in fact I'm not even sure I'm Equinox Chick at this moment ...

This story is for Gina (Gmariam) who is celebrating her 21st birthday. :) It is a measure of how much I adore her that I'm writing this pairing for her.

Thank you very much, Kara (Karaley Dargen) for beta'ing this story for me.

Thanks also for teh flist for sticking by me when I was haranguing them. I owe you.

Due to an MNFF glitch, I have lowered the rating on this to 3rd-5th so people can read it. However this is normally a Professors rating. You click at your own risk.

Glory Fades by princess_padfoot

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Genesis Cavanaugh, a very outspoken and (let’s face it) slightly bonkers seventh year student is about to have her whole world flipped upside down. In the seventeen years she’s been alive, there have been three main things she held to be true. 1. Lily Evans would always just be her too-perky-in-the-mornings roommate that her best mate, James Potter, had a thing for. 2. She would never need anyone in her life who wasn’t already there. 3. Above all else, she believed in a purely platonic relationship between herself and a certain mischievous Marauder. It just might take all year, but she’s got to learn sometime that truth doesn’t always prevail in the ever-changing world of Hogwarts. Hell, even the staircases like to move now and again.

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Staring out of her dusty office window, Parvati Patil - now running a detective agency with Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas - is surprised when the glamorous Karis Flint arrives. With Jonah Flint threatening to call in the Law Enforcers, can they find Blaise and the diamonds before the day is out?

Weird and Wonderful Facts by minnabird

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: It’s been almost a year and a half since the war ended, and life is looking good for Susan Bones. She shares a flat with Hannah Abbott (and occasionally Ernie Macmillan, now Hannah’s boyfriend), plans on applying to train as an advocate soon, and follows no less than five programs faithfully on the WWN. And then things get even better when she falls into a weird but wonderful relationship with a violinist named Robin Chanticleer, a larger-than-life character who reminds her of her favorite radio personalities. In fact, you could probably sum up her life right now with the phrase “weird and wonderful.”

But good things don’t always last forever, and her relationship with Robin, and even Robin himself, are not all they seemed at first. Will she and Robin work things out and live happily ever after, or is their relationship doomed to founder?

This story is a sequel of sorts to Honest to the Bone, but you probably don't need to read Honest to the Bone to understand what's going on so whether you choose to read it first or not is up to you.

Who knew their thoughts had been so intertwined?

Jess (ToBeOrNotToHaveTheLongestUserNameOnTheBoard), this is for you. Happy Birthday, mate.

Ta, lots, Gina, for the speedy beta job and Emma for the Irish help.
